OIL PRICES-WHO IS HELPING THE POOR?
On January 20, 2009 the average price for a gallon of gasoline was $1.78.9. Since then Obama and Congress have spent $5,000,000,000,000 for something to create jobs and stimulate the economy.
Today we have more unemployed; more on unemployment; more on food stamps and more on welfare than any time in American history. Why, because the only way he can win re-election is by helping the poor people think they have a better life under socialism.
The poor people who have prospered the most over the last several years are not Americans. They are the people who live in Venezuela, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other OPEC countries that export oil. Poor people in those countries have few freedoms, turmoil, and oppression, but they only pay $0.25 for a gallon of gas. Few have cars and camels do not run on gas, but the Kings, Dictators and other leaders live a life of luxury because we buy oil instead of producing our own resources. The people in most of these countries hate Americans, but the leaders love our money.
Today, where I live, a gallon of gasoline, costs $3.69.9. This is over double what it was when Obama took control of our destiny. Some will say, soak it to the rich who can afford to pay the price. “Tree Huggers” will say let the rich buy electric cars that do not endanger the environment. Politicians just run and hide.
Is Obama the only President who opposes using our own resources to become energy independent, no? We have never had a President or a Congress who have had the courage to stop the transfer of wealth from America to people who want to destroy our freedoms and kill us all.
The really sad part is the increasing price of gasoline hurt the poor more than anyone. If they live and work outside the urban areas, most have to drive to work and back. Even in urban areas the transportation costs rise as trains and busses, unlike camels, have to operate on various petroleum related products. The airlines just announced a 10% increase in ticket prices to offset the rising fuel costs. The same will be true for truckers, trains and the poor people who have to drive to work. This will increase the costs of a loaf of bread, gallon of milk, chickens and every other thing we must have to survive.
It is time for the American poor to realize that every time they get a dollar to buy their votes, it just costs them a dollar more to buy the same bread and milk they must have to survive. They never gain anything and never will unless they get better jobs. Although Obama and Congress have increased the federal workforce, they can’t hire everyone to work for the government.
You and I are the only reason this transfer of wealth has lasted this long or even started. If we can’t solve all of our problems, we can demand that we become an exporter of oil as we have more oil than the rest of the world combined. Let’s share the oil wealth we have and ignore with our poor, rather than taxing Americans who have lived the American dream, for their wealth from hard work. We could also pay China with oil and eliminate the national debt.
November is the time to clean house in Washington and not just Obama. We the people own America, not the politicians or lobbyist that robs us blind. “United we Stand, Divided we fall.”

EXCELLENT.
But wait, once the poor have the “Obama Gas Card” in their pockets the hurt will be passed on to you.
Anymore thoughts on the impact of the speculators? I still think this is at least as big a contributor to the price since there really is no shortage of oil anywhere. This article from the EIA (http://www.eia.gov/energy_in_brief/foreign_oil_dependence.cfm) says that oil imports are down. Dependance is going down and speculation is going up. I think we need to look at the way the market is regulated (ughhh, another regulation). Sorry, but on something this important it sure looks like the foxes are running with the hens and the hen house. http://www.eia.gov/totalenergy/data/monthly/pdf/sec9_6.pdf. Vote em all out and lets start over, what is the worst that could happen? Just my 2 cents.
