OBAMA AND CONGRESSIONAL PRIORITIES???????????????????

QUESTION: Do you receive solicitation for charitable donations? Most Americans probably receive hundreds of mail and telephone request to help people who are in need. Since our current President assumed power the volume of these request has at least tripled for us. Having been born in 1930, I grew up during times when charities and churches were the only life line for more people than those who suffer today. Back then Americans took care of each other. Neighbors took care of neighbors.

Now neighbors don’t even know each other. One-half of all Americans now despise each other because that is the political objective of our President and Congress. The politicians can only survive by turning Americans against each other with every issue they can create or that happens by fate.

The bitterness of our current Democratic leaders like President Obama, Senator Reid, Congress member Pelosi to divide the people is sad and pitiful. The hate they espouse is unprecedented and the lack of decorum in Congress is not leadership. America is now a leaderless country. Every decision is political instead of sensible. This dissention of leadership has destroyed common sense in every aspect of our government, including the Supreme Court. The Republican leadership is so divided it has a hard time finding common positions to provide solutions for anything.

Let me walk you through some facts that should bother every American regarding our Governments priorities. I was honorably discharged after nearly five years in the US Navy when I was 22. The only veteran’s benefit I ever needed was a low interest GI loan for my first home. I was raised to take care of my family by working and I was blessed to be able to do this.

What prompted me to write this was inspired by opening one of the frequent request from “Wounded Warriors” who I have supported ever since Trace Adkins commercials first appeared on TV. This motivated me to do some research as it seems like we have far too many different organizations just to support the brave military veterans who put their life on the line to protect our freedoms. WOW, was I overwhelmed when I just examined two websites. Take a look at the following that I feel certain is not a complete list.

I read all of the stories of how our veterans are served by our government. The backlog of request for help from the Veterans Admiration is unacceptable. Congress talks about this and does nothing to help these people. I now understand why we have all of these charities, funds and foundations to help the “Hero’s”.

WHY?

Because Congress and our President could care less that these brave Americans volunteered to serve to protect us and they should be given every priority possible. They are not an important voting bloc to help them get re-elected.

A crack-head welfare recipient can destroy themselves physically and be approved for Social Security Disability faster than a critically wounded soldier can wade through the VA red tape for a disability rating.

WHY?

Because we keep voting for the Progressive Liberals that divide Americans and turn us against each other on purpose. It is time to clean out Washington and agree to elect a leader to “UNITE” us again. How do you feel? C Brewer
