THE NEWS MEDIA, AN AMERICAN TRAGEDY!

The rain usurped my usual tee time at 7 am this morning so I chose to watch the news again and what a waste of time. Now even Fox News is beginning to join the war against President Trump. How anyone can suffer with watching ABC, NBC or CBS and their all news network stations deserves a Purple Heart Medal for being wounded in action. Every national television network is no longer a news source. Now it presents individual “Actors” posing as commentators that are as dishonest as Al Capone. Twisted facts, personal opinions, bias, and performances worthy of an Academy Award for acting is not “reporting the news”!

Between 6 am and noon I watched every move Jared Kushner made as he was leaving a car at the Capital. He then proceed and I was able to watch every step he took along corridors to be interviewed by some Senate group of puppet lawyers. Watching this once was probably news reporting but after 16 times, five in just one hour, I found reruns of NCIS far more interesting than commentary by ten different retired politicians, bureaucrats and an array of Fox reporters. This coupled with other snippets about Russian influence in the last election were far too much.

Why can’t the media take at least part of one day a week for the next several months to report factual in-depth pictures of the infrastructure which is crumbling. A report from each State would be something us common folks would connect with. Pictures of bridges that are crumbling is news we all need. Which State is better or worse and why?

A detailed factual report on how many people are on welfare and do not have to work in each State would be news. Showing how people in the 1930”s, when I was a boy, that actually worked to build infrastructure instead of sitting on their butts while others feed them would be news. Progress to fix problems or continue to ignore them is called news.

Another interesting news report on how long it takes a military veteran to get, in some cases, inadequate treatment. We could watch first hand the actual differences of treatment available in each State. That my friends is news the people need to make decisions on who to vote for in future Congressional elections.    

Do a series of reports on healthcare in each State to commend the positive and focus attention on the negative facts. Report why Insurance costs are not the same in each state and why. Focus in on why insurance companies cannot cross State lines to sell the same policies and who is controlling the decisions of difference. Wow, this might actually help get the politicians who will not act to stop this senseless regulation be voted out of office.

Actually send reporters to each State to report on how many illegal aliens actually create costs to feed, educate, treat medically and house them. Report on why they are allowed to have jobs while able Americans sit on their butt and draw welfare. The differences in each State would be facts us folks could use to elect politicians who guarantee they will even the Federal playing field. If Louisiana voters have to pay twice as much to handle illegals as New Hampshire for example may force Congress to do something except chase Russians. They might actually help make America Great Again, and spend more time at work than on vacation?

It is time for Americans to rise up again like we did when we elected Trump. We need to help him make Congress work instead of debate. We need to vote to throw out every politician, Republican and Democrat, that rather get face time on a news program than represent the people.

I am hoping that the weather tomorrow will let me tee off at 7 am. I just heard that Kushner will testify tomorrow with another herd of government lawyers for a House of Representative committee. I know this sounds simple but why can’t two Houses of Congress harass Mr. Kushner at the same time? Folks “common sense” is not possible in the Washington Swamp. Do you agree or disagree?

SANCTUARY AMERICA!

ONE SYMBOLIC  MOVEMENT TO  DIS-UNITE ALL FIFTY STATES!

You can argue the reasons for the flood of Sanctuary cities, counties, states or any other municipalities that have become the biggest flaunting of US laws in my lifetime. There are thousands of articles available on the internet that can drive you crazy. You can watch slanted interviews on the “Left-media” propaganda” on networks like ABC, NBC, CBS,CNN, PBS and even Congress own network, C-Span.

The article I last posted pointed out the problem of covert disruption of free speech including destruction of property and attacking fellow Americans who have free speech rights of peaceful assembly. Watching these “Cowards” hide their faces to destroy property and physically attack fellow Americans is the sickest violation of laws I have ever watched.

Let me tell you that the real reason for the sanctuary movement is to provide protection for the “Cowards” that was not available when their Parents or grandparents started the disruption movement during the Vietnam war in the 1960’s. Some like the Ayres, Clinton’s, Fonda’s, Turners had enough money backing to openly break our laws with no fear of being drafted. Most of the lowly “Cowards” fled to Canada to avoid the draft.

The current power brokers like George Soros can buy their way out of jeopardy and pay the faceless cowards to do the dirty work. They can also provide the liberal lawyers necessary to spring them free to hide in the Sanctuary locations protected by local dissidents who govern these outlaw functions. They can hide behind the publicized propaganda of protecting illegal aliens. In fact it appears that illegal aliens are the primary source of “Cowards” in some of the larger illegal entities nationwide.

Watching Congress and the Supreme Court allow this flagrant lawlessness flourish is sick. I found some words of wisdom for those who wish to get involved and help stop the law breaking forces. These words were taken from an article written by Steve Salvi, Founder, OJJPAC.org

“Military strategists understand the importance of denying an enemy geographic sanctuaries.  Sanctuaries allow an enemy time to safely operate and build up defensive and offensive capabilities and hold and take ground.  Sanctuaries for illegal aliens likewise provide an important strategic advantage over law enforcement and their ability to perform their law enforcement duties.

Sanctuary policies, official or de facto, result in safe havens (or safer havens) for illegal aliens involved in a variety of criminal enterprises.  Sanctuary policies inhibit the ability of law enforcement officers to accurately identify foreign nationals which makes it more difficult to uncover their illegal activities.  Illegal aliens face less risk of deportation too if caught by local law enforcement.  Sanctuary policies also help shield the operations of Latin American drug cartels, gangs, and terrorist cells–since their activities are less likely to be detected and real identities uncovered by local, state, or federal law enforcement.

Some sanctuary cities (e.g., Chicago and San Francisco) even receive millions of dollars in federal State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) grants to compensate for the cost of jailing illegal alien criminals–even though their city sanctuary policies act to encourage illegal alien settlement.

According to Santa Clara County  District Attorney Jeffrey Rosen, the Santa Clara County California’s sanctuary policy has put its citizens at greater risk. District Attorney Rosen proposed that  the County Board of Supervisors vote to ease its law barring local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration law enforcement.  Rosen gave an example of a woman who was raped by an illegal alien who had been shielded from federal detention by the county’s policy.

“What you can do to stop sanctuary policies in your city and state”.

“What can you do to help stop sanctuary policies?  Get involved and demand change!  Call the President and your members of Congress (U.S. House and U.S. Senate) and demand aggressive border and interior enforcement of U.S. immigration laws.  At the state and local level, attend and testify at scheduled public meetings and determine what are your community’s policies.  If your local government or state has official or unofficial sanctuary policies, demand that the policies be repealed.

A group of citizens in Spokane, Washington, called Respect Washington, started an initiative petition in 2015 (Initiative No. 2015-1) to stop the city’s illegal alien sanctuary policy which was adopted by the Spokane City Council as Ordinance Nos. C35164 and C-35167 in October, 2014.  The group is also working on a statewide “Respect for Law” initiative petition.

Some state legislatures have either passed or are considering immigration enforcement legislation too, which you can support.  For example, in early 2015, State Senator Charles Perry, R-Lubock, Texas, introduced SB 185.  SB 185 specifically allowed local law enforcement to question immigration status and share that information with federal law enforcement.  It also allowed the Texas Attorney General to investigate citizen complaints about Texas cities that have adopted sanctuary policies”.    END

George Soros and a band on other multi-rich including banks are behind the move to eventually socialize America. This can be done by Congress if the majority of Americans agree that we need to void our Constitution and Bill of Rights legally.

I for one believe enough real Americans have awakened to the move to destroy our Republic form of Democracy and elected , legally, a new President to stop this lawlessness. The new “Sheriff Trump” has amassed a “Posse” like Sessions, Tillerson, Mattis, Mattis, Mnuchin, Pruitt, Perry and Zinke just to name a few of his new cabinet to systematically make America “Great” again.

Unfortunately as I near 87 I may not be around to see these patriots destroy the movements who have openly killed the art of making things in America by regulating everything in sight. What may not be something everyone would prioritize, I hope to see all “Tree Huggers” who have had outlawed proven forest functions to keep our National Forest beautiful. Proven methods of thinning the forests has been an asset for small Counties like Sabine in East Texas where I live.

Sabine National Forest occupies some 300 square miles of the 600 square miles in Sabine County. The only revenue the Federal Government provided since inception, as they cannot be taxes for roads, schools, etc., was a portion of revenue from selling trees to lumber companies. Regulators stopped all harvesting to keep the forest prettier and then eliminated revenue sharing with local municipalities.

Dear Jeff Sessions, please stop all Federal funding to any Sanctuary entity and hopefully all Government departments will follow suit and stop all Federal funding too. Money drives everything today, unfortunately this includes our entire court system including the Supreme Court.

ANARCHY, WHY?

Watching the destruction of property by anarchists these past two weeks is unbelievable in America. Lawlessness by both mobs and individuals is against the laws of this land. The recent  activity in Berkeley California was especially sickening. Watch the destruction of property by a group of thugs with mask was just being observed by the police who never did anything to stop this was sickening.

Apparently the people of California have adopted the need to destroy public and private property and succeed from the United States. As one old man 86 years old I hope they are successful. They have elected a group of politicians who are as dumb as a sack of rocks.

What a pleasure it would be to watch Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein the cream of California’s dissidents have to return home to the “Land of Fruit and Nuts”. Let these Progressives go to Hollywood and sell their acts to movie makers. They have more face time on the “Leftmedia”( a new word to better describe ) ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC and PBS than all of the “true” conservatives combined. I used the word “true” as there are more Progressive RINO’s on the “Leftmedia” attacking Trump than Demoncrats on certain days. I am sick of McCain, Graham, Murkowski and Collins openly trying to split the Republicans in Congress.

When we have the supposedly Leaders in Congress openly urging these dissident idiots, most paid to destroy by Soros, to disrupt, destroy, attack and kill or maim other Americans. Folks this is “Anarchy” not freedom of speech or right to assemble it is against every law of the land and must be stopped. If the “Leftmedia” and even Fox News would refuse to report this mayhem it would be stopped immediately by law enforcement. The media and people like the ACLU have made enforcing the law more the focus of criticism than the idiots that have become anarchist. To make sure I don’t ignore the real trainers of our anarchist youth let me travel back to the 60’s and the likes of the Clinton’s during the Viet Nam war. The tenured professors in all major colleges and universities have openly created this growing army of brainwashed youth.

If the Progressives, Demoncrats, RINO’s, ACLU and the “American Anarchist Army” continue this use of mass destruction no one will ever save our Republic. The people have spoken and given Donald Trump the power to stop the race to Socialize America. Now we have several Liberal Federal Judges join the battle to support the mayhem and safety of the people by stopping every action Trump will try to do to restore safety and order. Sadly we have a Political Supreme Court sit on their robed asses and do nothing as they are deadlocked 4 to 4 and useless.

One thing Trump, Congress, the courts and the three million lobbyist have not mentioned so far is our spoiled, under-educated, brainwashed and poorly parented young who carry out the anarchism. To my knowledge only one free country in the world, Israel, has used common sense and what most of our enemies employ to eliminate this senseless and destructive violence. These countries have adjusted for the lack of parental training and the courage of their youth to ignore tenured professors. The simple solution is mandatory military service for at least six months at 18 whether they graduate from High school or drop out.

I can imagine how the ACLU, the “Leftmedia” and the Political left-leaning Federal Judges would explode should this common sense solution were proposed. I would love to see Trump sign an Executive Order for this immediately and watch the games begin.

It is sad to watch so many Americans get worked up, paid to destroy property, block traffic, and challenge law enforcement who try to do their job because Trump tries to stop the flow of eventual terrorism with a ban on certain Muslims. He will be challenged even more when he starts to send the army of illegal Hispanics who are draining our resources with free medical, free food, free housing, etc.

What really bothers this old American is that Congress, the Supreme Court, the ACLU, misguided youth, college professors and especially the “Leftmedia” and even FOX News only have consistent concerns for immigrants’ rights. None of the these misguided “Turkeys” have any concern for the millions of real American veteran who are homeless, untreated mistreated by the VA and forgotten heroes who served and fought for their right to protest.

Oops, I forgot we do have a few leaders who have been motivated to care by our new President Trump who will help the veterans get rights at least equal to illegals. That is if the Demoncrats led by Chuck Schumer will get off their asses and help.

PROGRESSIVE MEDIA BIAS?

UNBELIEVABLE, WHEN YOU REALLY THINK ABOUT IT.

It is amazing that, within only one week of Tiger Woods crashing his Escalade, the press found every woman with whom Tiger has had an affair during the last few years?

They even uncovered photos, text messages, recorded phone calls, etc.!

They not only know the cause of the family fight, but they even know it was a wedge from his golf bag that his wife used to break out the windows in the Escalade. 

They even knew which wedge!

Each & every day, they were able to continue to provide America with updates on Tiger’s sex rehab stay, his wife’s divorce settlement figures, as well as the dates tournaments in which he was to play.

 NOW CHANGE THE SUBJECT TO THE OBAMA’S!

Barack Hussein Obama has been in office for well over seven years, yet this very same press Cannot find any of his childhood friends or neighbors.

They have never found any of Obama’s high school or college classmates.

They have never located any of his college papers or grades.

They have never determined how he paid for both a Columbia & a Harvard education.

They have never discovered which country issued his visa to travel to Pakistan in the 1980’s.

Thave never reported Michelle Obama’s Princeton thesis was on racism.

They just can’t seem to uncover any of this.

Yet, most of the American public still trusts that same press to give them the whole truth!

Don’t you find that totally amazing? The answer is “Payoff Money”

I have given up using any information from the national media and depend on the internet and E messages to create articles. The bias has also corrupted the sources designed to validate information like Snopes. Washington has become the creek mentioned above and every facet of our government from a Page in Congress to the President need to be eliminated, rehabilitated or replaced.

GULLIBILITY, HONESTY AND ETHICS!

Watching the triad of Republican candidates, Cruz, Paul and Rubio who are already running for President of the United States is interesting. If you desire to watch how the three traits I included in the title of this article play out you might gain some knowledge. Honesty and ethics of these young men is refreshing but when you throw in innocence you have a factor most overlook. The one thing that will remove all chances of a Republican winning back the White house in 2016 is gullibility. All three of these candidates have proven to me that they are honest and ethical in both written words and interviews.

Looking back at the last two Republicans who ran for President, McCain and Romney, there were differences. McCain came across as a career politician who felt like Americans owed him the position. Even though I voted for him I never personally trusted his honesty or his ethics. In regards to his gullibility, Obama made him look like a fool in every debate they had. McCain is not a bad person but politics have scarred his body and mind far more than his time as a prisoner of war.  

When Romney, who I also voted for, made his run for the Presidency he came across to me as a model of honesty and ethics. If they had pictures in the dictionary to display beside the words Ethics and Honesty Romney, Cruz, Paul and Rubio would all be there. Sadly like McCain, Romney also let courtesy, leadership and correctness allow the biggest con artist in American political history to win two terms as President of the United States. Gullibility is being unable to understand that politics in America today is one-sided.

I am “not” suggesting that the Republican candidates learn how to lie, cheat, extort, and mesmerize the voter. They must learn how to expose both the Democratic candidate, Democrats in Congress and the media who has the power to destroy any political candidate they desire. The American media is no longer a purveyor of the news, it has become a propaganda power far greater than the press in Germany was in the 1930’s when I was a boy. Obama, with the help of the media, has proved if you lie long enough the gullible will give up. Currently the gullible women, students and the exploding welfare population believe that getting everything free has no consequences. When there is no longer anyone able or willing to create industrial jobs the party is over.

This morning I watched an interview of Rand Paul on Fox and Friends that was an example of how gullible the inexperienced Senator can be. Fox is accused of right-wing bias but this morning it proved otherwise to me. The entire interview was pushing him to criticize Hillary Clinton. They had no other purpose than to make him look like he was against the only woman running so far for President. This chicanery is to be expected on CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC and their derivatives. Now Fox appears to be changing.

I mentioned that I voted for both McCain and Romney but I did not explain another political phenomenon that has now become the standard for elections in America in my lifetime. Only the gullible vote for anyone today while myself and far too many Americans actually vote against someone for their choices for leadership. Any American that voted for Obama, especially the second time, has intelligence issues and has no regard for either ethics or honesty. No one in their right mind can ignore the effort to ignore our Constitution by our President, Cabinet Officers and even the Supreme Court. If these people want to change the Constitution, our rights and our government, then do it by lawful methods already in place.

So far the only Republican candidate that has proven to me that he is smarter than the twisted interviewers is Cruz. So far he has been faster minded than the media and has not been goaded to criticizing his opponents, including Hillary. If he maintains his mastery of knowledge, honesty and ethics during interviews and debates he will get my vote and support. Unfortunately because he is a proven leader he will likely not get nominated. If the Republicans continue to destroy each other in the primaries I will probably just vote for a third loser in a row. President Hillary Clinton scares me and the Republican Party will cease to exists.

SECOND AMMENDMENT RIGHTS!

THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!

The myths about guns killing people and our current President, Attorney General, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, PBS and especially MSNBC have falsely promoted are just myths. My friend Dr. Peter Forrest just sent me the following factual message which I hope will allow people to know the truth. Government sponsored Obama propaganda is exactly like the myths used for German people to turn in their guns in the 1930’s, then were enslaved. History proves this for those who are too dumb to read.

I have no idea who wrote this article to give them credit for words that expose these myths. I felt obligated to post this and possibly make one American, who can read, admit that guns don’t kill people. Hopefully there is at least one Democrat in America that is willing to accept these facts?

DO GUNS KILL PEOPLE?

Today I swung my front door wide open and placed my Remington 30.06 right in the doorway. I left 6 cartridges beside it, then left it alone and went about my business.

While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, the neighbor boy across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street, and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign near the front of my house.

After about an hour, I checked on the gun. It was still sitting there, right where I had left it. It hadn’t moved itself outside.

It certainly hadn’t killed anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had presented to do so.

In fact, it hadn’t even loaded itself. Well you can imagine my surprise, with all the hype by the Left and the Media about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people.

Either the media is wrong or I’m in possession of the laziest gun in the world.

The United States is 3rd in Murders throughout the World. But if you take out just 4 cities: Chicago, Detroit, Washington, DC and New Orleans, the United States is 4th from the bottom, in the entire world, for Murders.

These 4 Cities also have the toughest Gun Control Laws in the U.S.

ALL 4 of these cities are controlled by Democrats.

It would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data if you are a Democrat – right?

Well, I’m off to check on my spoons. I hear they’re making people fat.

Unchecked, Obama will eventually regulate what we eat, drink, read, listen to and pray. Now he wants to make voting mandatory and not voting a crime. Watching him prosecute all of the dead voters in Illinois will be a hoot. All he needs is more time and it would not surprise me to see him declare Marshall Law and be the last elected President I will live to see. Laugh if you must but history repeats itself folks.  CB

WASHINGTON WITCHCRAFT?

It amazes me how our current President, his entire horde of Czars, his communist advisers, the mainstream media and the entire Democratic Party believe that the majority of Americans are stupid. I will agree that those who voted for them are stupid but I can’t believe they are the majority of American voters. They have lied, covered up snafus, hidden written documents, misused their lawful power and are regulating us into bankruptcy with little or no resistance.

Well the “Wicked Witch of the West”, Hillary Clinton, has been caught with her panties in a knot for actually ignoring a federal law and committing a federal crime. Now we face several months of lies, smoke screens as she prepares to succeed our “Liar-in-Chief” as President.

Prepare yourself for a performance that will be so filled with drama it would win an Academy Award. If she is elected the Hollywood loons will probable give her that award after serving her eight years as President? All she has to do is keep the women’s vote and the abortion zealots in the Republican Party will make sure to help her.

I have spent the day listening to and reading articles related to Hillary’s use of a private E mail service to conduct even top secret correspondence while she was Secretary of State. That alone is a revelation of how our government has become a secret society within itself.

The most ridiculous event in the news today was that the White House counsel’s office was not aware at the time Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State that she relied solely on personal email to correspond. They admitted it was the congressional investigation into the Benghazi attack that alerted them of the crime. If that is true, why did the White House and Eric Holder’s Justice Department ignore the crime that was exposed over a year ago? Even the stupid and women know the answer, “Politics as Usual.”

Another bothersome action I read was that the State Department turned over some of her messages in connection with the Benghazi probe after she left office. They knew a year ago she had ignored federal law when the White House counsel’s office asked the State department to ensure that her email records were properly archived, according to the article I read.

Clinton announced in a late-night tweet yesterday that she wants her emails released. She asked the State Department to vet the 55,000-plus pages she handed over, leaving the diplomatic agency with the intensely politicized task of determining which can be made public. Why can’t they be released to Congress committees who have security clearance? The answer, “Politics as Usual.”

John Kerry told reporters today during a trip to Saudi Arabia that the State Department will move immediately to review the emails but cautioned it will take time. “We will undertake this task as rapidly as possible in order to make sure that we are dealing with the sheer volume in a responsible way,” Kerry said. The reason for any delay is “Politics as Usual.”

Even though they suspected something was being hidden, the committee, chaired by Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., announced Wednesday that it has issued a subpoena to Clinton directly for all of her communications relating to Libya, including emails from her personal server, texts, attachments and pictures. If there is nothing confidential in her E mails why do they have to be screened by Kerry and why can’t Hillary give them direct access?

I just read in the Federalist that Hillary Clinton and her allies may be claiming that her private e-mail system is no big deal. “Hillary’s State Department actually forced the 2012 resignation of the U.S. ambassador to Kenya in part for setting up an unsanctioned private e-mail system. According to a 2012 report from the State Department’s inspector general, former U.S. ambassador to Kenya Scott Gration set up a private e-mail system for his office in 2011”. “Politics as Usual?”

Watching what happens will be interesting. Look for excuses that will put tears in the eyes of every American female voter both dead and alive. They have enough time to make it look like discrimination against women. We have women who are more than qualified than our last several Presidents and are capable of leading America back on a Constitutional path. It is time to give a woman a chance to prove me right but not Hillary Clinton. At least find a woman who is truthful, honest, ethical, and loves America as much as I do from either political party.

The Clintons have so many skeletons buried from the Ozark’s to the Adirondack Mountains that it will be a field day to watch NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and PBS manipulate the facts to get Hillary elected in 2016.

Honesty, truth, ethics and true love for America are no longer a requirement for the media or politicians.

KEYSTONE – SEE HOW REAL LEADERS PERFORMED!

America once had “Leadership”, I wonder what happened to change our historical world leadership. Read this and find out.

Remind yourself this film was produced in 1944 and when politics was not managing every facet our lives from Washington. We won this war because the politicians let the military do the job they were trained for with leaders that were leaders instead of politicians. If America was attacked today it would take Obama 1-5 days to have it filtered by the Czars, politically analyzed by the staff before he could decide what to do. 60 years ago we built a pipeline under water hundreds of miles and did not pollute anything. Obama, tree huggers, greedy investors,  ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN are screaming to keep the Keystone Pipeline from being completed. It is time to stop this nonsense and move America forward again.

America has been stalled in neutral since Pelosi and Reid took power in 2006 and in total reverse since 2008 worried about spilling some shale oil. Washington D.C., Democrats and Republicans, seem to have a burning desire to buy our oil from our enemies rather than from our Canadian allies. I suppose they would rather take a chance with a tanker filled with a million gallons of crude sinking in an ocean rather that a possible few hundred gallons over a few acres from a high-tech pipeline.

Wake up America this is 2014 and we mastered pipeline technology over 60 years ago. Let the petroleum trained people do their job. Let insurance companies assume the risks, which is a waste of money today and stop funding the enemy. I suppose risking American military lives by trying to civilize Muslims and enrich South American dictators is more civilized for Americans who keep electing Democrats?

You may have already known of this, but I sure didn’t. In spite of watching film about WW II and the European theater, I never thought to wonder how all the military vehicles were supplied with fuel. They sure couldn’t just stop at the corner station and fill up their tank or jeep gas tank. I found this film fascinating.

When the environmentalists  and politicians someday find out how to fuel our nations transportation needs with  beans or Okra we can start buying sand from our enemies to keep them armed to kill us. Believe me as I have been there, they have more sand than they have oil.

WAKE UP AMERICA

I woke up this morning prepared to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary and the first thing I hear is a recap of Emperor Obama’s Saturday morning address to the nation. Normally when he appears or is quoted I reach for the wand to change the channel. To be honest, watching this man destroy America has forced me to record all news programs that allows me to fast forward and skip propaganda. Eliminating ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NPR and CNBC avoids the most slanted political news in my near 82 years. Fox news used to be somewhat reasonable as Alan Colmes was only on one program that could be skipped. Now we have Bob Beckel to avoid, Juan Williams and Colmes for breakfast, lunch and all afternoon and evening. One thing positive has resulted; I play more golf than most people my age which keeps me out of the Lazy Boy. Looking in the woods and using my ball retriever to find my golf ball gets me more exercise and lot more enjoyment. My wife said she had rather watch grass grow than suffer through watching the news. We get our 98% of the news from the internet.

Back to the agony that motivated me to write this article. Two specific points were addressed by our mindless leader this morning;

1. Our roads and infrastructure are crumbling.

2. We need to make sure that every American and illegal alien child has access to a college education. I will address these two points separately but watch them oppose each other in reality.

First let me share that in the 1930’s when I was a boy we had a terrible unemployment problem. We did not have as many roads, we did not have the National or State parks to enjoy and in fact we did not have any money. There was no Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, welfare or unemployment money. Unfortunately these conditions brought us the programs that have destroyed America and Obama has us on a fast track to go bankrupt.

Franklin Roosevelt at least had the brains to accomplish something of value as America struggled through the Great Depression. Instead of borrowing money to pay people not to work, he helped create the Works Project Administration (WPA) and the Civilian Conservation Corps. (CCC). I doubt that anyone born after 1945 ever knew these programs existed. I feel certain that our elementary education system or colleges do not reveal this crisis era so many suffered through. For sure the media makes no mention of how WPA or CCC programs were used to create the infrastructure that we have today that is crumbling or has disappeared.

I had an uncle that joined the CCC’s to keep from starving. I did have a chance as a boy to watch a four lane highway constructed between Mineral Wells (where I was born) and Weatherford, Texas some 18 miles away. This was a hand laid brick road that provided improved travel. In addition my Dad’s first cousin built a brickyard in Mineral Wells to provide the bricks for the highway. This is how the government and private enterprise joined hands to make this country the envy of the world. People earned their money instead of sitting on their butts and expecting those who do work to pay them to do nothing. By the way the brickyard also provided jobs. This cycle also helped the grocery stores and all other businesses to create more jobs.

Paying people to do nothing is why we have 24/7/365 politicians. Finding dead people to vote has become more difficult today. If Obama wants to improve the roads and infrastructure he should study what his Progressive predecessor did in the 1930’s. Let the people on welfare, the unemployed and even the baby factory mothers do something to improve something. Even licking stamps for Congressional free mail would put thousands to something meaningful.

Now let me address the Obama dream to allow every child, American or illegal, get a college education. Probably over 75% of today’s children have been shoved through the elementary education process with programs like “No Child Left Behind” and the other gimmickry used to dumb down them down. Our entire education systems today is government controlled to separate the gifted child from the average ones. Keep the people divided at every level possible.

It is sad to read that the majority of students in some parts of this great country actually graduate from high school and still can’t read at 8th grade levels.

Providing higher education for every student that is gifted or that has actually driven themselves to learn is a noble and achievable objective. Using race and other political reasons to force incapable children to go to colleges or universities is insanity. I posted several articles on the education system failures that you can still find on this blog if you desire to see how rotten our education system is today. I encourage you to take the time to get involved with this crisis. How the governments and the unions have ruined our education system is frightening.

Now let me bring the two Obama goals together. I just read that 40% of graduating college students today can’t find a position needing their education. I wonder how many of them are doing something to survive that is below their capability. Now that Obama has mandated that they can stay at home until they are 26 years old and be covered on the parents insurance; I wonder how many are still living with their parents?; I wonder how many really don’t want a job?; I wonder how many that did not go to college still live with their parents?; I wonder how many are interrupting our live with protesting for more freebies from the people who actually work for a living?

Fast forward to having every child college educated. Will they be willing to pick vegetables in the hot sun? I’m certain they would avoid paving roads with hot tar. I wonder how many would be willing to work on constructing tall buildings? I can’t see many willing to be a tool pusher on an oil rig. How many would be willing to be a deckhand on a tug boat? Last but not least how many would be happy flipping burgers or sacking groceries at the supermarket?

Obama’s message this morning was targeted to further divide Americans from reality. Only the people on the government dole, union members, morons or the dead could possibly agree with his message this morning. Unfortunately when you add up the ones who fit this description coupled with questionable sane people who will not vote, he will probably have enough votes to get re-elected. Even Ripley would not believe this is happening.
