SANCTUARY AMERICA!

ONE SYMBOLIC  MOVEMENT TO  DIS-UNITE ALL FIFTY STATES!

You can argue the reasons for the flood of Sanctuary cities, counties, states or any other municipalities that have become the biggest flaunting of US laws in my lifetime. There are thousands of articles available on the internet that can drive you crazy. You can watch slanted interviews on the “Left-media” propaganda” on networks like ABC, NBC, CBS,CNN, PBS and even Congress own network, C-Span.

The article I last posted pointed out the problem of covert disruption of free speech including destruction of property and attacking fellow Americans who have free speech rights of peaceful assembly. Watching these “Cowards” hide their faces to destroy property and physically attack fellow Americans is the sickest violation of laws I have ever watched.

Let me tell you that the real reason for the sanctuary movement is to provide protection for the “Cowards” that was not available when their Parents or grandparents started the disruption movement during the Vietnam war in the 1960’s. Some like the Ayres, Clinton’s, Fonda’s, Turners had enough money backing to openly break our laws with no fear of being drafted. Most of the lowly “Cowards” fled to Canada to avoid the draft.

The current power brokers like George Soros can buy their way out of jeopardy and pay the faceless cowards to do the dirty work. They can also provide the liberal lawyers necessary to spring them free to hide in the Sanctuary locations protected by local dissidents who govern these outlaw functions. They can hide behind the publicized propaganda of protecting illegal aliens. In fact it appears that illegal aliens are the primary source of “Cowards” in some of the larger illegal entities nationwide.

Watching Congress and the Supreme Court allow this flagrant lawlessness flourish is sick. I found some words of wisdom for those who wish to get involved and help stop the law breaking forces. These words were taken from an article written by Steve Salvi, Founder, OJJPAC.org  

“The consequences of sanctuary policies.  What you can do.”   

“Military strategists understand the importance of denying an enemy geographic sanctuaries.  Sanctuaries allow an enemy time to safely operate and build up defensive and offensive capabilities and hold and take ground.  Sanctuaries for illegal aliens likewise provide an important strategic advantage over law enforcement and their ability to perform their law enforcement duties.

Sanctuary policies, official or de facto, result in safe havens (or safer havens) for illegal aliens involved in a variety of criminal enterprises.  Sanctuary policies inhibit the ability of law enforcement officers to accurately identify foreign nationals which makes it more difficult to uncover their illegal activities.  Illegal aliens face less risk of deportation too if caught by local law enforcement.  Sanctuary policies also help shield the operations of Latin American drug cartels, gangs, and terrorist cells–since their activities are less likely to be detected and real identities uncovered by local, state, or federal law enforcement.

Some sanctuary cities (e.g., Chicago and San Francisco) even receive millions of dollars in federal State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) grants to compensate for the cost of jailing illegal alien criminals–even though their city sanctuary policies act to encourage illegal alien settlement.

According to Santa Clara County  District Attorney Jeffrey Rosen, the Santa Clara County California’s sanctuary policy has put its citizens at greater risk. District Attorney Rosen proposed that  the County Board of Supervisors vote to ease its law barring local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration law enforcement.  Rosen gave an example of a woman who was raped by an illegal alien who had been shielded from federal detention by the county’s policy.

“What you can do to stop sanctuary policies in your city and state”.

“What can you do to help stop sanctuary policies?  Get involved and demand change!  Call the President and your members of Congress (U.S. House and U.S. Senate) and demand aggressive border and interior enforcement of U.S. immigration laws.  At the state and local level, attend and testify at scheduled public meetings and determine what are your community’s policies.  If your local government or state has official or unofficial sanctuary policies, demand that the policies be repealed.

A group of citizens in Spokane, Washington, called Respect Washington, started an initiative petition in 2015 (Initiative No. 2015-1) to stop the city’s illegal alien sanctuary policy which was adopted by the Spokane City Council as Ordinance Nos. C35164 and C-35167 in October, 2014.  The group is also working on a statewide “Respect for Law” initiative petition.

Some state legislatures have either passed or are considering immigration enforcement legislation too, which you can support.  For example, in early 2015, State Senator Charles Perry, R-Lubock, Texas, introduced SB 185.  SB 185 specifically allowed local law enforcement to question immigration status and share that information with federal law enforcement.  It also allowed the Texas Attorney General to investigate citizen complaints about Texas cities that have adopted sanctuary policies”.    END

George Soros and a band on other multi-rich including banks are behind the move to eventually socialize America. This can be done by Congress if the majority of Americans agree that we need to void our Constitution and Bill of Rights legally.

I for one believe enough real Americans have awakened to the move to destroy our Republic form of Democracy and elected , legally, a new President to stop this lawlessness. The new “Sheriff Trump” has amassed a “Posse” like Sessions, Tillerson, Mattis, Mattis, Mnuchin, Pruitt, Perry and Zinke just to name a few of his new cabinet to systematically make America “Great” again.

Unfortunately as I near 87 I may not be around to see these patriots destroy the movements who have openly killed the art of making things in America by regulating everything in sight. What may not be something everyone would prioritize, I hope to see all “Tree Huggers” who have had outlawed proven forest functions to keep our National Forest beautiful. Proven methods of thinning the forests has been an asset for small Counties like Sabine in East Texas where I live.

Sabine National Forest occupies some 300 square miles of the 600 square miles in Sabine County. The only revenue the Federal Government provided since inception, as they cannot be taxes for roads, schools, etc., was a portion of revenue from selling trees to lumber companies. Regulators stopped all harvesting to keep the forest prettier and then eliminated revenue sharing with local municipalities.

Dear Jeff Sessions, please stop all Federal funding to any Sanctuary entity and hopefully all Government departments will follow suit and stop all Federal funding too. Money drives everything today, unfortunately this includes our entire court system including the Supreme Court.

FACTS ARE STILL FACTS!

My friend Ron Jenkins sent me the following message and I have made some minor changes to reflect some personal feelings. I hope that all Americans will read this. This is a tragedy made by Congress to satisfy the Socialists of America. Our kids will be saddled with paying for this forever.  

The C-Span Channel that broadcasts all those Congressional hearings are boring, but you should have been around to watch the Senate Finance Committee’s hearing last month on the Affordable Healthcare Act (AHA) Insurance Oversight.

Folks, you haven’t seen so many faces of misery since you watched Les Miserable’s for three and a half hours…and they were mostly supporters of the original bill. Senator Max Baucus, was one of them and the primary sponsor of ObamaCare, in the Senate!

Nancy Pelosi was right; you had to pass ObamaCare to find out what’s in it…and we are now learning what we were warned about. It’s an unworkable mess that is throwing millions of Americans off the health care rolls! 

Information presented at the hearing reflect tens of thousands of American employers began throwing workers off their health care plans and opting to pay the much lower federal fine for not offering health care for their workers. Thousands more are even now converting their full time workers to part time workers by limiting working hours per week to less than 30, in compliance with Obama care rules.

Paul Ryan, Vice-Presidential candidate, predicted employers would do this? There is a stampede underway that will devastate the future for everyone.

We were warned that employer’s would move to save operating expenses by moving their entire work force into federal healthcare exchanges!

Now, these workers, who have lost their health care benefits, are busy trying to sign up for state health care exchanges. (There are internet sites available if your state has agreed to sign up to Obama care).

However, when these American workers, soon to be without employer provided health care, go to the Health Exchanges to sign up, they are finding they are not qualified! It seems that during the signup process, applicants are required to fill in various income and benefit data, which then flows over to IRS computers who then are to spit out what your premium costs will be and how much federal tax credits you’ll receive in order to receive subsidies to help you afford health care premiums that are as much as 30% more than you were paying under your employer’s plan!

Big Problem! The IRS is only allowing somewhere around 9% subsidy support for ObamaCare Health care Exchange premiums that are priced so much higher than the worker was paying under his employer plan!

There were warning’s that forcing working Americans to pay for the 30 million who pay nothing for their health care, under Medicaid, would drive the premiums of working Americans higher? Well, it’s now happening. 

Second Big Problem! The IRS computers won’t communicate with the Health Care Exchange computers because the IRS computer system is old and obsolete! So when workers try to sign up for Obama care the IRS, and the Health Exchanges are telling applicants they can’t process their applications.

Fireworks really broke out at the Finance Committee hearings on Obama care. Senator Max Baucus, said, “how could this happen? I’m hearing from my constituents that they and their families have been left out in the cold and are without health care because the Exchanges are not accepting them!”. Quote from Senator Bill Nelson, (Dem), Florida “my constituents are not going to be happy to hear this administration failed to implement the necessary changes to accommodate health care applicants, someone has to pay for this!” Similar outrage was professed by Senator Ron Wyden (Dem) from Oregon.

The Program Director for the Health Care Affordability Act, was on hand to lend testimony. All he could seem to do was sympathize with the Democrats that are scared, saying that maybe the problems should be ironed out by the end of 2014, but was unable to offer solutions as to how that could be done.

Recently, a Harvard University economics professor came on CNBC to announced that, according to a federally financed study his group just completed, the Health and Human Services Secretary is going to be forced to come back to this same committee and request $700 billion dollars more be allocated to ObamaCare, just to pay for those automatically covered under current federal programs. 

The Wall Street Journal reported that, in addition to the 30 million Americans not currently covered under ObamaCare, tens of millions more who will be left in the “no health care Twilight Zone”; those who were doing just fine with their employee health care plans before ObamaCare was implemented.  Many of those who were working 40 hour weeks will find themselves deemed “part time employees” and made to work less than 30 hours per week and therefore, be unable to afford the AHA’s premiums, even if they could get through the application process.

The working poor, and the rapidly declining middle class will be out in the cold, without any health care, the Medicaid/Welfare recipients will have no worry; they should be covered by that $700 billion dollar budget increase Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of Health and Human Services will be asking from Congress soon! 

Let us hope that the Affordable Healthcare Act, i.e., ObamaCare, the “Flag Ship” of the Presidents 1st term, may be in serious trouble and heading for major amendment, if not repeal. 

As we have not seen this reported on the major news programs, it appears the media moguls do not watch C-Span.

VOTING –WILL WE LOSE THIS NEXT?

It took American women nearly 150 years to be able to vote in any election. It took them less than 90 years supported by 18-21 year old idiots to elect a President that will make your vote mean nothing if he is re-elected.

President Obama has divided this great country into a class warfare society in three years. Anyone who denies this is just plain ignorant. If his accomplishments over the last three years were condensed into an unbiased historical video, every seventh grader in America would agree. Unfortunately they don’t vote and most 18-21 year olds have been brainwashed to accept Socialism or God forbid, a Marxist monarchy.

My first time to be eligible to vote for a President was in 1952. I was 22 years old, had served over 4 years in the Navy and married with two children. My concerns, along with my peers who were raised in the depression, were to vote to make sure we had employment. Americans at that time were proud of our country and fortunate that we had endured WW II and were happy to be free. We were raised to be responsible and that work was not a choice but was the American way.

What prompted me to write this article was an event this past Sunday at the local grocery store. Living in a rural area of mostly retired people like myself, local issues dominate conversations. Having served my community in a fight to save the local hospital about five years ago, some new individuals had stirred up a new controversy. Not unlike our current situation in America, people were divided on the issue.

Recently voting was concluded on electing two members of the hospital board and the battle had been unusual. Our hospital Board consists of five members who are elected for two year terms on a staggered basis. These are non paid positions expected to be filled with individuals who have business experience and provide their time as a public service. What was unusual this year was two individuals flooded the county with political signs and repeated paid political ads in our local weekly newspaper. Spending money to run for a non-paid position raised the eyebrows of many, including myself.

My visit to the grocery store involved my asking a lady clerk, whom I have know over 20 years, who won the election for the hospital Board yesterday? She had been intently interested in the previous hospital upheaval in 2007 and had discussed the issues with me at that time. I had written several article and bought ads in both hospital battles.

Her response was one that disturbs me deeply. “I do not vote anymore and really do not care who won.” I politely asked her if that included our upcoming state and national elections this year. Her response was, “yes”. Further discussion revealed that she had lost faith in voting for anyone as no one was qualified to serve anymore. I got specific and asked her opinion of Obama and Romney and she said she “could” not support Romney and “would” not vote for Obama.

This was a sad day for me personally. I was confronted with a middle aged lady who has given up on America. This is not necessarily a total shock but it opened my eyes to wonder how many other pre-65 people share her feelings? Working as a checkout clerk in a small town is not what most would consider a career and it likely pays near minimum wages. The positive aspect of this event was she is still working, instead of asking for food stamps and welfare support.

America is nearing some statistics that I never dreamed could happen. We have already reached the plateau that 49% of our citizens pay no income taxes. We have over 40% of our population drawing some form of government welfare. The percentage of the total workforce in some form of government employment has risen to historical levels and is out of control. Politicians at every level no longer serve as public servants and politics is now a career. Their objective is re-election, not protecting our freedoms from the thieves they have become. They get elected because they are black, white, Hispanic and sell their souls to the power brokers like George Soros, who fund their plunder.

If the current progressive democrats maintain control of government spending and regulatory madness for four more years, elections will be unnecessary forever. When they can assure over 50% of the voting population they will provide for them to live without having to work, who would be stupid enough to vote against them?

I suppose someone can find a silver lining under every cloud if you expand your thought process. I tried real hard and did come up with one positive thing that will happen if we make Obama and future American progressives “Kings” for life. We would not have perpetual elections on TV, radio or the newspapers.

We would have only one government controlled newspaper, propaganda on the radio and only C-Span on TV like other communists nations.

WILL ISSA INSIST ON HONESTY

This posting is a copy of an article published in Townhall 12-6-07, by Lurita Doan. It is obvious Henry Waxman used this power for political gain with no intent to bring honesty to the U. S. House of Representatives. If I am correct the people do wish to drain the swamp as Polosi promised. If Issa does not use his power to flush out the Rangel’s, Waters, Jefferson and other criminals, including republicans, and force the Justice Department to do their job instead of ignoring crimes, it will be business as usual. I am waiting to publish Part Three of my “American Royalty” series until they try Maxine Waters. We all know now that Charles Rangel is above the law or he would be in prison, he is “Royalty”.

DEMS ARE ASKING: WILL ISSA GO TOO FAR?

Many within the White House seem fearful about the intentions of Darrell Issa. As the incoming Chairman of the House Committee for Oversight and Government Reform, Issa will have full power to open investigations into government operations and questionable programs. Media expert, Howard Kurtz, knows full well the power Issa will wield, and his article in the Daily Beast asks the question that is on the minds of many Democrats: Will Darrell Issa “go too far” as the incoming Chairman of the Committee of Oversight? A superb question, for the nation was given a clear example of excessive, mean-spirited, oftentimes petty use of oversight powers by Henry Waxman.

Democrats are wondering whether Issa will behave more responsibly and focus the committee’s attention on legitimate areas of concern and poorly performing government programs, rather than on punishing political adversaries for narrow political gains as did Henry Waxman. Having worked with both congressmen, I can say that Darrell Issa is an honest patriot that actually wants government to work more efficiently. Issa knows firsthand from the Waxman years the damage that can done by an irresponsible chairman.

Henry Waxman developed the playbook for many Democrat-led show trials during the Bush Administration. The pattern was always the same because it worked brilliantly and successfully trashed the reputations of many. The most common steps in the Waxman playbook are to leak information to the mainstream media, issue “invitations” to hearings based on the media coverage, refuse to meet with the government officials prior to the hearing, verbally attack family members of the witness, exclude the Minority members from meetings, hold hearings on a topic slightly different than what is cited in the “invitation’ so the witness isn’t fully prepared, have each Majority member spend the five minutes of Q&A making bombastic statements that use all but 30 seconds of the time allocated so that the witness is unable to completely rebut the accusations and, cite testimony and evidence as proof, which neither the witness nor the Minority committee members have had time or access to review. In short, Waxman perfected the modern day kangaroo court and served as its master of ceremonies.

Waxman didn’t care a fig about ferreting out poorly performing programs and wasteful spending. Indeed, many participants in his show trials tried, in vain, to provide Waxman with background data that he simply did not understand nor was interested in learning. Instead, Waxman’s focus was the propaganda value of the show trials he orchestrated.

Considerable effort was put into capturing C-Span and private video tapings which were then carefully edited by the Majority to control the public’s impression of the hearing. These edited segments, which omitted facts Waxman was eager to suppress, but advanced favorite Democratic attack lines, were then placed on You Tube. Thus, with some backhanded editing and misdirection, Democrat loyalists of Henry Waxman gained valuable free ads to use in their campaign commercials —all at taxpayer expense.

But it important to note that a Waxman oversight committee lynching, a true circus, also depended on a compliant victim, often too astounded at the brazen daring of ill-informed committee members, and often, under the illusion that the hearing was about finding out facts.

The compliant victim is often unwilling to fully expose the ignorance of congressmen, especially the chairman, whom the witness often believes deserves respect due to the office. And, the members, in turn, are counting on the civility of the witness to ensure that their ignorance will never be exposed. How can Americans tell when one of these kinds of show trials is occurring? Here’s another clue.

You will see a congressional staffer scuttling behind committee members with little slips of paper on which questions have been written. Remember, the members haven’t read the material, so the Majority staff often distributes comments, questions and talking points for the member to parrot. Like many Americans, Darrel Issa became appalled and disgusted with Henry Waxman’s dishonest kangaroo courts.

No doubt, too, as he now assumes the job as Majority Leader, Issa hopes to raise the bar and provide the nation with a more responsible example of how the Oversight Committee conducts itself under his leadership.

I expect great things from Issa’s committee and am hopeful that, at long last, we can watch a congressional hearing and take pride in our democracy in action. After all, aggressive oversight is important to protect the American taxpayer and ensure that taxpayer dollars are spent well. But, oversight which relies on bullying and manipulating facts is abusive, un-American, and shameful.

So that may be why the White House is nervous. Obama and his staff are likely worried that the same kangaroo court mentality that Henry Waxman used to unfairly bludgeon the Bush Administration will be continued by Darell Issa.

I understand the fear, but Obama can relax. Congressman Issa is a better man then Henry Waxman.
