My friend Ron Jenkins shared this message with Campaign glass pictures I deleted to not enrage these poor mistreated merchants of manufactured news. Poor babies have to suffer the pain of flying first class on the airlines as Tillerson has decided to save the tax payers some money. What a refreshing new approach to Washington’s waste filled life of the “Rich and Famous”. If you feel sorry for these VIP’s don’t waste my time telling me.

The Story

A Reuters filing en route to Asia showcases the bitterness, anger and seething rage of U.S. journalists who have been forced to fly First-Class Commercial to cover Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s Asia trip.

State Department correspondents are used to the exclusive wide-body private charters of the U.S. federal government’s airline fleet.  Previous heads of the Department of State have flown aboard Air Force 3.  Normally a Boeing 757.  At the very worst Air Force 3 would be a C17 Globemaster.

However, T-Rex is taking a smaller jet to Asia and only one journalist accompanies him.  To make matters exponentially worse, T-Rex did not select a journalist from the corporate stable of the refined and pedigreed media elites.

We can only imagine how Andrea Mitchell must be seething at having to take simple first-class commercial flight accommodations with ordinary people.  The scope of the almost unimaginable horror she has to face will soon pour from her pursed and vengeful lips.  We can predict a retaliatory report soon from the wrath of the ignored elitist within NBC.  This shall be, as they say, epic.

Secretary Tillerson has rebuked customs and norms.  The traveling correspondents will have to pass through customs and passport checks as if they are ordinary travelers.  There is a very real possibility no-one will recognize them or care diligently for their very individual and specific needs.

Can you imagine Mrs. Alan Greenspan flying all the way to Asia from the Eastern Seaboard and having to do that on a commercial flight?  My God, have we really dropped our standards of decency that far…

Air Force 3 – Not being used by T-Rex

Oh yeah, the pontificating journalist elites are pi**ed off.   After traveling with every possible indulgence aboard exclusive State Department accommodations with Secretary Clinton and Secretary Kerry, you cannot even fathom how angry they are right now without private dining, DoS chefs, shaved chocolates and Cristal mimosas.

None of this is me joking.  This bunch of snobs having to fly commercial is unheard of.

They are ready to tear into Secretary Tillerson in every single filed report.  Just watch what you see on TV:

(Reuters) U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is traveling to Asia this week accompanied by only one reporter, a White House correspondent from the Independent Journal Review (IJR), a digital news outlet founded in 2012 by former Republican political operatives.

The IJR said in a statement late Tuesday the State Department last week offered one of its reporters, Erin McPike, a place aboard the Secretary’s aircraft on his trip this week to Asia.

The State Department had previously told reporters covering Tillerson’s trip to South Korea, Japan, and China that he would not be taking reporters on his plane and that they would have to fly commercially, breaking with decades of precedent stretching back to Henry Kissinger.

Major news organizations complained, among them the BBC, CNN, New York Times, Washington Post and Reuters.

The State Department Correspondents Association, which represents reporters who cover U.S. diplomacy, said in a statement that it was “disappointed” Tillerson chose to travel to Asia without a full contingent of media “or even a pool reporter”.

“After saying it was unable to accommodate press on the Secretary’s plane to Asia due to space and budget constraints, the State Department offered a unilateral seat to one reporter,” the statement said.

“Several of our members have traveled commercially to meet Secretary Tillerson on the ground in Asia. We expect that the diplomatic press corps will be afforded access to Secretary Tillerson equal to that given to the reporter on the plane.”

A spokesman for IJR, Matt Manda, did not immediately respond to a request for comment on whether McPike would file pool reports to colleagues, or whether IJR had any comment on the SDCA’s statement.

For decades, secretaries of state have nearly always invited media to travel with them. In rare cases, particularly late in a secretary’s tenure, some outlets have declined the invitations, such as for former Secretary John Kerry’s December 2016 trip to Saudi Arabia.

Republican secretaries of state Alexander Haig, George Shultz, James Baker, and Condoleezza Rice routinely took 10 or more journalists on their overseas trips, even to conflict zones such as Lebanon and Central America.

Up through Tuesday, just hours before Tillerson was scheduled to leave, the State Department declined to confirm whether there would be any reporters on Tillerson’s plane.

Acting State Department spokesman Mark Toner said in a phone briefing with reporters on Tuesday that the agency was considering “having a seat available” on his plane.

“We’ve been very clear, frankly, that this is a smaller footprint all around, and this is the Secretary’s decision, to travel with a smaller footprint,” Toner said. “To some degree, it’s a cost-saving measure.”  (read more)

The rest of the article is Reuters tearing into IJR for having the audacity to accept a seat on the flight with T-Rex.   This is like High School mean girls taken to exponential levels of vitriol and hatred.

This is going to be ugly.  Very, very ugly.   ANON

The left wing-nuts keep asking for specifics on how to reduce the debt and the biased media ignores the specifics when they are actually available. Try the following facts and specifically notice that Social Security and the military are NOT on this list. Remember these when you watch the debate tonight and match these with Biden’s tax increases. C Brewer

My original plan was to review our government’s management of the US Postal Service (USPS), Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and Amtrak for its business successes.  After reading thousands of pages and many hours on the Internet I came to the conclusion that none existed. The posting last week suggested we might sell the postal service to Wal-Mart. I had planned this second article on exploring the possible sale of the USPS to say China.

My conclusion is that at this time it is highly unlikely that it would be possible to give the USPS away. It was just announced that the Obama 2012 budget has an $11,000,000,000.00 increase over 2011. It is estimated that the USPS will exceed its 2011 budget alone by over $8,000,000,000.00. The Postmaster General has predicted that the USPS will face a budget deficit of $239,000,000,000.00 over the next ten years even if services are reduced.

My reading provided me the facts that the postal service prior to 1971 required no taxpayer support of government subsidies. Facts indicate that the USPS was fairly well managed for its first 200 years. When you look at the last 40 years, something bad happened. I can’t even find the annual total costs of operating the USPS, the only facts that appear are how much they will lose. I am certain if I had a couple of weeks to peruse the Federal Budget I could possibly come close. To those who are critical of this missing the total figure, send me the number and I will post a revision. It really does not matter to anyone with a pinch of common sense if they understand the number one principle of business.

“If your expenses exceed your revenue something’s wrong.”

The US Congress along with the Judicial and Executive branches of our government are controlled by lawyers. When you think of it, our lives are controlled by well educated people who spent many years in our colleges and universities that have to become elected officials and lobbyist as they can’t find another job. The only business educated people in Washington are the staff support to the elected. To make the situation worse you are required to agree with the elected to keep your job. The recent disclosure of the average salaries of those in Washington D.C., compared to the average salaries elsewhere, prove my point. It is shameful that we have created this situation. Is anyone really ready to correct the problem? I am.

Let me create a business scenario to make some comparisons that a moron will understand. First we have to hire a lawyer to file incorporation papers and appoint a Board of Directors. Next we have to prepare a business plan and sell stock to capitalize the venture. To make it simple our plan is to provide toilet cleaning services. We will need vehicles, mops, brooms, rags, detergents and people to do the actual work. We estimate the wages, materials, operational and overhead expense and price our services to make a 10% profit. We become an immediate success and everyone is happy.

Every few years the government mandates a raise in the minimum wages, greedy employee’s vote to have a union and demand increases in wages, healthcare and pension benefits that costs more than the profit the company distributes to the shareholders. The next thing management does is just raise prices to absorb the new labor and fringe benefits demanded by the union. The competition has no unions to pay and you lose all of your customers. Unless the Board of Directors make major management changes the company folds and everyone is hurt but the union.

The USPS had this happen when our government allowed the employees to unionize some 40 years ago. FEDEX saw the opportunity to enter the shipping business and UPS and others worldwide joined the action that has stripped most of the USPS shipping revenue. Next Al Gore invented the Internet and “E” mail has reduced the amount of mail significantly. The Postmaster General just announced that letter carriers will deliver 150 billion pieces of mail in 2020. That is 26 billion less than they delivered in 2010.

The basic difference is that there is no competition for the USPS for basic mail delivery. They can increase prices at their will and/or just force the government to provide more of your and my money to survive. They have appointed a Board of Trustees, not elected, by the people. They can spend what they desire and we will pay whatever they ask for. Congress is the primary reason we have a government managed postal service and probably why it operates out of control.

What we can do next November is to vote the entire Congress out of office and start all over from scratch. Maybe the newly elected politicians would sell or give away the USPS. Just in projected figures from the Postmaster General it would save us at least $23,900,000,000.00 a year.

Remember the basic principle of business and that we are the shareholders that pay for all losses. I can tell you for certain that if Management (USPS) and the Board of Directors (Congress) lost money for over 40 straight years intelligent business shareholders (We the people) should have made significant changes a long time ago. Remember the fiasco when the federal government became owners of a brothel and bar a few years ago. It went belly up as they could not make a profit selling sex and whiskey, legally in Nevada. We allow them to manage the USPS, TVA and Amtrak and lose every year. Why?

Go to the website for them in the link below and sure enough, on the right side of the page, there is an application for food assistance PDF file in English, Spanish and Arabic!
Have we gone completely nuts!!?

Many Muslims have immigrated into the U.S. and brought their 2-3-or 4 wives with them, but the U.S. does not allow multi marriages, so the man lists one
wife as his, and signs the other 2 or 3 up as extended family on
welfare and other free Government programs!
Michigan has the highest population of Muslims in the Unites States.
When President Obama took office the United States paid several
millions of dollars to have a large number of Palestinians, (All
Muslim), immigrated here from Palestine. Why? I have no idea, do you!
We don’t pay for other persons to immigrate here, and I’m sure
that some of those Muslims moved into Michigan with the large current
number of Muslims already established there.
So now in Michigan when you call the Public Assistance office you are
told to “Press 1 for English. Press 2 for Spanish, or Press 3 for
Every time you add a new language to an American program it requires
an additional number of persons fluent in that language to process
those persons who refuse to learn English in order to live here at an
additional cost to the taxpayer! Why are we even allowing persons to
immigrate here who cannot provide for themselves, and putting them in
our welfare system?
Press 3 for Arabic ..
This is quite alarming!!! This seems to have happened clandestinely,
for, as far as I know, no public announcement, or opportunity to vote
on this was offered to the American people. They’re just adopting
an official stance, and very likely using tax-payer money for it, in
various capacities, without public knowledge or approval.
The following link takes you into the State of Michigan Public
Assistance page, (as in Food Stamps etc). You won’t have to
scroll far before you see the assistance-letters options for…(get
this)….._ English, Spanish, and ARABIC !!!
When did the ARABIC option sneak into our culture? Will we soon have
to listen to our governmental offices, stores, and other venues offer
us the option of “pressing 3 for ARABIC?”

Check it out for yourself.

They can’t wait until the public calms down to use other ways to deceive the folks about wasteful spending. Regardless of how many devious ways to waste money to get re-elected are exposed, they will find others. One new republican Senator discovered a method with little exposure as a way to hide extortion type pressure from being associated with him even before the election. Chicago style politics seems to have no party affiliation with even republicans being sent to prison.

Senator Mark Kirk R-Illinois won the Senate seat that Obama vacated to run for President. During his campaign he stated that he would oppose Speaker of the House, Nancy Polisi’s trillion-dollar stimulus plan. He along with many other republicans squealed loudly about pork-barrel spending and the use of designating money for special projects via “earmarks”.

Mr. Kirk understood political pressure, for example, he sent a letter to the Department of Education on September 10, 2009, asking the release of money “needed to support students and educational programs” in a local school district. The New York Times (NYT) obtained a copy of the letter from the Citizens Against Government Waste group that had obtained the copy under the Freedom of Information Act. The Woodland School District 50 later received $1,100,000.00 in stimulus funds.

The NYT reported that his spokeswoman, Susan Kuczka, reported, “Senator-elect Kirk became the first member of the Appropriations Committee to stop requesting earmarks and voted against the stimulus bill. He has and will continue to be an advocate for his Illinois constituents before administration agencies but will not request Congressional earmarks to be included in House or Senate legislation.”

Watch the weasel words as he made no mention that he would not use the alternatives of lettermarking or phonemarking which are alternatives to hide themselves from the spending. Let me show you how. Lettermarking which takes place outside the Congressional appropriations process is another way to let the Congressperson provide money back home and the money comes from the budgets approved for that government agency. I am sure that a Congressperson would not include money for that agency in the preparation of their annual budget. If you believe that, I have some swamp land you may want to buy!

Phonemarking is where the lawmaker calls an agency requesting money for a home district or State for specific projects. They should be called soft-earmarks which is merely suggesting that money be used for home projects or Hard-earmarks where they demand that funds be available for their district/State.

These are not new scams as they have been used for years. If we did this it would be called bribery or fraud. Both Presidents Bush and Obama issued Executive Orders to all government agencies to not finance pet projects requested from a Congressperson. Anyone out there really believe they actually stopped the practice? Would you say no to the people who approve your budget? No one would be that stupid.

Representative Jeff Flake R-Arizona sees merit in banning all of these practices. He has raised the issue with the new Speaker of the House, John Boehner who has not committed to banning all types of  soft/hard earmarks.

Soft earmarks accounted for billions of dollars in 2006, the last year they were examined, according to the Congressional Research Service. It sort of makes you wonder why but remember they will find another way regardless. In 2006 most were in spending bills for the State Department, US Agency for International Development and other foreign aid programs. Maybe these billions would have prevented the unemployment situation we have today!

Let me share just one example of how these pet projects are forced on the government agency. The 2010 military bill contained $2,500,000,000.00 for more C-17 transport aircraft; $825,000,000.00 for all-terrain vehicles; $732,000,000.00 for other airplanes and $500,000,000.00 for a second engine for the F-35 aircraft. The Pentagon did not request these funds and did not desire to spend the money. I wonder why it was there, do you?

Taxpayers for Common Sense found 146 such undisclosed earmarks totaling nearly $6,000,000,000.00 in 2010 spending bills.

You will find some more interesting things in my AMERICAN ROYALTY-PART 5 next Tuesday 1-4-11.

Let me leave you with a question. Do you really think that 2011 will see major change to the waste we are watching? I do not. Bring on a third-party to change Washington. The last time this happened was when Lincoln was elected and sadly it produced the Civil War, read your history, I did.
