America’s Biggest Enemy Today….America!

The political divide we have in America today is the most serious event that has reared its ugly head in my 88 years of being born a free American male. Until the uprising between Americans began, because of the war in Vietnam, America had normal instead of serious problems with race, equality and even immigration issues. Internal issues have been the major reason for every country failure that has happened in history. At this point America’s second Civil War preparations actually are underway with programmed events that seem to force the hatred and increased civil disobedience in far too many places. States and Cities are now openly ignoring Federal Laws and inciting citizens to destroy property and maim or kill each other.

America’s first internal battle with itself was the Civil War in the 1860’s. Approximately 620,000 soldiers died from combat, accident, starvation, and disease during America’s first Civil War with itself to settle the Slavery issue. Even with the war, no outside country attempted to attack America during its recovery. The saddest thing happening again is the division of families where brothers and sisters detest their fathers/mothers and even other brothers/sisters. The scariest fact is that this had not happened again in my lifetime until the mainstream media started fanning the fires to incite civil strife, assisted by Government employees leaking fake news and hoping for open warfire now.

I have grandchildren and possibly other family that have no desire to be associated or let great grandchildren even know I exist because of political beliefs. That’s “HATE”.

I am not alone and wish to share an exchange between a friend and his son who shall remain unknown. These exchanges show how diverse politics can be. Unfortunately one can see the hope for a Trump failure and the wisdom of the father hoping to calm diverse feelings.

EXCHANGES

Son.. Today has been quite a whirlwind day for the Trump inner circle. Two close, former allies, admitting and being convicted by a jury, of federal crimes.

Dad.. Messrs Cohen and Manafort convicted!  Do their convictions change what I think about POTUS?

I never thought Trump was a choir boy or someone who preferred sack cloth to Harris tweed.

As an “entrepreneur” and world class business person, it is unlikely that he had no skeletons in his closet.

As someone who was on the verge of building a grand hotel in Moscow, he made all sorts of connections with Russians.  And, one assumes, that he knew or should have known, that these Russian connections were most likely agents of the KGB or whatever the alphabet soup of Soviet security organizations that are included in the KGB orbit.

His decision to run for the Presidency was a known risk, that he decided to take.

What drives a man like “The Donald”?  Ambition, ego, greed and all the rest of the flaws that a businessman would collect, in an effort to make and keep a million or a billion dollars!  What I think is that more than 60 million American voters pulled the lever for him despite his flaws and baggage. Has he made mistakes, well duh!!

What did we expect….the perfection of political correctness?

How many political friends or insiders did he know or have as friends, during his business career and how many appointments did he have to make to populate his government?  He had to rely upon the advice and counsel of others, almost exclusively to make hundreds of appointments, of people he didn’t know. That’s what happens when someone from outside the Washington Swamp gets elected, to try and drain some of the contaminated water, he quickly finds himself in chest deep. He appointed Jeff  Sessions as AG as a reward for prior support and loyalty; however, that was not a good decision. Sessions should now resign, before Trump is forced to fire him. The reason Sessions cited for recusing himself was inappropriate, as was the basis for his action, because there was no conflict of interest.

If he remains healthy, i’ll be amazed. The pressure on him to say and do the right things at every occasion, at every meeting, at every opportunity, must be overwhelming.  Yet, he volunteered! No one pushed him, other than his own alter-ego!! As for Manafort, specifically, his convictions were well deserved. However, the crimes were for activities well before he joined the Trump team & very late in the campaign. As for the lawyer, well, I don’t have a lot of respect for the legal profession, to start with and even less after he squealed like a trapped rat and bargained for his life.

Son.. The implications for POTUS are horrible. This is not gloating at all.

Dad.. Let me assume you’re referring to the possibility of the Republicans losing its majority’s in the Congress?

That seems to be the driving force for every living Democrat and, the logical extension from that, is an effort to impeach him out of office. Nothing has changed in my view of what was once the concept of a “Loyal Opposition”.

In American politic’s. The daggers have been out for him since before his inauguration; sour grapes and animus are now the face of the Democrat Party. The hatred for him is palpable in the national media that echoes throughout acountry and, prodded by biased political pundits who were so unbelievably irate that they were so wrong. Whatever happened to the concept of “keeping your mouth shut, if you can’t say anything positive!”?  I have to walk out of the room whenever whiney Chuck Schumer reads another hateful diatribe against the man. The not so loyal opposition is trying to undo an election because they can’t believe and won’t accept, that their highly flawed candidate wasn’t anointed as their ideological savior.

Son.. I really would like to know your thoughts…..do you still see Trump in the same way?

Dad.. What way is that?  My basic opinion hasn’t changed because I started out with no illusions and knowing he was a mortal man with foibles & flaws. I knew that he would be torpedoed by holdovers from previous administrations and the increasingly corrupt FBI, CIA and DIA.  I feel sorry for those Americans who can’t accept that Trump beat a bad candidate for the highest office in the land. The nation needed someone to try and undue some of the damage that BHO had done to the country and to our standing in the world. Obama’s actions to disarm our military, suck up to Socialist/Communist regimes and apologize for being  the greatest nation in a hard and cruel world, were just some of what Trump promised to undo. Hear, Hear!!

Son.. Are his indiscretions and those close to him, i.e., Cohen, his long-time fixer, important to you?

Dad.. Not really!!  I have concern that the Democrats will now intensify their opposition to Trump’s SCOTUS nominee, Justice Kavanaugh.

The collective naiveté expressed by the fawning press, is as disgusting as usual.  I am usually not inclined to justify bad behavior by citing similar behavior by others. Just as other people have been toppled from their lofty perches, those less powerful, less successful, enjoy chipping away at the top dog; it’s an example of what the Aussies call the “Tall Poppy” syndrome”. In other words, they enjoy cutting the big dog down to size; it’s fast becoming our national pastime.

Son.. You have been very quiet lately, since the clearance issue has come up. Thoughts?

Dad.. Yes, a few! I appreciate you asking. Believe it or not, I have a few other interests beyond national politics. Here at “God’s Waiting Room”, we have lost several good friends lately and I have been attending memorials, as well as getting ready to teach my Refresher Course in Contract Bridge.

One of the reasons we have so many differences we have slowly removed many ways we used in the past to make sure the next generation had a historical education of the past. Just in my lifetime we have slowly phased out the older phases of American history and today we have few historians left and have nearly phased out both American as well any State history. This was not accidental, it was planned, programed over 100 years ago by President Teddy Roosevelt and has been perpetuated, paid for and performed by the Progressives who have never worried openly about how long it would take to Socialize America. For the first time in my life Socialism is supported by 30% of American voters.

The only American alive today with the Gonads to stop the race to socialize America is Trump. The Progressives know this and fear him more than Putin or any other world leader. They know if he can be eliminated America can be neutralized without ever firing a shot. Watching this self-destruction in action is painful.

POLITICS – DESTROYING AMERICA FROM WITHIN!

I waited until Easter Sunday to publish this hoping someone can explain why most leaders are causing this horrible event and fighting our President, Donald Trump from trying to heal the wounds. Our media has now become the trash and supporter of hate, up-evil and every way they can cause damage, destruction and even death for others. Our Congress is rotten, the Judiciary system is rife with political power that overrides the law even at the Supreme Court. Every day the two largest political organizations draw lines in the sand for battle and the only man trying to heal all of the wounds is being made the most hated man in America and he is the only leader trying to stop the hate and “Make America Great Again”. Someone one please tell me “WHY,WHY,WHY”.  For Gods Sake folks will there ever be another chance before “Civil War Two?

One of my grandsons and some of his friends sent me some unique thoughts about politics. As many people who read my articles know I am sick of 24/7/365 where politics has taken over the media and only major tragedies and the weather interrupt constant politics. These young men have been having forums and debates and allowed me to use these issues to frame my thoughts.

The First issue they agreed on was “every politician is a corporate whore”. I can’t disagree in full but there are a few, who try hard to blaze new trails but the seniority power system is so powerful they have little or no voice. Unless they have been in Congress  for 24 years they are just followers. Congress, an astute body of elected officials, believe they are “royalty”. One of President Trump’s greatest challenges will be to convince these people they work for the people instead of being Rulers of anyone but themselves. Basically they believe they are above the law, like Charles Rangel, who would get re-elected if he was in prison or dead. The people know he is a crook but who cares if he steals and cheats for them too.

The second issue they discussed was, “campaign finance law basically exists to be super vague to keep out 3rd parties and disguise or totally hide where all politicians money is coming from”. “They feel that only the politicians themselves truly know who each they owe favors to. They concluded that it has to be far more people, usually a lot of people. The consensus was it was definitely influencing policy. They agreed that with Donald Trump we know exactly where his money comes from and it will be difficult for army of lobbyist/backers to be able to manipulate Trump. They concluded that this is reflected in some policy positions he has promised, like the changes to the tax code to close loopholes, that he knows as well as anyone, because he’s used them himself for decades. This analogy by these young men is impressive and zeros in on many of the changes that must be made to give them the freedoms and opportunity  I have enjoyed for nearly 88 years.

The third issue they had consensus was the traits of successful leaders. Their discussions ranged a historical figure you admire, to a great coach and the leaders including they have studied and they really admired. They typically singled out those who are straightforward and honest with their people. They admired the ones who speak their mind and stand up for what they believe in, are open minded but firm in their convictions, and tend to shine when making difficult decisions.

Sadly they see that today the traits necessary to be a politician are directly opposite. They concluded that to be a successful politician today you have to be covert in expressing your true thoughts and motives when they’re controversial instead of providing people what they really want. They believe politicians purposely avoid tough decisions like the plague and only stand for what no one is opposed to. As an example look at political debates, most of the politicians evade direct responses to every questions. Most just talk and talk and say nothing. Trump has no trouble expresses himself legitimately to say exactly what he thinks. They feel he seems honest, even when what he expresses is unexpected. He has no concerns that some people aren’t going to like what he has to say. They conclude that Trump answers every question in the debates, with refreshing responses.

It appears that the consensus agreed that Trump is open minded. Even though Trump was once a Democrat, just like I was, now he’s running as a  Republican They feel he’s still very liberal on a large number of issues and I can’t agree with their term “very liberal. I am about four paces to the right of Attila-the-Hun but Trump’s promise to clean up the Washington swamp is worth allowing some liberal flexibility.

They feel the Comedy Central roast proved he was a good sport about it. He’s clearly capable of laughing at himself, which implies he’s aware he may be wrong at times. Any honest person will admit they are not perfect

These young men don’t think he’s racist at all, though he’s definitely more worried about terrorism than they feel is warranted. This is one point where they are completely wrong. I agree with their assessment that he is brash and they are not interested in having him as a friend.

They feel that George W. Bush seemed like a genuinely nice guy and we invaded two countries, Obama seems like a genuinely nice guy and NSA spying and drone strikes are at an all time high. Maybe being a nice guy isn’t that important to running a country. In reality both Bush and Obama are Progressives but Bush is not as socialistic as Obama.

I agree with their conclusion that Trump has been the victim of gotcha journalism and misquotation or out of context quotation by both the Demoncrats and the GOP. We agree that most politicians don’t like what he really stands for as the entire Washington cabal is so scared they are shaking in their boots.

Another issue has been his statements that made the front page recently on the internet that were wildly misrepresented. He was asked specifically about ISIS’ ability to recruit online and was talking about trying to take steps to limit that. To me it was obvious from what he said that he doesn’t know much about the Internet, but to me what he said about “get with Bill Gates” that was so heavily mocked here was pretty clear in context, that he was saying he wants to meet with experts in the field and see what our options are. As much as he has been ripped they thought he was making a point mentioning Gates. Trump knows Bill Gates politically, and how liberal he is, and I think was implying it’s a non-partisan issue and showing the angle they’d take, which was what the next line mocking people crying about freedom of speech was about. Trump knows Bill Gates is the last guy on earth who would want to filter the Internet and restrict freedom, that’s his point in dropping his name.

They seem far more concerned with the similar statements, from a more informed position, that Hillary and Obama have already made concerning freedoms and spying on the Internet.

My grandson, Landon Miller, provided me with the feelings of a group of young men in their late 20’s. I hope Landon will give any credits to others by listing them in comments after this article is posted. Although they may be neophytes, they show some real courage and challenge that really surprised this old man. I have never tried to influence my children, grandchildren or great grandchildren politically but to be the best at whatever they choose to do with their lives. All of them are not aligned with me totally and I served over five years in the US military defending their, mine and every Americans rights to free speech and political leanings.  C Brewer

This article was written over two years ago and I had decided to wait a while to publish it. I would challenge these young men  to get together and see if they still have the same feelings and outlooks today. If they accept I will publish unedited as a part two to the subject.

It would interesting to have some young liberals express their comments and possibly send me why they disagree with this message. I will also post their comments unedited. My intent to get both sides of the issues as America is being destroyed from within. This is sad to watch for this old man who has seen America work together in World War ll and then start the destruction movement in the 1960’s with the Clinton’s and other dissidents stirred up by Communists Professors in our universities.  C Brewer

HOW DO YOU FEEL?

POLITICS & JUSTICE STINKS!

Watching politics fairly early in my life has progressed from civil discourse into what we have today, a lying, race baiting   “Blood Sport”.  The one fact that has not changed is the Democrats continue to win elections with votes from the poor, ill informed, aliens and the minorities who never gain stature. In my lifetime, I grew up in the 1930’s, when 98% of Americans had nothing and 2% had everything. There was no middle class that we saw bloom in the years after WWII. The sad part is that the other group I described above stayed poor by design to mass vote for the Democrats.

When I was a young man the Conservatives were the Democrats in Texas. My grandfather was a local Democrat serving as a County Clerk for some 30 years. He took me as a boy to sit in a courtroom and observe the the legal process. Later in life I went to school with the daughter of a Democratic Governor of Texas. Both my grandfather and  Governor Jester would turn over in their graves if they could see how the Democrats have changed. Today they are the party of hate, deception, lying, promoters of civil disruption and property destruction.

When Obummer was elected President conservatives were deeply disappointed as the Democrats have been since Trump was elected. The difference was that conservatives did not promote hate, organize civil disobedience and widely promote destruction of other people’s property. We did not see marches in the streets, flag burning, and the mass hysteria of hate directed towards our veterans by kneeling or fist waving during the playing of our National Anthem at sporting events.

The Obummer years did produce the 300% increase in our national debt. More hate and civil unrest between Americans since the Civil War. A shift of people’s retirement savings from the middle class to welfare programs. Addition of over 2,000,000 more younger people on Social Security. The largest increase in underemployed people on welfare in history. The largest increase in Government Employees in history. The destruction of all industry retirement programs. The total destruction of employee healthcare benefits for new employees. A healthcare debacle that will bankrupt America if it can’t be modified.

The Demoncrats has declared war on gun ownership and promote that all guns be confiscated by the government. This has been tried before and actually allowed Hitler to destroy over 6,000,000 humans. Gun control in Europe will just make the takeover by the Muslims easier. We have opened floodgates for the immigration of Muslims who hate us and will never assimilate as Americans that is ruining Europe already.

The enemy we have in the biggest war we have ever faced today is our own Government. We now have a Supreme Court and Federal Judges who make laws instead of enforcing the laws enacted by Congress. We have made Government employees super America who have benefits far better than the rest of us. We have thousands of ex-government employees serving as consultants, lobbyist who have millions to use to buy their ways to impact every decision made by Congress and every level of our government including the Judicial process.

Mr Trump defined this morass as a swamp. The unique happening of trying to drain this swamp is 100% of the Demoncrats in Congress oppose anything Trump proposes including lower taxes, better healthcare and creation of more jobs. The real surprise has been the handful of Republicans like John McCain and the rest of the Republicans in Name Only, RINO’s, who have been exposed as Liberal-Progressives. If the Republicans can’t unite it will delay the “Swamp Draining” until the 2018 elections and the Republicans purge itself of RINO’s.

I may not live long enough to see how Trump finishes the things he promised but I hope and pray he is not assassinated like others who tried before him. I hope he forces a vote on term limits on Congress and some way to oust Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices that openly make law instead of enforcing it.

Trump has tried to enact everything he proposed as a candidate and promised as our 45th President. If the Democrats had any intelligence they would admit they just serve to say “NO” and let Trump fail. The reason for the battle is they know he has the votes now to eventually do everything he promised. “DUMB” is the best way to describe a Democrat today. It is pretty obvious they know who owns the most weapons and ammo and if a civil war Obummer wanted is their objective they better hope they are bulletproof.

PROTESTING – THE NEW AMERICA!

I DETEST THESE DISRUPTIONS DO YOU?????

Every Monday morning the news programs scan the country for hours reporting “Protest”. This morning we have to watch over and over the Puerto Rico supporters  have parades honoring some terrorist that destroyed property and the killing of people in the name of  something they never identified.

Next we watched protest and counter-protest all over America regarding Sharia Law, the most regressive form of anti-freedom in any civilized society.

Next we watched a sitting supposed lady Senator Gillibrand from New York actually curse our sitting President on national television. This has become a new form of civility for the children of America to see someone who should be a role model for our youth crawl into the gutter to make a hate-filled point. I hope before the day is over we have someone from Christianity demand that this “Slut-mouthed” so called lady resign. Likely won’t happen as she is so powerful there is too much fear to call her what she is.

We watch debates in Congress and news specials about our crumbling infrastructure, especially bad bridges, pot hole infested roads and neglected parks. Unfortunately Congress does nothing any more but debate and do nothing, Can you imagine how much improvement could result if these professional protesters would volunteer to improve the infrastructure needs with their wasted labor protesting. This would allow them to protest by improving instead of destroying property. Cleaning up a neglected park to protest something would be so much more positive than breaking out windows or looting neighborhood stores.

Why our Congress persons or the hate-filled media clowns who promote violence with their twisted messages can’t come up with positive suggestions to help America baffles me. We need a new approach and new programs to honor people who actually do things to help our society. A program to honor military actions each week that have helped improve or protect our freedoms. This might change some opinions of the young people who seem to hate military service.

I have watched this country struggle with a depression, survive a world war, serve in our military, lose a war and go down the toilet with hippies and now become the protest capital of the world. This is quite a trip in my nearly 87 years.

I sadly watched this destruction of freedoms dissident  Americans to punish other Americans for some of the most idiotic reasons possible.

What really baffles and upsets me is “WHY”. There is not one of the 535 members in Congress who could explain why. We have a new President elected by the people who not only is trying to wake up America he is having to fight at least 500 of the elected individuals who are supposed to be leaders. Using an old phrase I have used many times our current Congress could not escape from a paper sack if both ends were open. Debate would never agree of which end to emerge so they would just stay in the bag forever. On second thought this might be better if the invited the negative media to join them.   C Brewer  June 12, 2017

HEALTH CARE – WHAT ARE YOUR SUGGESTIONS?

I received this interesting suggested plan to apply to healthcare to both make it affordable and effective. I have read this several times and it motivated me to see if anyone of the some 700 people who will receive this will take the time to share dialog. I will withhold my suggestions for the first time ever and see if;

a. Does anyone even read this? It is short and someone took their time to at least get involved, will you? I expect to receive maybe five comments to share with others. If five do respond it will be the most to take time to share their views since I decided to put up rather shut up six years ago.

b. If anyone will take the time to express their thoughts about this proposal in writing? Making comments to anything I post is simple and easy.

c. The Internet is the greatest tool man has ever had to learn, opine, and help others evaluate anything. If you take the time to respond to this article you actually might motivate one or more people to get involved. When people get involved they will also learn.

I have written over 1100 articles that are available free to inform, challenge and hopefully help improve our ability to communicate with each other. America is now divided more than it has ever been in my nearly 87 years. The hate, damage and destruction of other Americans property, violent protest, prohibiting others to express their views and actually maiming and killing for political reasons is unacceptable to normal people worldwide.  I receive nothing for the hours I spend reading and writing but self-satisfaction. If I have challenged others to peacefully get involved, I have helped.

I have no idea who compiled these proposed changes to improve our healthcare debacle but I appreciate their attempt to propose another thought for us to ponder. Congress will never have consensus on anything again. The “Left” at this point would never agree that our blood is “Red”, that the White House is “White” or that a bluebird is “Blue”. Schumer would protest motherhood if the media provided him free face time to spout his hate filled dialog.  GOD SAVE AMERICA  C Brewer

PROPOSED HEALTHCARE SYSTEM!

  1. If we get rid of insurance systems, market forces will help contain the rising cost of healthcare. But in respectable/civilized societies, letting people die because they can’t afford healthcare is inhumane. So, some form of efficient healthcare support is needed.
  2. A single-payer system run by the government might be good from control and cost perspective, but this doesn’t address the potential for fraud and inefficiency.

Keeping these points in mind, we propose the following framework:

  1. Two percent of all income gets deducted and put in a personal account (similar to Health Savings Account currently in use). Because US median income is about $55,000, this will mean roughly $1100 per earning member.
  2. No specific insurance company-negotiated rates for any medical procedure/medicine/consultancy will be allowed. All providers must list the price for their products and services open
  3. When you need medical care/products/services, you can get it from whomever/wherever you like anywhere in the country. Expenses will be paid from the 2% account mentioned above until it is fully drained. At the end of the year, if it still has funds left, it is given back to the individuals. This will make sure people use coverage carefully and the providers who provide good quality services at low cost thrive.
  4. Once that account is drained, the healthcare system will kick in and pay for all additional coverage at 98% rate. The remaining 2% will still be paid by the individual user of the service. This will ensure that all needed coverage is available without bankrupting individuals while the 2% cost share by users will ensure that there is still a small cost (like co-pay) to restrict and discourage abuse.
  5. Because one huge federal program administering healthcare may lead to fraud or abuse, we can either set up a separate nonprofit entity (like US post office) that handles healthcare or let the states manage it at the state level with block grants based on the size of the population so that smaller offices/budgets/geographic proximity can limit fraud/abuse. But the care/products/services are standardized nationwide so that states don’t get to limit/deny coverage.
  6. Allow anyone to buy pharmaceutical drugs from anywhere in the world. The simple act of opening up the market will make sure the prices remain real and not inflated due to regulation and middlemen.
  7. Eliminate Medicare, Medicaid, and other individual government-run healthcare systems to save cost and improve efficiency, as this one model can serve everyone in the country.
  8. Some details could be tweaked. For example, instead of 2%, it could be 1% or 3%. But establishing these principles in a simple, easy-to-understand system should be adequate to get things under control.  ANON

WILL YOU GET INVOLVED?

“THE TRANSFORMATION IS UNDERWAY.”

WATCH THE PROGRESSIVES SQUIRM!

My friend and often guest writer, Ron Jenkins, sent me a copy of this message to a member of his family. There is so much wisdom, facts, and sincerity expressed I hope you find this has a message you would share with your family like I will and I hope you do.

Unfortunately I have at least one daughter, two granddaughters and eventually some great grands that will have to painfully discover common sense someday on their own. They choose not to listen to me and would at this point, deny they are even related to me. I have enough family that does understand that what the Liberal-Demoncratic-Progressives have brainwashed these destructive paid and unpaid demonstrators with is nothing more than Government Imposed Socialism.

I hope these hate-filled people watch the sometimes crude like surgical transformation of a disunited America back into the “United States of America I so dearly love. God has Saved America if these animals can’t find another Judas and kill Donald Trump. C Brewer

I guess most social issues have relevance to those who keep them close to their hearts.

Recent elections have surely brought to the surface the widespread, & differing opinions held by people from coast to coast and border to border. The Civil War ended over 150 years ago, yet tensions and volatility still exist between North and South; between East and West; between cultures and religions. Vestiges of prejudice and involuntary servitude are not very far from the surface; violence envy & animosity are evident in the daily news cycle.  We are not as mature and civilized a society as we could be or should be.  We have a long way to go; however, I think that some American’s forget how lucky we are to live in this country, rather than Asia, Africa, Middle East or elsewhere; that do not have our freedoms and the opportunities for advancement that we have. You’ve lived O/S, as I have, and have seen it first-hand.

We, as a nation, should do some comparisons with those other parts of the world and recognize that generational change does not occur overnight.  Nor does it come fast enough for the last few X, Y or Z, generations of……impatient, “I WANT it now” citizen’s. Those people who have little understanding of our early history, the heritage of the founders, many of whom came to North American to escape religious persecution and royal tyranny, and to seek the freedom to do it the way they wanted, with as little governmental interference as a Representative Republic could offer.

The keynote these days seems to be “equality”, and to use the phrase I criticized earlier in the week, that could be a “code” word for the concept behind Communism or Liberal Progressive ism.

What many in this country fail to comprehend is that Capitalism built this country and made it rich. And, under Capitalism, not all of us are equal in ability or drive or dedication to a goal. However, I believe many, if not most of the well-off US taxpayers, are willing and able to provide help and support to those able bodied citizens who are less well off, but willing to get trained and skilled, rather than always and indefinitely, relying on gov’t assistance. The three levels of gov’t should do as much as possible to curb welfare fraud and the illegitimate payments to the millions that were added to the welfare rolls, during the last eight years and beyond. Those illegal payments that go to illegal aliens, to people with fake ID’s & driver’s licenses, those who can work but choose not to.

The poor can’t afford and therefore, don’t get the same quality of health care, as does a person who has the means to pay for better health insurance coverage, medical specialist care, private hospitalization or even a funeral.  Apparently, some protesters, think they should.  A private hospital room versus an eight patient ward.  A private school versus a free Community College. Benefits that are 100% Tax free, etc., etc. That isn’t the real world, but it is the Utopian promise of the Socialist and Liberal Progressive in every country that has tried it and failed, in the past millennia.

American’s must and will hopefully continue to evolve into a people with less prejudice towards anyone who is different, in any way, from the way they view themselves. The watch word I am continually espousing is tolerance.  Again, IMHO, to be willing and able to accept others who are different, is the standard I judge myself by. I frequently find myself falling short of my goal, when I react emotionally or viscerally to people or groups who purport to condemn all those who disagree with their pet philosophies & beliefs and who do so without an educational or historical background or the mental equipment to carry forth a sound and rational argument with an opponent.   Ron

REPUBLICAN PARTY’S LAST RIGHTS!

VENOM? HATE? CHARACTER ASSINATION JEALOUSY? FEAR? LEADERLESS? AIMLESS? LOST?

Let me see how many descriptive words or phrases others would like to add to my list above to express what should be engraved on the GOP headstone. Each week another well- known Progressive, Republican-In-Name-Only (RINO), encourages the self-inflicted suicide march they are hell bent on completing before November. Today we watched Mitt Romney join the growing number of RINO’S hit the accelerator to speed up the carnage. This follows a growing list of other GOP candidates that have dropped like flies as “Trump marches on”. McConnell, Ryan, most GOP Congresspersons, the entire twisted news media and obviously Hillary and her band of Communists friends and her Airforce of “Broom Pilots”.

In his speech at the University of Utah, Romney called Trump a “phony” and a “fraud” and argued that his policies would lead to a recession. Look back four years when he ran against Obama, the biggest fraud, phony, liar and “leadership impersonator” in the history of the United States. He never accused him of anything and he has already ruined the retirement hopes for the middle class for the next 100 years.

Let me share some of the specific charges he made and some of my comments about his bravery he did not have four years ago that would have won him the Presidency. Folks if you call his actions then, anything but stupid, you must have been laying around with Sleeping Beauty waiting for Prince Charming’s kiss? Obviously when Obama kissed her most of us seniors lost a huge hunk of our life’s savings.

Romney Quotes/My comments

“In 1964, days before the presidential election which, incidentally, we lost, Ronald Reagan went on national television and challenged America saying that it was a “Time for Choosing.” He saw two paths for America, one that embraced conservative principles dedicated to lifting people out of poverty and helping create opportunity for all, and the other, an oppressive government that would lead America down a darker, less free path. I’m no Ronald Reagan and this is a different moment but I believe with all my heart and soul that we face another time for choosing, one that will have profound consequences for the Republican Party and more importantly, for the country”.

“If he had said this in 2012 and used Obamas lying and wrecking the economy,  facts he would be running for re-election and the Broom Pilots would be Soccer Moms again.”

“Warren Buffett was 100% right when he said last week that “the babies being born in America today are the luckiest crop in history.”

“Where was Buffet in 2102? Asleep like Romney. There is no doubt their two families have no worries. Why did Buffet get Obama to kill the Keystone Pipeline, greed and Romney must have Hathaway investments? Folks, they are not hurting like you are”.

“That doesn’t mean we don’t have real problems and serious challenges. At home, poverty persists and wages are stagnant. The horrific massacres of Paris and San Bernardino, the nuclear ambitions of the Iranian mullahs, the aggressions of Putin, the growing assertiveness of China and the nuclear tests of North Korea confirm that we live in troubled and dangerous times”.

WOW! Not one factual thing listed to fix anything. Sounds like Rubio magic. Get ready for the Trump lawyers next.

“Let me put it plainly, if we Republicans choose Donald Trump as our nominee, the prospects for a safe and prosperous future are greatly diminished. First, the economy: If Donald Trump’s plans were ever implemented, the country would sink into a prolonged recession.”

“A few examples: His proposed 35% tariff-like penalties would instigate a trade war that would raise prices for consumers, kill export jobs, and lead entrepreneurs and businesses to flee America. His tax plan, in combination with his refusal to reform entitlements and to honestly address spending would balloon the deficit and the national debt. So even as Donald Trump has offered very few specific economic plans, what little he has said is enough to know that he would be very bad for American workers and for American families”.

“Let me put it plainly Mr. Romney, a safe prosperous future for you compared to the average American is like comparing beans and rice with porterhouse steaks and caviar. Like riding a bus compared with a private jet. There is not one person connected with our government at any level that has the foggiest idea what ordinary and especially senior citizens face every day they wake up. In my 85 years we have had a cycle that introduced “middle Class” and are now slowly eliminating it this very day. We now have “royalty like yourself and laws that everyone, especially the rich and powerful just ignore. I have written over 900 articles that can enlighten you but you would not lower yourself to read them. You live on a mountain of fantasy like our Congress.”

The President of the United States has long been the leader of the free world. The president and yes the nominees of the country’s great parties help define America to billions of people. All of them bear the responsibility of being an example for our children and grandchildren.

“Watch how he responds to my speech today. Will he talk about our policy differences or will he attack me with every imaginable low road insult? This may tell you what you need to know about his temperament, his stability, and his suitability to be president.”

“I can’t wait. You have brutally make assumptions, back stabbed Trump, accused him of stupidity, dishonesty and you have ignored what has destroyed the Republican Party at warp speed. Sir, we were both born in America, we put our pants on one leg at a time. We certainly had different lives you would not understand as silver spoons never found me in the 1930’s. I clawed my way up life’s ladder one rung at a time. I made my opportunities instead of inheriting them like you and Donald Trump. Mr. Romney, I find it shameful to watch you express your venom like you are Jesus and when you or Trump have no idea what an average American puts up with your bloated egos. Sadly we do not elect anyone anymore based on their value, we just vote against the ones who we dislike the most.

What you and the GOP does not understand is we have so many variables watching politicians carve each other up you will see Trump elected President as he is saying what the “People” want to hear. Politics has become a blood sport now as the recent death of Scalia will reveal someday. I have previously expressed that Trump will probably die of unexplained reasons, possibly before the elections.

You can read the rest if Romney’s diatribe but by now I am sick of his Paid Hit Job. I am ashamed that I voted for him even though he appeared to be better than Obummer.

HATE – A GIFT FROM THE OBAMA’S.

Can you understand the reason to pass on this legacy to two daughters who will suffer the most from two hate filled parents, I can’t?

I have been wandering around the Internet reading about the death of the longest serving member of the US Supreme Court. Folks if you still believe America is “United” you have questionable sanity. I have been accused and plead guilty to being a Conservative all of my 85 years. I started as a Democrat because my father and grandfather were Conservative and in the 1950’s Texas was almost 100% Conservative and that lasted until LBJ stole a Senate seat with stuffed ballot boxes.

I watched the Republican Party grow as they took over the Conservative banner and became powerful until Reagan retired and a new group of “Republicans in Name Only” or (RINO) Progressives took control of the power and virtually gave the Presidency to Obama by continuing to start wars to accomplish nothing but discontent. This was the opening for RINO’s like Bush, McCain, McConnell, Boehner, Paul Ryan, Lindsey Graham, etc, to take over and give the Presidency to Obama on a silver platter. He expanded the welfare system, unemployment programs and mesmerized the women to re-elect him again. He may not bankrupt America by next January but what he has in place will if we try again to elect Rino’s like Bush 3, and the army of clones who will do nothing.

To share what seemed to support my “HATE” comments read some of the following “HATE” from both Republicans and Demoncrats. What they really hate is the US Constitution but spew their venom toward honest people who pledged to follow this document. The four or five Supreme Court Justices that represent these dissidents just ignore the Constitution to satisfy the Americans that hate the document and blame it on the ones who follow the law of the land. Change the document instead of  hating Americans that follow the law. Our President hates the Constitution and spews hate just like the ones who are so happy Scalia is dead

Glenn Beck Thanks God for Scalia’s Death: It ‘Woke the American People Up’ to Support Cruz”. Beck, a supposed Christian who praises God” for taking a life for political purpose. Beck was a man I admired until he spewed this hate.

Usmann Rana @usmannrana I know Hitler ACTUALLY killed millions whereas #Scalia was a bigot in speech. But their speech often leads to actions. Hence the comparison

John Iadarola @jiadarola If Scalia’s death is sad, the thousands who will die as a result of his suspending Obama’s greenhouse gas emissions rule is far, far sadder.

Serenity @nschim Scalia the best Supreme Court Justice money could buy. I hear the Koch brothers are in mourning. Oh well, they still have Clarence Thomas.

George freeman @Numbers28 This is going to sound cold, but one down, one to go. Uncle Ruckkus (Clarence Thomas) needs to go next. Then our country can start healing.

J @piercepenniless Perhaps we can hope Clarence Thomas, by instinct and habit, will join him.

Larry Elder @larryelder The #Liberal Racists rejoice over death of #AntoninScalia–and are unleashing their bigotry against #ClarenceThomas.

Tomás Río @TheTomasRios Scalia was a monster and no one’s job entitles them to respect.

Glenn Greenwal @ggreenwald Don’t even try to enforce the inapplicable don’t-speak-ill-of-the-dead “rule” for the highly polarizing, deeply consequential Antonin Scalia.

David Ehrlich, again. He is staff writer for Rolling Stone, couldn’t contain his open glee for Scalia’s passing, even mocking his pro-life views. “Hold your Fetus Poster at Half-Mast” outside of Planned Parenthood.

Silvia Killingsworth, Managing Editor for The New Yorker actually joked that Scalia was in Hell, and mocked how he died. How “American” for Scalia to die at a ranch in Texas!

Feminist politics writer for Salon, Amanda Marcotte: “God approves of abortion.” “Marcotte then wondered, was it fate?

Dave Zirin, “Ugly Truths” in Scalia’s Legacy, like Reagan: Dave is Sports Editor for the Nation and frequent MSNBC guest managed to slam both Scalia and Reagan in one punch: Zirin also played the “pity Scalia’s victims”.

Glenn Greenwald, the radical left-wing journalist tweeted that he doesn’t think the “don’t speak ill of the dead” rule applies to Scalia.

Gabriel Arana, Huffington Post Senior Editor for HuffPo: Scalia’s no “saint”. She echoed Greenwald’s sentiment, linking to an article Greenwald wrote after Margaret Thatcher’s death, essentially bashing both Thatcher and Scalia as undeserving of respect.

Anyone who believes the “United States” is united must be the ones on welfare, unemployed, 2 million added to SSI since Obama was elected, the 12- to 18 million illegals, the hundreds of thousands Muslims Obama has added to the welfare rolls and the dead. That will add up to enough votes to allow Illinois to have its first free election in a hundred years.

Two people running for President know what needs to be done and that is why both sides hate Trump and Cruz. It is a shame they apparently can’t support each other as they would make a great team. Both should have recognized that the RINO’s have created the hate so that hopefully neither will get nominated. Trump should have know better and Cruz is too green to see how he got sucked into the war of words neither can win. Both need to engage their brain before thay open mouth and insert both feet

Two things are certain; 1. Donald Trump got two votes yesterday in the Texas Primary that will likely be canceled by my own children and grandchildren. 2. When they have to pay for this “Government Gone Wild” spending spree, about the time, some hope to retire, they will wish they had paid attention to this old man (not applicable to the lawyers and some of the of well educated granddaughters and the one Daughter who already dislikes me).

None of them every learned hate from me. Disgust and mistrust of some separated some of us but hate is a feeling I never experienced, even for the Obama’s. Pity would be a better description of my emotions, including the misguided voters who elected Obama twice.

C Brewer “GOD SAVE AMERICA.” “God Bless Antonin Scalia.” Wake up America.”

REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP

I just read an article titled, “Boehner Takes Revenge” that is a perfect example of what is wrong with American politics and why America is totally leaderless. Revenge is not how you unite America as Obama, Reid, Holder, Sotomayor, Hagen, Pelosi and Ginsberg have demonstrated these past six years. When will America elect real leaders to manage our future rather than the career politicians we have today?

This article was well written by Jake Sherman and John Bresnahan and I just want to share some of the facts they recorded along with some personal observations.

  1. Immediately after he was re-elected Speaker Boehner removed Daniel Webster and Richard Nugent from the powerful “Rules Committee”. Not because they are not well qualified but obviously because they voted against him. Webster, supported by Nugent, openly ran against Boehner for Speaker. Webster is the former Florida statehouse speaker and state Senate majority leader. Boehner’s actions prove that political revenge is the way to demonstrate GOP “Leadership” in Washington today.
  2. The article also reported that Boehner and his power allies have warned all who opposed him that other retaliation could be expected. Retaliation is another new word used in Washington as a replacement for “Leadership”. This new Republican “cabal” is carefully reviewing the list of members who voted against the speaker. They are also reviewing every Republican who voted against the procedural motion in December on the so-called “crominibus,” the $1.1 trillion spending package to keep the government open through to September. This internal power struggle within the Republican party is another example of how our so called leaders continue to destroy each other rather than focus on conservative values and uniting America that they were elected to provide.
  3. Another example of discontinuity, Virginia Rep. Scott Rigell got appointed to the Appropriations Committee even though he voted for Webster for Speaker. That appointment has infuriated other Boehner loyalists. This is just another example of how the Republicans have mastered the art of “Self-Destruction”. Watch how they implode and divide themselves openly during the next Presidential primaries like they have done for far too many years. Boy, the Democrats must be really getting excited to watch them tear each other apart on live TV these next several months.
  4. Tuesday’s vote resulted in twice as many anti-Boehner votes compared with 2013, noted Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.), one of the most vocal thorns in Boehner’s side. Huelskamp said he was unhappy that “only three of the freshmen class” voted against Boehner. Huelskamp said he was denied a chance to get back his seat on the Agriculture Committee because of his opposition to Boehner. The Kansas Republican was removed from the panel in 2012. “I am already hearing from my colleagues, and myself, about retaliation against those who voted their conscience, their constituents, their principles, to change the status quo,” Huelskamp said. “My colleagues fully expect that. That’s what they expect out of this leadership team.”Iowa GOP Rep. Steve King, who voted against Boehner, said, “If you cannot vote your conscience … then it’s clearly a dysfunctional system here.”
  5. Boehner and his “clique” appear convinced that, despite 25 defections, they have a firmer grip on power than ever. They say their “working majority” — members whom Boehner can work with — is around 220 members. “We don’t need these fringe guys as much as we did anymore,” said a GOP leadership aide, speaking on condition of anonymity. “We can let them walk on certain bills, and it just won’t matter. That gives us breathing room.

Watching the internal blood-bath within the Republicans is becoming more like a TV soap opera than managing the business of our country. Unity died in America and the GOP after Ronald Reagan finished his second term. Democrats thrive on conflict and hate and relish the self-destruction actions of the Republicans who have perfected political suicide with revenge and retaliation.

SOCIALIST BLUEPRINT FOR AMERICA!

My old friend Bob McGraw sent this to me and it has been passed around in the past but I feel it needs to be read by every American alive. I decided to post this on this Christmas Day while we still have the right to free speech and to enjoy this holiday that all Progressive-Liberals and Democrats so badly wish to eliminate. Those who continue to support these enemies of freedom deserve their fate. I will likely be gone but I weep for my children and grandchildren, some who actually believe in this Socialist form of government because they we brainwashed in major Universities.  C Brewer

The following is short, so read it and weep!

Saul Alinsky died about 43 years ago, but his writings influenced those in political control of our nation today…….

Recall or read that Hillary Clinton did her college thesis on his writings and President Obama writes about him in his books.

Died: June 12, 1972, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Ca

Education: University of Chicago

Spouse: Irene Alinsky

Books: Rules for Radicals, Reveille for Radicals

Anyone out there think that this stuff isn’t happening today in the U.S.? All eight rules are currently in play

How to create a social state by Saul Alinsky:

There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.

1) Healthcare– Control healthcare and you control the people

2) Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

3) Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4) Gun Control– Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

5) Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)

6) Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.

7) Religion – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools

8) Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Does any of this sound like what is happening to the United States?

Alinsky merely simplified Vladimir Lenin’s original scheme for world conquest by communism, under Russian rule. Stalin described his converts as “Useful Idiots.”  The Useful Idiots have destroyed every nation in which they have seized power and control. It is presently happening at an alarming rate in the U.S.

If people can read this and still say everything is just fine… they are “useful idiots”.

“It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere.” Anon

I hope you will read and share this with every American you know.

Merry Christmas, CB
