Having just published an article on Leadership took less than 48 hours to watch the fearless Commander-in Chief of the United States military use and hide behind political cowardice to prove to the world that he not a leader. Assad called it a victory for someone but for God’ sake who is our enemy in Syria? We have Republicans like John McCain and his usual RINO media hogs like Lindsey Graham, screaming we are letting Assad the Monster kill and maim Syrian citizens with poison gas while Assad’s enemy is the same Muslim group that killed our Ambassador and Navy Seals in Libya.

If the current leadership in Washington D.C. had been in power on December 7, 1941 the Japanese could have destroyed our entire navy while the President waited for Congress to finish their Christmas vacation.

Obama and many in Congress threatened Syria with a red line in the sand. We have warships positioned to attack somebody who they have determined to be the enemy of all civilized mankind. Then with real “Courage” the announced “KINGS X” and threw the Israeli people under the bus and   then gave a signal for Iran and the other Muslim enemies it is open season again for the Jewish people. This unbelievable political cop out by Obama is the true picture of what he defines as “Courage”. Let me again share the Wikipedia definition of “Courage”.

“Courage is the ability and willingness to confront fear, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation. Physical courage is courage in the face of physical pain, hardship, death, or threat of death, while moral courage is the ability to act rightly in the face of popular opposition, shame, scandal, or discouragement.”

“In some traditions, fortitude holds approximately the same meaning as courage. In the Western tradition, notable thoughts on courage have come from philosophers such as Aristotle, Aquinas and Kierkegaard; in the Eastern tradition, some thoughts on courage were offered by the Tao Te Ching. More recently, courage has been explored by the discipline of psychology.

John Wayne quoted; “Courage is being scared to death… and saddling up anyway.”

Another philosopher, unmentioned by Wikipedia was Socrates who said; “He is a man of courage who does not run away, but remains at his post and fights against the enemy.”

I doubt we have one politician with true Courage, outside of Sheriff Joe out in Arizona, in America today. Obama, Reid, Polosi, Boehner and McConnell have proven without a doubt they are career politicians and all forms of common sense is unlawful. The Supreme Court, including John Roberts, makes decisions regarding the law for political gain for others. They are aware they can’t be replaced but their political officials, friends and lobbyist need help.

It took real Courage for Polosi to tell Congress to pass Obamacare and you can read it later. Well it’s later and because we have no honest media to report dishonesty in Washington, she is frothing at the mouth to regain the Speaker-of-the House position of unlimited power to destroy the future for most Americans.

You Progressive-Liberals just keep electing these clowns and hope that Miracle-Genie appears with her brass lamp. She will then force Iran and the other Muslim and terrorist nations to surrender their weapons of war. She will next assure the tree-huggers that they will, hug and kiss the Christians and Jews and decide to give the world all of their oil, free.

Believing this will happen is about as big of a pipe dream as Obama and Congress scrapping Obamacare voluntarily. Just being an old native Texan who loves America, let me share the way I would define “Courage”.

“Any leader without Courage is more dangerous that the worst enemy you will ever face.”

America’s economic future is the best example of how a leaderless government designed train wreck is inevitable. It’s not a matter of if, it is certain and the only variable now is when.

Did you know OBAMACARE created a new tax on medical devices? Something you may not know is what medical devices are included in the new tax.

This 2.3% Medical Excise Tax that began on January 1st was designed to be “hidden” from the consumer. You can find this by visiting the IRS’s website.

Q1. What is the medical device excise tax? A1. Section 4191 of the Internal Revenue Code imposes an excise tax on the sale of certain medical devices by the manufacturer or importer of the device.

Q2. When does the tax go into effect? A2. The tax applies to sales of taxable medical devices after Dec. 31, 2012.

Q3. How much is the tax? A3. The tax is 2.3 percent of the sale price of the taxable medical device. See Chapter 5 of IRS Publication 510, Excise Taxes, and Notice 2012-77 for additional information on the determination of sale price.

Go to http://www.irs.gov/publications/p510/ch05.html and click on “Chapter 5 of IRS Publication 510.” Look for “MEDICAL DEVICES” under “MANUFACTURERS TAXES”?

The following discussion of manufacturers taxes Applies to the tax on:

Sport fishing equipment;

Fishing rods and fishing poles;

Electric outboard motors;

Fishing tackle boxes;

Bows, quivers, broadheads, and points;

Arrow shafts;

Taxable tires;

Gas guzzler automobiles; and

We have definitely been screwed again by Congress. Anyone who believes that the Affordable Care Act is just about health care is a moron. The deeper you dig it is nothing more than a bill stuffed full a whole lot of taxes that most Americans are not aware of.

Remember what Nancy Pelosi said…….”We have to pass it to see what is in it”. What is next? We will find out as time goes by what other covert fate awaits us as the liberal Congressmen who approved this and the media has no interest in exposing this monstrasity. WHY?

Thanks for sharing these facts Ray.

Americans With No Abilities Act!

President Barack Obama and the Democratic Senate are considering sweeping legislation that will provide new benefits for many Americans. The Americans With No Abilities Act is being hailed as a major legislative goal by advocates of the millions of Americans who lack any real skills or ambition.

“Roughly 50 percent of Americans do not possess the competence and drive necessary to carve out a meaningful role for themselves in society,” said California Sen. Barbara Boxer. “We can no longer stand by and allow People of Inability (POI) to be ridiculed and passed over. With this legislation, employers will no longer be able to grant special favors to a small group of workers, simply because they have some idea of what they are doing.”

In a Capitol Hill press conference, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid pointed to the success of the U.S. Postal Service, which has a long-standing policy of providing opportunity without regard to performance. At the state government level, the Department of Motor Vehicles also has an excellent record of hiring Persons with No Ability (63 percent).

Under the Americans With No Abilities Act, more than 25 million mid-level positions will be created, with important-sounding titles but little real responsibility, thus providing an illusory sense of purpose and performance.

Mandatory non-performance-based raises and promotions will be given to guarantee upward mobility for even the most unremarkable employees. The legislation provides substantial tax breaks to corporations that promote a significant number of Persons of Inability (POI) into middle-management positions, and give a tax credit to small and medium-sized businesses that agree to hire one clueless worker for every two talented hires.

Finally, the Americans With No Abilities Act contains tough new measures to make it more difficult to discriminate against the non-abled, banning, for example, discriminatory interview questions such as, “Do you have any skills or experience that relate to this job?”

“As a non-abled person, I can’t be expected to keep up with people who have something going for them,” said Mary Lou Gertz, who lost her position as a lug-nut twister at the GM plant in Flint, Mich., due to her inability to remember righty tighty, lefty loosey. “This new law should be real good for people like me. I finally have job security.” With the passage of this bill, Gertz and millions of other untalented citizens will finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Said Sen. Dick Durbin: “As a senator with no abilities, I believe the same privileges that elected officials enjoy ought to be extended to every American with no abilities. It is our duty as lawmakers to provide each and every American citizen, regardless of his or her inadequacy, with some sort of space to take up in this great nation and a good salary for doing nothing.

Of our nine richest lawmakers seven are Democrats. Who said money can’t buy power? I just read some of these facts on Newsmax and wanted to share them with my friends.

Texas Republican Rep. Michael McCaul ranks as the wealthiest member of Congress for the second year in a row. He reported a minimum net worth of $290.5 million for 2011. That’s nearly $100 million more than his nearest challenger and former No. 1, Democratic Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, who had at least $198.8 million last year, according to The Hill’s list of the “50 Wealthiest Lawmakers.”

McCaul’s father-in-law is founder of radio giant Clear Channel Communications, and Kerry’s wealth comes largely from his wife Theresa Heinz Kerry’s links to the Heinz ketchup fortune.

Third on the list is Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., who made his fortune in car security systems and had at least $140.6 million last year.

The next six lawmakers on the list are Democrats:

Rep. Jared Polis of Colorado, worth $91 million, is the founder of American Information Systems, an Internet access firm.

Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia, an early investor in Nextel, was worth $85.9 million last year.

Sen. Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia’s fortune stood at $83 million in 2011. His trusts are valued at a minimum of $80 million.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, whose wife is the daughter of real estate mogul Peter Malkin, was worth $80 million last year.

Sen. Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey, co-founder of Automatic Data Processing, a payroll services firm, was worth $56.9 million.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, married to investment banker Richard Blum, was worth $47.2 million.

The Hill reviewed lawmakers’ 2011 calendar year financial disclosure forms. To calculate a member’s wealth, The Hill used the low figure in the value range for each asset and liability. The liabilities were then subtracted from the assets to reach a minimum net worth.

Of the 50 wealthiest, 31 are in the House and 19 are in the Senate.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, at No. 37, is the only GOP leader to make the top 50, with $8.9 million.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California is No. 15 with $26.4 million.

The “poorest” member on the top 50 list, Republican Rep. Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, was worth only $5.9 million.

Puts a tear in my eye and feel sorry for the poor remaining 485 Congresspersons who are still climbing the ladder. Remember if they stay long enough all will make the top 50 someday.

One would think that these folks could create jobs instead of welfare if they tried a little harder. Oh, I forgot who their leader was, oops. Vote’um all out.

I read an article titled “Pelosi and Democrats Move to Change First Amendment”. The article was published April 21st, on brightbart.com and written by Susan Berry. This is another stealth attempt to change our Constitution while the public and the media are focused on the elections. Just another backdoor attempt by the democrats who fear they may lose their majority in the Senate in November. This would be a move that would silence the conservative press and other organizations that are funded to offset the Progressive political slant of the main stream media.

Nancy Pelosi and Democrats in Congress announced on April 19th that they intend to amendment the Constitution. This would grant Congress the power to control political speech of corporations, including those corporations that produce films, newspapers, books, and radio broadcasts. The amendment would reverse the Supreme Court’s decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission in which the High Court ruled that the First Amendment protects the right of free speech for corporations as well as individuals.

This decision made by the Supreme Court was the action that President Obama openly criticized in his January 20, 2010, State of the Union address. In January of 2010.

Pelosi stated at that time that a move to amend the Constitution was part of a three-pronged Progressive strategy. She included that passage of the DISCLOSE Act, which would further regulate disclosure requirements for organizations that run political ads, and promotion of taxpayer funding of political campaigns.

Ms. Pelosi also stated, “Our Founders had an idea. It was called democracy. It said elections are determined by the people, the voice and the vote of the people, not by the bankrolls of the privileged few. This Supreme Court decision flies in the face of our Founders’ vision and we want to reverse it.”

Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Massachusetts), who is also sponsoring the amendment, recently said, “I’ve introduced a People’s Rights Amendment, which is very simple and straightforward. It would make clear that all corporate entities, for-profit and non-profit alike, are not people with constitutional rights. It treats all corporations, including incorporated unions and nonprofits, in the same way, as artificial creatures of the state that we, the people, govern, not the other way around.”

The First Amendment of the Constitution includes that “Congress shall make no law … abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.”

This is just another Progressive step in the process of making America a Socialist Democracy, which is the dream of President Obama and the entire Democratic Party in power.

What saddens me is that probably 90% of American voters already believe that we are a Democracy because of the twisted words of Ms Polosi and what used to be a free press.

America is not a Democracy, it has never been a Democracy and I pray that it will never be a Democracy. The United States is, and always has been, a Congressional Republic. Our education system does not adequately prepare our students to even know we are a Republic, much less explain the difference. They only teach that we have a Democratic form of government which is true.

How many of you that read this article actually know the difference between a Republic and a Democracy? My next series of articles will explain three things; One, what is a Republic; Two, what is a Democracy; Three, what are the differences between a Republic and a Democracy.

I would like to ask anyone who cares, to send me your perception of the difference between a Republic and a Democracy. I promise to include your inputs in the third part of the series. Hopefully we can educate some Americans to understand and help protect our freedoms when they vote in November? One more Progressive Supreme Court Justice will destroy over three hundred years of freedom. Obama has already given us two Progressive Justices and we may have three expire or resign in the next four years.

Send me your inputs to, cwbstock@yahoo.com.

This may be too far out to some but in reality Obama has about as much common and business sense as the Three Stoogies. In fact he, Harry Reid and Nancy Polosi would lose a debate with Larry, Curley and Moe.
