WHAT AMERICA NEEDS – A CONGRESS THAT ACTS INSTEAD OF FIGHTS!

What Congress has become in my lifetime is a body that spends most of their time developing ways to stop progress and develop political actions to divides the people instead of focusing on progress. I researched their responsibilities and found the following.  

1. Congress is the legislative, or lawmaking, branch of our national government. It shares power with the president and the Supreme Court. The writers of the U.S. Constitution thought Congress was so important, they listed it first! Congress has two parts, the Senate and the House of Representatives.

One thing is certain, Congress has lost its importance of being first as they have defaulted their power and the Presidents use executive powers to act to either help or hurt the people. We just had a President that did more to divide the people than every enemy we have had in our history. Now we have a President that is trying to unite the people and he is being combated by the Federal Courts, the Supreme Court and both the Democrats and Republicans in Congress. The people elected Trump to unite the people and the other two branches of government have stopped him from doing exactly what he promised to do when he was elected. Congress is dysfunctional and so divided it only debates and gets nothing done.

2. Congress has authority over financial and budgetary matters, through the enumerated power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States.

The Senate has not approved a budget in so long it should have its powers removed. If you look at the IRS alone the collection of taxes alone has become a major cost of governing and the people can no longer do their own taxes. I have a Masters in Business and I have been unable to do my taxes for over 25 years. The IRS has grown a lot faster than the economy by issuing 70,000 pages of rules that are changed daily. Trump promised a new tax system that would simplify the tax system and it has been over nine months for nothing to happen in Congress to help the people.

3. Congress has five main functions: lawmaking, representing the people, performing oversight, helping constituents, and educating the public.

Lawmaking created little while lawbreaking has become commonplace in our cities and many States. Federal Judges now make law, Our last President, Governors and Mayors openly ignore laws and nothing happens. Trump called Washington DC a “Swamp”. When a Federal Judge in Hawaii can make laws by decree the Swamp is a morass likely nationwide?

How many of those who read this have been helped by your Congressperson?

As far as educating the public Congress can’t even educate its members. The recent debacle over a Trump phone call is proof positive Congress has no control over its own members.

4. Through legislative debate and compromise, the U.S. Congress makes laws that influence our daily lives. It holds hearings to inform the legislative process, conducts investigations to oversee the executive branch, and serves as the voice of the people and the states in the federal government.

Now we get to the red meat. Congress has demonstrated that debate and compromise are two things that have become totally inoperative today. Congress has made laws that have devastated the people and our daily lives. Congress holds hearings to give face time to individuals who consistently prove they can’t ever agree that white is white or right is right. There are so many Congresspersons  begging for face time on the networks and in hearings I feel sure all 535 members have a hairdresser and a makeup professional to make sure their lipstick, powder and hair look professional.

5. What are the three powers of the Congress? Enumerated powers, or the expressed powers, are powers the Constitution explicitly grants to Congress, including the power to declare war and levy taxes.

I for one doubt that if we were attacked today by North Korea that Congress would be debating the issue to declare war for six months and the vote would be 52 to 48 in the Senate. Even the RINO Republicans would all hopefully vote to declare war. Well I have always been an optimists. If Ms Collins, Mr McCain, Ms Murkowski or Mr Paul rebelled against war, North Korea might gain control of the entire west coast states and Alaska. Maybe we should throw in Arizona, Illinois and New York?

What America needs first and now are jobs, jobs and jobs. Putting our welfare army to work will solve the National debt issue. Only term limits will correct the Congressional issues.

THE NANCY AND “CHUCKIE” SHOW.

Watching the parade of Demoncrats race to get face time on the Fake-Media screaming for gun control was sickening at best. Folks, I believe the people are tired of watching a bunch of sore losers whine and cry about everything proposed by so called leaders of Congress. President Trump has stayed on theme from the first day he announced  that Washington was a swamp that needed draining and he was duly elected by our laws.

How dumb do Nancy & Chuckie (The Soros paid duo) think the American voter has become? Watching the sorest loser, Hillary, in modern America rush to climb on the gun haters wagon is sad.  This outright Communists could have forced votes on gun control back when Bill was chasing every woman in sight. “If this army of “Soros” destroyers really wanted gun control why on Earth did they avoid this issue during the recent two years the Demoncrats had control of all three branches of government? President Obummer and a majority in both the Senate and the House passed Obummercare. Why did they avoid gun control then?

Let me tell you why. They all know that running in support of gun control will never get them elected, yet. The gates to allow the millions of aliens to vote will be closed when the Federal Courts, Government employees and Congress have been purged of Soros paid traitors.

Unless you are deaf, dumb and/or a Demoncrat ,change will happen even if they eliminate Trump as they did Scalia. The “Swamp Draining” mission is underway. Unfortunately the media, including Fox News fail to report the facts that Americans fully understand and support President Trump. As weak as they show us every day the Republicans will purge the “Rinos” and Demoncrats starting next year’s election. . It would be interesting to see if Nancy and Chuckie would lay out their plan for how to unite the people and keep Congress neutered from marching forward.  They have become the duo of deceit and damage. They can’t even perform without teams of lawyers and manipulated strings manned by Soros.

The media has made sure that the people understand every possible weakness with the Trump team. They do this with deleted words, omitted words, innuendos, outright lies and with a bunch of second rate actors and actresses. These pawns read the words drafted by the teams of people paid by Soros. If Soros had any honesty or kahunas he would stop hiding and run for President himself.  

If the people truly want the 1st and 2nd ammendment of the Constitution overturned and have the military take weapons of protection I am so happy I am 87 years old. Sadly several in my own family would likely approve these changes. They think they have hidden this from me so far. The brainwashing in our colleges and universities has become so intense if we were attacked by North Korea tomorrow Canada would be overrun with cowards, again.  

Every day I have left before the fat lady sings I pray that President Trump never lets up the pressure on anyone in any political party that intensifies weakening of our Constitution.

SPECIAL NEWS ALERT!

Every American who watches the news should be sick and tired of watching the ugly North Korean leader and both Congress and the media use the Russians to hide their bias, hate and fear smears?

Fellow Americans, why would North Korea or the Russians waste time or money worrying about us to do anything?

They can just sit back along with conservative Americans and watch the Dis-United States implode.

Congressional “Demoncrats”, Progressive Federal Judges, the blood-thirsty hate-filled media and the many Republicans who despise Donald Trump will destroy America from within just for spite. 

Watching Congress allow all of this to happen this makes me sick. The United States will never be united again. One more time folks, “Who Cares”?  I do, do you?

I’M BACK, AFTER SOME MIND REPAIR!

It was amazing to see so many comments on the Facebook entry of my last article, “Closed for Repairs”. I really appreciate the few friends that seemed to be concerned if was quitting my writing. I just visited my WordPress site after a week of respite and was shocked that the “Closed for Repairs” posting was the number one article viewed by the world. An article that did not have a single word intriguing connotations. The fact that everyone who was interested in reading nothing was an American. How would you perceive this phenomenon? 

During the same period not one person viewed my article on the healthcare debacle. That is sad news that more Americans are interested in nothing than the health care issues. This coupled with the obvious fact that the Senate also does not care proves that idiocracy is out of control.  When some hate filled Republicans led by John McCain, two “Dizzy” females and some other Senators who exhibit mental problems voted with 100% with the Democrats to kill the healthcare work was saddening. Supporting the Democrats because they despise the President shows it is time to drain the “Senate Swamp”. The hate filled vote made it clear that the Senate and has no concern for the people suffering from Obummercare. Folks next year we can rid Congress of several Senators who voted to keep Obamacare.  

I deeply enjoyed my respite from watching the daily news. After a few days with reruns of Mash, Lucy & Desi, Maude and other oldies and it was mind refreshing. It is a crying shame that the illegals, African Americans, Millennials or Generation Y misfits have zero knowledge of a time when Americans actually liked each other.

As it has rained for the last two days and golf was not possible I watched the news again this morning. It is obvious the media like Congress have forgotten the healthcare issues. It was a small surprise to learn that Senate Majority leader, Mitch McConnell, took time away from his 24 day vacation to express that the President expects too much activity from the Senate. Folks this is the most obvious admission of how the “Swamp” hates Trump and the Senate is overworked. It would be refreshing to know how many people who read this article agree that Congress is “Overworked”?

Other news revealed that Mueller’s “Witch Hunt” has expanded to dig into some individual’s history hoping to discover if they ever “Jaywalked” or sipped Russian Vodka?

It was refreshing to note that Trump’s warning to North Korea was disturbing to Senator Feinstein as provoking the enemy. I expect that her staff was tired of the August vacation and woke her up to get some face time on TV. After all, the people may forget her while she is vacationing. I served in the US Navy during the Korean War nearly 70 years ago. News clips this morning showed Presidential warnings to North Korea from John Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, George Bush to stop their nuclear ambitions. No one slowed them down. They made great advancements while Obama courted the Muslim world and dismantled our military and nuclear capability. Now they threaten an atomic attack and who cares? The United States should have wiped them out when I was in the military. Congress is now having a 24 day vacation. America would be better off if all 100 Senators would just resign.

The most repeated news today is 1,000,000 news clips of North Korean leaders prancing and pictures of missile launches. I can never expect to see programs on TV that show harmony like I enjoyed as a boy and younger man. So I just decided to watch reruns of “Blue Bloods” and admire Tom Selleck, my TV and movie hero. I could not find any John Wayne movies and admire my oldest hero. He has already reached the age I will be on the 31st, 87 and hoping. I am praying that it will not rain in the morning so I can leave my Lazy Boy and fire up my golf cart.

I doubt many will read this but it allowed me to escape watching the news for an hour. I think I will go grocery shopping and let Norma watck NCIS reruns.

I read an interesting article on Townhall.com yesterday that had a topic I felt needed to be included in my series on Socialism.

Remember I wrote about Karl Marx’s contribution to Socialism and included how he was largely responsible for Russia ending up as a Communist nation. The article was written by Mike Adams and I will credit him with direct quotes and repeat some of his facts.

This will hopefully influence your perception of what Obama and the Progressive’s of both major political parties have been preparing for over 100 years. Progressives are usually non-violent, domestically, as you will see later. They want power and your money.

Mike stated, “There are more Marxists teaching in Sociology Departments in America than living in the former Soviet Union. These sociologists hold themselves out as scientists despite the fact that they fail consistently in their efforts to predict the future. In fact, most of them lack the competence to accurately predict the past.” He identifies that among the least competent and most intellectually dishonest is Gary L. Faulkner, Professor Emeritus from the University of North Carolina.

Faulkner recently claimed that Marx predicted the events we are seeing in the Occupy Wall Street movement. He also claimed that events from the 20th Century bolster the credibility of Marx as both an economist and political prophet. He further castigates Republicans for their refusal to embrace Marxism. Faulkner states, “There is something really ironic about Republican’s hatred of Marxism. Years ago Marx predicted capitalism would collapse. The reason – workers would rebel.”

That prediction came true when we watched rebellions in China, Russia, North Korea, Cambodia, Afghanistan, and Vietnam. These resulted in Marxist governments that killed nearly 100 million citizens. “Marx was a violent man who unleashed racist and anti-Semitic assaults on anyone who dared to oppose the use of violence as a means of creating change.”

“Marx would have carried out violence on a larger scale. But his poor physical condition prevented him from doing so. That left the work to followers such as Lenin, Stalin, and Mao. His heavy smoking and drinking zapped his energy. His refusal to bathe – a trait also shared by Mao – resulted in boils all over his body. They brought on nervous collapse and fits of rage – both of which would have prevented him from working and earning his own living had he decided to do so.”

Marx had a passionate hatred of capitalism because he was simply unable to handle money and to organize his own financial affairs. His inability to stay out of debt explains why his theory of capital is so deeply rooted in anti-Semitism. It also explains why he stole many of his most deeply anti-Semitic passages from Martin Luther.

“Although he wrote about the need for revolution, Marx had a strange hatred for those who came from the revolutionary class. His son-in-law Paul Lafargue was from Cuba and had some black blood. He tried to keep his daughter from marrying him and later resented him for refusing to honor his wishes.” Consequently, Marx referred to him as “Negrillo” and “the Gorilla.” Would he have loved Obama?

Marx considered both work and the worker to be beneath him. He lived nearly his entire adult life off of handouts from Engels, the co-author of The Communist Manifesto.

“Marx understood that there would always be men incapable of taking care of themselves. He understood that they would resort to violence whenever they did not get what they wanted. He also understood that there would always be academics who admired gross incompetence and the propensity towards violence.”

I can quickly identify American leaders who share Marx’s beliefs and our current Attorney General is a prime one. How many of our current leaders can you identify as Marxist? Send me your list to compare with mine.

AMERICA, WHAT HAPPENED?

 

 

 I just read an editorial from the Tawas City Michigan newspaper, written by Ken Huber, titled “What has America Become?” We listen to our President and Congress tell us we are a nation of laws, then watch these supposed leaders of our nation ignore the laws. I have taken some facts from this editorial and blended them with some more thoughts of my own

1. If you or I lie to congress we are charged with a felony. Just ask Roger Clements what he has been through. If our President or a member of Congress lies to us, which happens every day, it is just politics.

2. Should I express a dislike for a person of color or an illegal alien, I am accused of being a racist. If a black person were to call me a racist, it is just their 1st amendment rights.

3. Our Federal and State governments spends billions to rehabilitate criminals but could care less about the victims of the crimes. That is a problem for society to take care of.

4. We have just learned that some public schools can teach your children about homosexuality but they can be sued for using the word God in any activity.

5. You can legally kill an unborn child but it’s wrong to execute a mass murderer.

6. Instead of burning books like Hitler did to mask history, we just rewrite them. Now instead of using the words communists and socialist to describe Americans who hate living a democratic republic, we call them progressives. Two that come to mind today are President Obama and Hillary Clinton who admit to being progressives.  

7. Our federal government is obviously unable to protect our border with Mexico and refuses to use our military to protect Americans. The same government uses our military to protect the 38th parallel and stop North Koreans from immigrating to South Korea. Same scenario applies for Iraq, Afghanistan and who knows where else?

8. Should I protest anything concerning President Obama’s policies on my blog, some consider me to be a terrorist. If anyone burns an American flag or burns a conservative’s picture in effigy, it is considered their 1st amendment right.

9. You can have pornography on TV and the internet but you can’t place a nativity scene on public property.

10. Our current president and progressive congress persons promote the use of human fetus, and fight the use of animals for conducting medical research.

11. Progressives fight to take money from Americans who worked hard to take care of themselves and give it to those who do not want to work and the illegal aliens who have invaded our land.

12. Progressives support our constitution only when it supports their political ideology.

13. When we investigate a major crisis today, the government appoints a committee to pinpoint who is at fault, then threatens them, passes a law, raises taxes and tells us the problem is solved. This allows them to maintain 24/7/365 time trying to get re-elected. Our election cycle today is continuous.

14. If I file a fraudulent tax return, I am a criminal who is prosecuted, convicted, fined and either pay up or go to prison. If a Congress person or a cabinet official files a fraudulent tax return, it was an oversight or minor mistake and no prosecution is even considered. One exception was Charles Rangel who was censored by Congress, never paid his taxes and was re-elected immediately after his supposed punishment. Timothy Geithner, a private citizen, filed a fraudulent tax return. He was then selected by President Obama and confirmed by the US Senate to be the Secretary of the US Treasury. Mr. Geithner manages the Internal Revenue Service today. He can prosecute me but no one ever prosecuted him and I am unsure he ever paid anything, or was fined, or paid any penalty?

Remember one thing if you are a tax paying American, you will always be the statue and the government will always be the pigeon. If Obama is elected “King” next year it will get worse.

Why? Because of the ACLU lawyers who I define as the “Atheist Creating Left-wing Uprisings”, an organization dedicated to destruction of our “Republic”. I challenge you to see how many in our Legislative, Executive and Judicial branches of government are card carrying members and/or sympathetic to their cause and you elect them over and over again.
