OUR BIGGEST ENEMY IS OUR GOVERNMENT!

Prove me wrong?

Watching and reading the news, possibly deeper than most,  has proven to me that all of our government agencies have been unlawfully using security classifications to hide facts from the people. We get to see what they want us to see and this must be investigated.

Hiding anything from the public by every government agency is the scariest event in my lifetime. It is also factual that the major networks and publishers use innuendos, evasive methods to modify the news to fit their political propaganda objectives. I have lost trust in the news from television, radio and all newspapers and rely on the internet to keep me informed. Watching President Trump use the internet to express his positions has been refreshing. He obviously had some of the same concerns when he referred to Washington DC as a swamp that needed draining. He has been systematically addressing specific concerns and has chosen to express his positions openly. His actions to criticize the media when they spew propaganda is evident. His bold actions about the honesty of our own government has been refreshing.   

Anyone who questions the clandestine unlawful actions by our own government is either blind, deaf, dead or a Socialist, Democratic Progressive. This definition also describes the upper level leadership in all or nearly all current government agencies. When the Department of Justice (DOJ) becomes the most questionable agency we have, America is in deep trouble. Even more troubling is when the Justice Department uses security classification to hide their actions from Congress and the President. Save this article and watch this unfold as it can’t be hidden forever. It appears that our current Attorney General Sessions has been gagged by his own people for a reason we will never know. What prompted me to write this article was an article written by Chuck Ross for the Washington Journal Friday. I will use some of his statements to reveal what motivated me to spend this Sunday writing this article instead of watching the final round of The Masters Golf Tournament.  


“The Department of Justice says it will allow members of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees to view surveillance warrants granted against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in what the agency is calling an “extraordinary accommodation.”

DOJ is allowing the access to the four warrant applications in response to demands from California Rep. Devin Nunes, the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence”.

These revelations should be very troubling for any American who loves our “Freedoms”. I can’t fathom how or why the DOJ can hide any document, even politically misused actions, from the Congressional oversight committees. This mistrust within our entire government operations is deeply troubling. Analyze the next quote from Mr Ross.     

“Nunes threatened earlier this week to take legal action if the DOJ did not provide all committee members access to the four Page warrants, which were issued in 2016 and 2017 by judges on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Court. Nunes also demanded that the FBI hand over an internal document known as an Electronic Communication (EC), which laid out the basis for the bureau’s investigation into possible Trump campaign collusion with the Russian government”

“WOW”. A Congressional committee may have to sue the DOJ for what must be classified “Top Secret” for some scary reason, WHY?  The referenced, “Ross” article revealed that there was a subpoena issued to review the secret documents last August 24th from Chairman Nunes of the House Intelligence Committee. The DOJ and the FBI  have not provided the documents yet.


The Ross article revealed that the DOJ has allowed two members of the House Intelligence Committee to view the FISA warrants.  Rep. Adam Schiff and Rep. Trey Gowdy have reviewed the documents. Nunes sent four request in February to permit all members if the Intelligence Committee to review the Secret documents and his requests were declined. Another request has produced the following reply from assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd to Nunes Friday and is quoted from the Ross article;

“The Department considers this an extraordinary accommodation based on unique facts and circumstances. We are also extending this review opportunity to the members of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence,” the letter continues.

“Nunes set a deadline of April 11, next Wednesday, to provide a copy of the Electronic Communication”.

Can you imagine how many more government agencies use Security Classification to hide information from Congress, the Media and the people?Inspector Generals.

I recently read that the Inspector General within the DOJ has over 400 people to make sure operations are within the law. If this is an example there must be over ten thousand

Government employees making sure everything that happens in the entire government is lawful. The same Inspector General for the DOJ and his 400 plus people have been reviewing the Clinton computer and cell phone debacle for over a year. The Mueller investigation of the Russian involvement in the last election is the closest example of bias I have ever observed.  Fueled by the media it may last until they all die.

As most of the people who I worked with for 27 years in Aerospace for a company now part of Lockheed-Martin have passed away I will justify my knowledge of the security issues. I had security clearance for most of those years and spent many years with a Top Secret Crypto approval.  

Watching our government operate these past few years has been a lesson on what not to do. The size of every agency seems to grow faster than our increase in citizens. When you see what we spend on illegals you can should be see why every agency grows. Some States now encourage illegals and prison inmates to vote to keep the the Socialist Progressive Democrats in power. I believe that at least 90% of all government employees are near rabid liberal Democrats. This is why we need more rabid conservatives to make up the government function on an even basis.

Trump has stayed on the path he promised to clean up what he called the swamp. What he has flushed out are many known as “Republican in Name Only” or “Rinos”. The biggest surprise for me it was John McCain who helped the Democrats keep Obamacare alive. If Trump stays on his promised path and the Rino’s keep voting with the Democrats it may stop the swamp draining. The only hope to keep America a Republic is for the people to finally force a vote for term limits in Congress. If that fails America will be Socialist on or before 2030 which will be my 100th year, dead or alive.

STATISTICS & POLITICS! AMERICA DROWNS IN INFORMATION.

DO WE HAVE TOO MUCH INFORMATION?

Believe it or not if you have a device to connect you with the internet You can read about anything, especially American politics, and never read it all. By the time you think you have read every word there will be more to read than you had when you started.

I will share an old story I heard about fifty years ago.

“A business owner was convinced that his CPA was no longer capable. He invited three new potential accountants to come for an interview.

The first was invited in and was asked a simple question, how much is two and two. Without hesitation he answered “four”. He was excused.

The second one was invited in, asked the same question and provided the same answer, “four”. He was excused.

The third was invited in and asked the same question. Much to the owners surprise he answered  “What number do you want it to be? He was hired immediately.

This story exactly describes our entire government and how it operates. If you take enough time you can get statistics to support any position or answer you are looking for. The amount of honesty, ethics and performance of everyone with power in Washington and the elected officials in every Democratic controlled State is questionable. I believe it might be just as bad in every State because politics controls every aspect of our lives today.

When the powerful can tell you what bathroom you can use you should know ethics have been discarded by one or a group of perverts. Politicians who scream about global warming are being paid to support anything questionable with power and money. Again statistics can find any answer you want if you selectively try long and hard enough.

Anyone who has watched our Federal Judges including the Supreme Court as long as I have and believes they render decisions that meet our Constitution and other laws need to visit a “shrink”. They get nominated and appointed for life by elected officials to support the political party in power. If you care, take time to ask why every political decision by the Supreme Court usually ends with a 5 to 4 decision. Occasionally like Roberts decision on Obamacare when his tie breaking vote smelled like a dead rat. Did he get paid, we will never know?     

To make my point I will share some statistics gathered from the Internet for January 24th. With all of the massive amount of money used to skew facts I question political honesty of these supposedly factual numbers. Most of the data presented is supposedly generated from calls to actual voters. There is no way to guarantee they are actual voters. I am 87 years old and I have never been contacted by one of these pooling companies.       

First look at the President’s performance.

After nearly every poll in America predicted that Hillary would be elected I have no confidence in anyone anymore. If 56% or 59% of our voters are anti-Trump, America is in deep dodo. We have this one chance to clean politics and the big money will decide this year’s elections just like they have until Trump beat the money powerful in 2016.

Now look at now look over Congress approval rating.

With the growth in the army of people who are required to support one Congressman. The 15% and 18% figures could be the individuals who must number in the thousands and their families and close friends. That is if any of the 535 have a friend? I have found no one who thinks Congress can do anything correct and if they make a decision no one agrees but them.

When I saw this result these polls reveal they must be rigged with the same people who the pollsters used to report that Hillary would win in a cake walk in 2016.

Real Americans are sick and tired of watching our government grow, create regulations, wreck entire industries like Coal and end up with a welfare army of Aliens, illegal Aliens and far too many Americans unemployed. Watching jobs leave for foreign countries by the millions and our factories boarded up has been miserable.

Fellow Americans we have a new leader in the Washington “Swamp”. He has rolled up his sleeves donned waders and is kicking ass to help Americans. He is fighting the Demoncrats, nearly alone, fighting the RINO’s like John McCain and Lindsey Graham who have tried to torpedo his Presidency along with Chuck “Slimey” Schumer, the Clinton Machine and Nancy, “Face lift Queen” Pelosi.

The primary enemy of the Conservatives and the people is the large networks and news networks including far too many liberals at Fox News like Juan Williams and Shepard Smith.

It is refreshing to see how many companies are bringing back jobs and parked profits from overseas and reopening facilities or building new ones to hire American workers. Drying up the welfare army and putting lifetime welfare leeches to work for their benefits like Roosevelt did in the 1930’s when I was a boy. Why are the Demoncrats pushing to increase the volume of illegals to put on welfare when Americans need the better jobs?

Stop listening or reading the rigged news being spewed from the media supporting the liberal movement to Socialize our Country. Socializing America is a step to remove freedoms millions of Americans have died to protect.

God bless Donald Trump who is our last chance to remain free.

A FEW QUESTIONS FOR THE BIASED MEDIA?


My friend, Peter Forrest, sent me these questions and it seems more than interesting to ask your “Liberal Friends” to see if they can explain even one. I want to ask you to please share any answers you might receive as I don’t have even one Liberal” that will speak to me. Even my own liberal family members no longer speak to me. I promise to print any answers but I doubt I will get any feedback as Liberals” never have an answer to anything I ask them. They just shrug their shoulders and walk away. I have no idea who compiled these questions and if anyone knows, tell me so I can give them credits.

QUESTIONS

Since only 8 million people have ObamaCare, how will 24 million people die after it is repealed? Will 16 million people be randomly shot?

If Donald Trump deleted all of his emails, wiped his server with Bleachbit and destroyed all of his phones with a hammer, would the Mainstream Media suddenly lose all interest in the story and declare him innocent?

If women do the same job for less money, why do companies hire men to do the same job for more money?

If you rob a bank in a Sanctuary City, is it illegal or is it just an ‘Undocumented Withdrawal’?

Each ISIS attack now is a reaction to Trump policies, but all ISIS attacks during Obama’s term were due to Climate Change and a plea for jobs. Why?

After the London ‘Lone Wolf’ terrorist attack government officials have arrested at least eight other ‘Lone Wolves’ who had conspired with the original ‘Lone Wolf’ in planning the ‘Lone Wolf’ attack.  Even though all involved are Muslims, you can be assured, the ‘Lone Wolf’ attack has nothing at all to do with Islam, just like the other 1000 plus ‘Lone Wolf’ attacks by Muslims, are completely unassociated with Islam. Why?

We are scolded every day to stop calling “Freebies” ‘Entitlements’. Welfare, Food Stamps, WIC, ad nauseum are not entitlements. They are taxpayer-funded handouts, and should be called, What?

Social Security and Veterans Benefits are Entitlements because the people receiving them are entitled to them. They were earned and paid for by the recipients. Why does the Media keep listing them with other Freebies?

If Muslims want to run away from a Muslim country, does that mean they’re Islamophobic?

If Liberals don’t believe in biological gender then why did they march for women’s rights?

If Trump was involved with the Russians hacking the Presidential election. How did the Russians get Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the DNC to steal the Primary from Bernie Sanders? How did Russia get Donna Brazile to leak debate questions to Hillary Clinton in advance of the debates?

Why is it that Democrats think Super-delegates are necessary for their nominations, but they have a problem with the Electoral College? Aren’t they used for the same reasons?

If you don’t want the FBI involved in elections, why did the Democrats nominate someone who’s being investigated by the FBI.

If Hillary’s got paid $250,000 an hour for her speeches, how come no one showed up to her free ones?

The DNC is mad at Russia because they ‘think’ they are trying to manipulate our election by exposing that the DNC was manipulating our election, why?

Just one more thing on Trump’s ‘Locker Room Vocabulary’. Why is it that Liberals and the Media are upset about the words Trump used 11 years ago but they are comfortable with strange adult men using the Ladies Room with your Wives and Daughters?  ANON

I feel sure I could keep adding more questions but the Liberals will ignore theses as no one forces them to follow the rules. If we has an honest media and Federal Employees that were not biased it would be nice to watch closely if any of these questions ever appear again. When the FBI can’t be trusted who can you trust?


If the Democrats were made to follow the rules and laws they would never get anyone elected at the national level again. Draining the swamp has been found to be wider and deeper than even Trump expected. Let’s all try to help.

SIC’EM PRESIDENT TRUMP!

Am I the only American that feels this way?

It is so refreshing to watch a born leader wade into Washington and make a difference. Congress, Federal Judges, too many bureaucrats, lobbyist, the national media and the seemingly endless number of non-profit tax evading groups are being exposed as “Elite” Americans. I can remember when they were no registered lobbyist in Washington and today there must be approaching 10,000. They represent every other country on Earth and to combine all of these paid individuals with a name I shall use “Bloodsuckers”. I wish I knew exactly how many ex-military, ex-Congressmen, ex-government bureaucrats and spy’s we have living off of so much money that would likely pay off the National Debt? If we had a media that cared about the people these costs would be published every day like the stock market averages. 

The tax evading pressure groups and “Bloodsuckers” have nothing but self interest for so many different different interest it would take a year just to list them all. The worst of the lot have far too much money to be used to buy votes in Congress. It must take hundreds of Congressional aides to be bribed just to get them access to the 535 “Super Elites” we call Senators or Representatives. Not all of these power brokers reside in Washington so each of these 535 must have offices in their home State district to listen to the folks and again the “Bloodsuckers” also work each of these District offices. I live in District #1 in Texas and there appears to be offices in several towns in Deep East Texas.

It would be interesting to see exactly how many people are employed by the 535 Congresspersons by District and State? Asking for the costs would be impossible.

It would be nice to know exactly how much it Costs to fund Congress each year?

I wonder how many people are necessary to operate the Supreme Court? They only function a few months out of each year. What does it costs? What do the people do the rest of the year? 

Surely someone knows exactly how many automobiles and airplanes are owned by the Federal government? By the time you found out the number would be useless.

Of the cajillion Federal Judges scattered across America poses other questions? Do they all have the same exact budgets. What does the Judiciary costs the taxpayers? I would make these “elites” work 9-5 every day like Joe “Six Pack”.

It is amazing in this day of face to face communications that the Senate vote on Obamacare had to be delayed until John McCain, “Judas of Arizona” could be released from the hospital. Then he was probably flown by air ambulance to the Capitol to vote to keep Obamacare he has been screaming to scrap for 8 years. Anyone who believes that he was not bought off, probably by George Soros, is insane. Just think if he had stayed in the hospital there would have been a tie vote and the Vice President could have broken the tie. We would be months ahead of agreeing to a health care system that did not reward Insurance companies and no telling how many “Bloodsuckers” across the land. Obamacare was great for the “Welfare Army” who refuse to plant lettuce and mow Congresspersons lawns. It was killing small businesses nation wide and no one cared. Whoops Donald Trump cared even if the Republicans in Congress sunk the ship.

Why do we still have to fly to Washington to vote. A small office in a strip mall could calculate Congressional votes with videotape form the 535 offices in each district and State. The US Capitol could be made into a historical museum like the other historical places in Washington DC. If Congress used the offices in each State it would drive the “Bloodsuckers” nuts and increase their travel costs to offset the Congressional travel. Can you imagine just how many Government employees would be free to find a legitimate job somewhere away from DC. Washington could return to a nice place without all of the gun-toting thieves and robbers who could move back to Chicago.

All of the Government employees displaced could work in the industrial sector that will be increased by President Trump and the “Lions of Industry” who shipped the millions of jobs to China, Mexico and other tax havens worldwide. Just taking the regulations off of the energy sector will make millions of jobs for Americans instead of foreign placements to serve the computer industry. Why don’t we educated Americans to fill these high paying jobs?

I could set here for the next year and never stop asking these questions but no one would likely read something 1,000,000,000 words long. In truth I doubt ten people will read this article that is less than 800 words. I’ll keep writing. How long????  C Brewer

WHAT DO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANT?

Watching Fox News, the only media outlet with sanity, and reading news from the blogosphere is devoid of what the people really desire. The only person in Congress who votes with the Democrats, Bernie Sanders, appears to explain what he wants. The rest of the Democrats in Congress have no idea what they want but are in lock step against anything the Republicans want. The leadership in Congress, Republicans, have so many different things they want only a wizard would ever decipher them. So far the only thing everyone on Congress agrees on is taking vacations.

People in California would likely vote to succeed from the Union and mandate Spanish as their language. When their taxes rose to pay for their welfare paradise they would be easily annexed by Mexico without any military protection. Hollywood would be happy, their State leadership would be happy but would the majority of the people be happy? I would be happy to lose the assortment of left wing nuts like Pelosi, Brown, Feinstein, Boxer and Maxine Waters. This would be a plus for Congress. I would hope our Texas esteemed Congressional loser, Sheila Jackson Lee, would immigrate to Mexiformia.

Next one would hope that Rahm Emanuel would encourage everyone in Illinois succeed from the union and create the country of “Mayhem”. This would allow Trump to build another wall around the entire new country. The average criminal could not swim out as his banned guns and the weight of ammo would cause him to drown. Sane people would move to Indiana or Wisconsin snd the killing rate would eventually eliminate everyone. I would be happy and Congress would be better, maybe.

Alaska has sent one Senator Lisa Murkowski to Congress that is obviously a Republican in Name Only (RINO). I hope the people of Alaska are happy with Obamacare while it destroys small business in every State in the union. No small business can survive if they provide healthcare in the US anymore. These Americans have no voice watching their meager profits go to the insurance giants while the people who do work are going broke with premiums that double every year. This does not make me happy as a company I own a part of, had to cancel insurance benefits or go broke. Are the people of Alaska proud of this Senator?

Kentucky suffers while another RINO, Rand Paul, just wants face time so he can try to be a President someday. His failure to support overturning Obamacare is destroying hard working people in every industry as even the large companies no longer provide insurance for new hires in every State. I suppose the people of Kentucky are happy? I am not.

On to Maine with Senator Susan Collins apparently makes the people happy by supporting Obamacare now. Like all of the maverick Senators so far she appears to just be bought off by special interest like Murkowski, Paul, McCain and now possibly joined by Mike Lee and one of my Senators, Ted Cruz. I could keep going but it would be redundant.

It would be wonderful if FOX NEWS would send out its array of news presenters to poll the people in every State to find out exactly what the people want. Congress operates on who pays the most to support or oppose everything. It appears that George Soros owns the entire Democratic party and every media outlet but FOX. Should he buy FOX the propaganda machine would be complete. His ownership of the Democrats makes it easy for him to find the few Rino’s he needs to manipulate the entire Congress. With this power he will own America if the people do not listen to Trump.

Folks in my opinion it boils down to a war on who runs America and its future. It is Soros or Trump. I like Trump as you must know. Soros will win if the people do not rise up and clear out Congress with some real Americans.

Everyone who might read this needs to speak up and it would be nice to see if anyone agrees with me? I do not expect anyone to tell me.  C Brewer

CONGRESS – ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE?

First let me define who are the people? People vote to elect Congresspersons. Voters are supposed to be 18 years old and US citizens. Our founders believed as I do that they should be 21 like I was when I first voted. Today Congress must feel that it should be 26 as they defined this as the age parents are responsible to care for them. This must still be the age our Senate feels to be the age of adult responsibility as they failed to overturn and repeal “Obamacare” that established this idiotic age requirement.

How dumb Americans have become to allow Congress to let an 18 year old child vote, but require a parent to be responsible for them until they are 26. I have shared this before but allow me to include my own path to adulthood to support my feeling voters should be 21. I graduated High School at 16. I enlisted, with my parents consent, in the US Naval Reserve when I reached the ripe old age of 17. Was I an adult, no, no, no. I just thought I was. My request for active duty was accepted long before I was 18. I can assure you after completion of “Boot Camp”, I was an adult in every facet of respect, responsibility and love of my country. I was still a boy when I got married at 18, became a father at 19 and I was an adult by then. I still had to wait until I was 22 to vote for a President.

Today we have children who usually graduate at 18 and are shipped off to college by parents who seem to feel they have done their job. They enter a college or university to be educated by professors who are not mainstream Americans. Ninety percent of the people who take over the minds of the children are left of center extremist who feel our forefathers were senseless when they created our Republic form of government. Most of these parents are good people but have no idea or concern that over the next four years their children are being brainwashed. Some, but not very many, of these children understand they are being manipulated and can get an education by ignoring the mind games.        

Little by little we have created a society that has allowed Congress to establish an “Elite Society” of Americans. They make laws that force the people to obey them and exempt themselves from having to comply, even after they leave office. Watching our Justice Department ignore lawless actions like we observed by the Clinton’s and other “Elite” class individuals is sickening. There were enough lawless actions by government employees over the last eight years to fill an entire prison. Supreme Court Justices can vote contrary to the Constitutional laws and never be even questioned. Congress is the only body that can impeach but they really don’t feel that “Elite Americans have to obey the laws. How many of you even know what Congress is elected to do? To help you, if you even care, the following might give you a brief idea.   

The United States Congress is the bicameral legislature of the federal government of the United States consisting of two chambers: the Senate and ,the House of Representatives.

The Congress meets in the Capitol in Washington, D.C. Both senators and representatives are chosen through direct election, though vacancies in the Senate may be filled by a gubernatorial appointment. Congress has 535 voting members: 435 resentatives and 100 Senators. The House of Representatives has six non-voting members in addition to its 435 voting members. These members can, however, sit on congressional committees and introduce legislation. These members represent Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The members of the House of Representatives serve two-year terms representing the people of a single constituency, known as a “district”. Congressional districts are apportioned to states by population using the United States Census results, provided that each state has at least one congressional representative. Each state, regardless of population or size, has two senators. Currently, there are 100 senators representing the 50 states. Each senator is elected at-large in their state for a six-year term, with terms staggered, so every two years approximately one-third of the Senate is up for election.

To be eligible for election, a candidate must be aged at least 25 (House) or 30 (Senate), have been a citizen of the United States for seven (House) or nine (Senate) years, and be an inhabitant of the electing state when elected.

The Congress was created by the Constitution of the United States and first met in 1789, replacing in its legislative function the Congress of the Confederation. Although not constitutionally mandated, in practice since the 19th century, Congress members are typically affiliated to the Republican Party or to the Democratic Party and only rarely to a third party or as independents.

The Progressive-Liberal wingnuts have successfully lowered the voting age, placed enough radical Jurists on the Supreme Court to ignore the Constitution and infiltrated every College and University that exists. Their desire for Socialism could be fulfilled by emigrating to Europe that would make everyone here happier.

Congress has vacated their responsibilities by creating the “Elite” status that “MUST” be eliminated. As they are the only ones with the power to erase the super status they have created the people must do their job. A seat in Congress is filled by the people voting for someone. In most cases today anyone could be better than the featherbedding array of “Elites” we have now serving.

Congress is leaderless folks. Any group of Americans that care would not take a month’s vacation when the people are suffering. The Republicans that voted to keep Obamacare just because they hate Trump should be charged with treason. The Democrats that saddled the people with this Socialist monstrosity called Obamacare should be in prison too.

Until the people demand term-limits on Congress this debacle will just get worse. People like Pelosi, McConnell, Schumer and Ryan could not lead or manage a hamburger business. My apology to those who know how to manage a hamburger business but most voters today would freak out if I had said IBM, Texaco or other Fortune 500 businesses.

A few years ago the IRS took over a combination bar and house of ill repute in Nevada which was legal. It only took the government a few months to let the place go bankrupt. Had Congress been responsible, they would have moved it to Washington, legalized it and built a new building to house it. As its services would be free to Congresspersons it would have then gone bankrupt.

The biggest enemy of the people today is the 535 “Elite” Congresspersons. They will continue to bankrupt the USA and work halftime until the voters throw them out. Why not start next year when 435 in the House are up for re-election. It will take longer to flush the Senate toilet as only a third are up for re-election next year.

I’M BACK, AFTER SOME MIND REPAIR!

It was amazing to see so many comments on the Facebook entry of my last article, “Closed for Repairs”. I really appreciate the few friends that seemed to be concerned if was quitting my writing. I just visited my WordPress site after a week of respite and was shocked that the “Closed for Repairs” posting was the number one article viewed by the world. An article that did not have a single word intriguing connotations. The fact that everyone who was interested in reading nothing was an American. How would you perceive this phenomenon? 

During the same period not one person viewed my article on the healthcare debacle. That is sad news that more Americans are interested in nothing than the health care issues. This coupled with the obvious fact that the Senate also does not care proves that idiocracy is out of control.  When some hate filled Republicans led by John McCain, two “Dizzy” females and some other Senators who exhibit mental problems voted with 100% with the Democrats to kill the healthcare work was saddening. Supporting the Democrats because they despise the President shows it is time to drain the “Senate Swamp”. The hate filled vote made it clear that the Senate and has no concern for the people suffering from Obummercare. Folks next year we can rid Congress of several Senators who voted to keep Obamacare.  

I deeply enjoyed my respite from watching the daily news. After a few days with reruns of Mash, Lucy & Desi, Maude and other oldies and it was mind refreshing. It is a crying shame that the illegals, African Americans, Millennials or Generation Y misfits have zero knowledge of a time when Americans actually liked each other.

As it has rained for the last two days and golf was not possible I watched the news again this morning. It is obvious the media like Congress have forgotten the healthcare issues. It was a small surprise to learn that Senate Majority leader, Mitch McConnell, took time away from his 24 day vacation to express that the President expects too much activity from the Senate. Folks this is the most obvious admission of how the “Swamp” hates Trump and the Senate is overworked. It would be refreshing to know how many people who read this article agree that Congress is “Overworked”?

Other news revealed that Mueller’s “Witch Hunt” has expanded to dig into some individual’s history hoping to discover if they ever “Jaywalked” or sipped Russian Vodka?

It was refreshing to note that Trump’s warning to North Korea was disturbing to Senator Feinstein as provoking the enemy. I expect that her staff was tired of the August vacation and woke her up to get some face time on TV. After all, the people may forget her while she is vacationing. I served in the US Navy during the Korean War nearly 70 years ago. News clips this morning showed Presidential warnings to North Korea from John Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, George Bush to stop their nuclear ambitions. No one slowed them down. They made great advancements while Obama courted the Muslim world and dismantled our military and nuclear capability. Now they threaten an atomic attack and who cares? The United States should have wiped them out when I was in the military. Congress is now having a 24 day vacation. America would be better off if all 100 Senators would just resign.

The most repeated news today is 1,000,000 news clips of North Korean leaders prancing and pictures of missile launches. I can never expect to see programs on TV that show harmony like I enjoyed as a boy and younger man. So I just decided to watch reruns of “Blue Bloods” and admire Tom Selleck, my TV and movie hero. I could not find any John Wayne movies and admire my oldest hero. He has already reached the age I will be on the 31st, 87 and hoping. I am praying that it will not rain in the morning so I can leave my Lazy Boy and fire up my golf cart.

I doubt many will read this but it allowed me to escape watching the news for an hour. I think I will go grocery shopping and let Norma watck NCIS reruns.

AMERICANS ARE HURTING – “CONGRESS COULD CARE LESS”!

After you read this send me a message and tell me how Congress and three vindictive Senators can take a month off when people are suffering. Our Congress is inhumane to keep the Obamacare debacle alive. I hope the voters remember every Democrat and the maverick RINO’s when they come up for re-election.

At the same time I can’t fathom why some news service does not compile a special report of actual facts of how health care costs are destroying working and retired Americans. If you hear younger Americans tell us seniors they are tired of paying for our Medicare they are not informed.

I will share some personal facts of how healthcare is effecting my retirement. I will also share two examples of the plight of two middle aged Americans, one is from my family regarding the insurance debacle. The sad part of this insurance disaster is that Congress and all government employees are exempt from the Obamacare disaster. They could care less as they have more than adequate insurance that we pay for most of their premiums with our taxes.

I retired nearly 24 years ago with one pension for 27 years service with what is now Lockheed-Martin. This provides us with a staggering $221.47 each month and no benefits. Now take a look at what Medicare provides and costs. We each pay $107.00 each month in premiums deducted from our Social Security, now named a Federal Entitlement. This is means tested and many retirees pay much more as they have higher incomes. We also pay for the first $185 of costs as a deductible or $370 total each year.

For the uninformed, Medicare only pays for 80% of medical costs and unless you are rich or a fool you have to buy a supplemental insurance policy to cover the 20%. This requires a policy just like those on Obamacare that is so-called competitive as the rates in each State are not the same. These premiums increase each year as you grow older regardless of your health. Being blessed with my 87th birthday this month and you reach this advanced age there is no competitive advantage to shop around for better rates as you are just too old. Currently the costs for Norma and I to be covered is $399.29 each month and these costs have increased twice in the past six months but who cares?

Bush #2 gave us old people another entitlement called Medicare part “D” for our drugs. This program is also competitive as you buy an insurance policy that has many options, choices and different premiums to chose from. These policies are so confusing my insurance agent for our Medicare refuses to even sell or recommend which insurance provider to buy from. As Norma takes much less prescription medication she has a policy with lower premiums and has a co-pay for her medication. In my case I have higher premiums and only have co-pay if their is no generic yet. Currently our monthly costs for prescribed drugs and premiums is about $210. In addition we take doctor recommended vitamins, aspirin, fish oil, bacteria for my colon and other assorted over the counter medical items. The Instaflex for my knees alone is $39 a month. This will easily average over $75 each month.

Speaking of my knees that are both bone on bone. My family doctor can inject steroids in my left knee every three months. I have to drive 128 miles to my referred Orthopedic Surgeon who administers three shots in my right knee every six months. Both doctors do not recommend surgery because I am just too old. Medicare pays for the steroid shots in my left knee and the shots injected by the Surgeon every six months. My main reason to include this information is to document why are there three and six month intervals. If I have to have the shots sooner Medicare will not pay for them. They cost $550 and $1800 each cycle. The doctors both told me there is no medical reason for the time periods but some bureaucrat in Washington decided that was what it would be. I do get a steroid shot in my right knee after four months as the series of shots never last six months.  

We have no coverage for dentistry work. Just yesterday I paid $210 to have my teeth cleaned and a getting a crown re-cemented in that came off when the hygienist was flossing my old teeth. Our average dental costs are $1500 each year.

Because I do not understand or trust the confusing Federal ograms I still maintain a catastrophic policy I have had for 50 years. It has a $25,000 deductible and cost $636 annually

To save you time our annual costs for healthcare is at least $13,279.00 at this time or $1,106.58 each month. Norma has not been admitted to a hospital since 1965 or 52 years ago. I have not been admitted to a hospital since 2004 or 13 years ago which means nothing for our insurance rates.

I hope those who think Medicare is free and are not government bureaucrats become aware of that planning for those “Golden Years” in advance is difficult.

Our daughter is in business for herself and is required to buy an Obamacare policy or pay a hefty tax penalty. She has not been hospitalized in the past seven years. Her policy premiums are some $800 a month and she has to pay $60 per visit any time she see’s her primary care doctor. She has no dental coverage and her policy has some other restrictions. It has a $6000 deductible clause. If her doctor refers her to a specialists the policy pays nothing until she reaches the $6,000. If the doctor send her to get any testing, X-Rays or lab work the policy pays nothing until the $6,000 deductible is met each year. If a generic drug exists they cost $5.00. If no generic drug exists the co-pay is extremely expensive. Some drugs are not even covered and she pays 100%. In the area she lives there are few choices and they keep disappearing as the insurance companies keep dropping out of the market. To keep her doctor she has been with for 25 years was a nightmare of bureaucratic paperwork.  

Can you imagine a government employee and especially a Congressperson screaming if they had a policy like hers or ours. They don’t have to worry as they are the new “Elite” class of Americans. When my grandchildren ask me what field of work to pursue I tell them either “healthcare” or “Government service”. These are the only fields with benefits as Obama killed benefits from most companies and the 40 hours work week. My son works for one of the largest companies in the world that offers no healthcare or retirement benefits to newly hired employees. Anyone who plans to live on Social Security is mindless. Why has this escaped exposure even from Fox News is scary?

I know a friend who works as hard as anyone I know. He is a maintenance worker and has no benefits. His wife also works and they have three small children. If she covers her husband and their children with her insurance she would have zero take home pay. The consequence is he and the three children must use Medicaid care where illegals have priority.

As the media or any well known journalist or commentator or even a well known Blog writer has never attempted to tell the real stories I will publish your story if desired? Maybe just one person in power in Washington might really understand.

I give up on Congress to help as they just play power games. Other matters are understandably important but to just sweep healthcare under the rug is hurting far too many deserving Americans. When two female Senators and John Mc Cain sank the repeal of Obamacare they betrayed their trust. Women I can understand are concerned about abortions and free birth control pill for even those on welfare. McCain who reversed his last vote, just voted no to punish Trump politically. Every pregnant woman who cares for everyone is still being punished because of these three Senators who hate President Trump. A really sad day for America folks when a “has been” Senator killed all hope to fix our healthcare to just stab Trump in the back. They used to call this Treason but Congress persons do not fear or support our laws they can just ignore them. Washington is broken but who cares? I do, do you? AMERICA-NO WONDER WE ARE BROKE!

My friend, Ron Jenkins, shared this with me and it makes me sick. When Congress and the executive branch of our government sit on their political butts and allow this travesty to drain the treasury all legal citizens need to rebel. Can you even imagine how many thousands of hospitals can be this bad or worse. If any citizen reads this and approves of this fiasco they are the problem. No wonder we are 20 trillion dollars in debt. I can find nothing to show that Congress even cares. Trump needs to drain the swamp called Congress and demand that the people be able to vote for term limits. Sick!  C Brewer   

Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas,Texas is a fairly famous institution and for a variety of reasons:

  1. John F. Kennedy died there in 1963
  2. Lee Harvey Oswald died there shortly after
  3. Jack Ruby-who killed Lee Harvey Oswald, died there a few years later..by coincidence

“On the flip side, Parkland is also home to the second busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year. (That’s almost 44 per day—every day)

A recent patient survey indicated that 70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants.  That’s 11,200 anchor babies born every year just in Dallas.

According to the article, the hospital spent $70.7 million delivering 15,938 babies in 2004 but managed to end up with almost $8 million dollars in surplus funding. Medicaid kicked in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.

The average patient in Parkland is maternity wards is 25 years old, married and giving birth to her second child.  She is also an illegal immigrant.  By law, pregnant women cannot be denied medical care based on their immigration status or ability to pay.

OK, fine.  That doesn’t mean they should receive better care than everyday, middle-class American citizens.  But at Parkland Hospital, they do.  ” Parkland Memorial Hospital has nine prenatal clinics.  NINE.

The Dallas Morning News article followed a Hispanic woman who was a patient at one of the clinics and pregnant with her third child—her previous two were also born at Parkland.  Her first two deliveries were free and! the Mexican native was grateful because it would have cost $200 to have them in Mexico.  This time, the hospital wants her to pay $10 per visit and $100 for the delivery but she was unsure if she could come up with the money.  Not that it matters, the hospital won’t turn her away.  (I wonder why they even bother asking at this point.)

“How long has this been going on?  What are the long-term affects?

Well, another subject of the article was born at Parkland in 1986 shortly after her mother entered the US illegally – now she is having her own child there as well  (That’s right, she’s technically a US citizen)

These women receive free prenatal care including medication, nutrition, birthing classes and child care classes.  They also get freebies such as car seats, bottles, diapers and formula.

Most of these things are available to American citizens as well but only for low-income applicants and even then, the red tape involved is almost insurmountable.

Because these women are illegal immigrants, they do not have to provide any sort of legitimate identification – no proof of income.  An American citizen would have to provide a social security number which would reveal their annual income – an illegal immigrant need only claim to be poor and the hospital must take them at their word.

“My husband is a pilot for the United States Navy (yes, he fought in Iraq ) and while the health care is good, we Navy wives don’t get any of these perks!  Car seats?  Diapers?  Not so much.  So my question is this: Does our public medical care system treat illegal immigrants better than American citizens?  Yes, it does!

As I mentioned, the care I have received is perfectly adequate but it’s bare bones, meat and potato medical care – not top of line.

Their (the illegals’) medical care is free – simply because they are illegal immigrants?  Once again, there is no way to verify their income.

Parkland Hospital offers indigent care to Dallas County residents who earn less than $40,000 per year.  (They also have to prove that they did not refuse health coverage at their current job.  Yeah, the ‘free’ care is not so easy for Americans.)

There are about 140 patients who received roughly $4 million dollars for un-reimbursed medical care.  As it turns out, they did not qualify for free treatment because they resided outside of Dallas County so the hospital is going to sue them!  Illegals get it all free!  But U. S citizens who live outside of Dallas County get sued!  How stupid is this?

As if that isn’t annoying enough, the illegal immigrant patients are actually complaining about hospital staff not speaking Spanish.  In this AP story, the author speaks with a woman who is upset that she had to translate comments from the hospital staff into Spanish for her husband.  The doctor was trying to explain the situation to the family and the mother was forced to translate for her husband who only spoke Spanish.  This was apparently a great injustice to her.

In an attempt to create a Spanish-speaking staff, Parkland Hospital is now providing incentives in the form of extra pay for applicants who speak Spanish.  Additionally, medical students at the University of Texas Southwestern for which Parkland Hospital is the training facility will now have a Spanish language requirement added to their already jammed-packed curriculum.  No other school in the country boasts such a ridiculous multi-semester (multicultural) requirement.

In the meantime, I have to end my column here.  I have to go buy a car seat.”

Remember that this is only ONE hospital in Dallas, Texas.  There are many more hospitals across our country that al! so have to deal with this.
