WHY IS AMERICA LIKE THIS TODAY?

HOW CAN ANY AMERICAN SUPPORT THIS?

I received this from my old friend Bob McGraw who loves in Florida. I feel sure this is happening nationwide. I just read this morning that one of the prime reasons we have two states that have filed suit against the Federal Government and got the President’s Executive Order stopped by a Federal Judge is students from the seven Muslim nations can’t get back to school. They probably have Pell Grants and the schools need our tax money so they can pay the Socialists Professors who have tenure.

What Trump needs to do is stop all of these free everything programs, especially for foreign students, and spend this money to help the thousands of American veterans who are both homeless and in need of decent healthcare. We treat these aliens immediately free and a veteran may have to wait two weeks to just see a doctor. Here where I live they have to travel over 60 miles one way to see a doctor. If they need any specialist care they have to ride a bus 150 miles to Houston, maybe overnight. Then a 150 trip back to Lufkin TX, then drive back home. That sad thing is an illegal can get 24/7 care at the ER here and I have to help pay for it.

Folks, we have so many of these programs administered by so many different government agencies no one has any idea what we waste. Americans need to unite and help Trump make America great again. Burning flags, destroying property, resisting change, unleashing our army of ambulance chasers to sue for idiotic reasons to delay everything is senseless. Surely there has to be at least one Democrat in Congress with enough care to help unite rather than divide our people. I we do have one, please stand up and help calm down the Anarchist destroying everything in sight. After you read the factual letter written by a teacher who would immediately be fired if she had signed the letter.

Any American who has critical needs that is overlooked by society or government in dire need of help

LETTER BY A FLORIDA TEACHER

Do you know that we have adult students at the school where I teach who are NOT U.S. citizens and who get the PELL Grant, which is a federal grant (no payback required) plus other federal grants to go to school?

One student from the Dominican Republic told me that she didn’t want me to find a job for her after she finished my program, because she was getting housing from our housing department and she was getting a PELL Grant which paid for her total tuition and books, plus money left over.

She was looking into WAIT which gives students a CREDIT CARD for gas to come to school, and into CARIBE which is a special program (check it out – I did) for immigrants and it pays for child care and all sorts of needs while they go to school or training. The one student I just mentioned told me she was not going to be a U.S. Citizen because she plans to return to the Dominican Republic someday and that she ‘loves HER country.’

I asked her if she felt guilty taking what the U.S. is giving her and then not even bothering to become a citizen and she told me that it doesn’t bother her, because that is what the money is there for!

I asked the CARIBE administration about their program and if you ARE a U.S. citizen, you don’t qualify for their program. And all the while, I am working a full day, my son-in-law works more than 60 hours a week, and everyone in my family works and pays for our education.

Something is wrong here. I am sorry, but after hearing that they want to sing the National Anthem in Spanish – enough is enough. That’s a real slap in the face. It was written by Francis Scott Key and should be sung word for word the way it was written. The news broadcasts even gave the translation — not even close.

I don’t care whether this offends someone or not but this is MY COUNTRY. IF IT IS YOUR COUNTRY SPEAK UP — please pass this along. I am not against immigration — I just expect immigrants to come through like everyone else. Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes, live by the rules AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE as all other immigrants have in the past — and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

WHY DEMOCRATS WIN ELECTIONS – STUPIDITY + FRINGE BENEFITS!

This article is a follow-up to the one I published yesterday. Democrats, most in Congress, the main stream media and our President will do everything in their power to deny the facts you will find hard to believe but they are true. This is why America is on a hell-bent course of politically designed self-destruction. The sad part is no one seems to care anymore as we race towards a monetary meltdown like Greece.

When I first read the scenario my CPA daughter sent me I thought it was a joke. The sick part of this is far too many Americans and probably illegal aliens have already found this flock of geese (Obama, Rinos, and Democrat’s) that lay golden eggs.

THE SECRET TO FINANCIAL SUCCESS!

After the recent Supreme Court ruling this could now be a “he and she”, “he and he”, “she and she” or I suppose “a “Muslim and his goat”. The scenario will use a man and his girlfriend as the example. You can have fun using different combinations to see that all it will take is more actions by the Court to legalize threesomes and the goats. The reality is they can all now or soon will be able to live happily in freebie heaven. Until the well runs dry.

Follow these thirteen easy steps:

1. Just don’t get married.

2, Use a parent’s address for your mail.

3. The man then buys a house.

4. He then rents the house to his girlfriend who has two of his kids.

5. Section 8 will pay her $900 a month for a 3-bedroom home

6. Girlfriend signs up for ObamaCare and the guy doesn’t have to pay anything for family insurance

7. Girlfriend enrolls in college for free being a single mother.

8. Girlfriend is eligible for $600 a month of food stamps

9. Girlfriend gets free cell phone.

10. Girlfriend gets free utilities.

11. Guy moves into home but, uses parent’s house for his mail.

12. Girlfriend claims one (1) kid & guy claims one (1) kid on taxes. Now you both get to claim Head of Household @ $1,800 credit.

13. Girlfriend then gets disability for being “crazy” or having a “bad back” @$1,800 a month & never has to work again.

This plan is perfectly legal & is being executed now by millions of people in America today.

A married couple with a stay – at – home – mom yields $0 Dollars.

An unmarried couple with a stay at home mom nets:

$21,600 disability + $10,800 free housing + $6,000 free ObamaCare + $6,000 in free food + $4,800 of free utilities + $6,000 Pell Grant money to spend + $12,000 a year in college tuition free from Pell Grant + $8,800 tax benefit for being a single mother = $75,000 a year in benefits

Any idea why the country is $18+ trillion in debt?

Any idea why so many children are born with no father?

All of those racing to get married must be blithering idiots.

WOW, the Democrats and their leader Obama have really provided change. The sad part Congress is too busy getting re-elected to even care.

By the way the one Congressman I did not include in my article yesterday was Louie Ghomert who is aware and also my Congressman. Get’em Louie.

THE WHITE SIDE OF THE STORY

My friends Mike & Emma Cobb sent me the following message that has no source identified. I do not know how or if Pat Buchanan actually wrote this as a letter, published it as an op-ed or actually broadcast it on his CNN show but the message is factual and represents many Americans views. The Democrats will scream that Obama is no longer running but then neglect to say who is running. How soon people forget that Clinton was called our “First Black President”. He was just a tool for his Marxists and beloved wife Hillary and her radical friends to do the same things Obama has done. If you think Obama is a radical put on your seatbelt as Hillary will skip Socialism and finish the Progressives goal to make America a Communists society. Then you will no longer own anything. Racism is the only way they can divide America and they have perfected the way to use it. Laugh now but when they take your savings and property your kids can shed the tears.  C Brewer

You say we need to have a conversation about race in America. Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to…. This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard.

And among them are these:

First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known. Jeremiah Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.

Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ’60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks — with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas — to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.

We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude??

Obama talks about new ‘ladders of opportunity’ for blacks. Let him go to Altoona? And Johnstown, and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for ‘deserving’ white kids…? Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America? Is it really white America’s fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?

Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?

As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?

Is Obama aware that black-on-white rapes are 100  times (1000 %) more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times (1390 %) as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?

We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena. And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.

Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago. This needs to be passed around because, this is a message everyone needs to hear!!!

OK……….will you pass it on? I did but will you?

What a simple question. Answer, enough Americans were dumb enough to elect and re-elect a President that is better than the Pied Piper in leading idiots rather than rats to jump off of a financial cliff. My friend Dr. Forrest shared these “FACTS” that defy any sanity under any excuse that Congress, the President or the “lame” street media can possibly justify. They will blame this on low level employees like they did on the IRS witch hunts exposed last week.

BOSTON BOMBING FAMILY

The entire Tsarnaev family (Dad, Mom, 2 sons & 2 daughters) started receiving government assistance as soon as they set foot in our country.  As political refugees they were entitled to settlement assistance from day one. It did not take long for the oldest son to impregnate and marry the daughter of a doctor. This new little Muslim family began receiving 18 months of government assistance.  They only came off welfare after the naive young “wife” started working 70 hours a week while husband Tamerlan stayed home to builds bombs and plans to kill and injure the very Americans who have paid for his pathetic existence for the past 12 plus years.

A Breakdown of your and my investment into the Tsarnaev Family:

Section 8 housing

Free public healthcare

Food stamps and other EFT transfer payments

Federal Pell Grants for both sons and probably their daughters as well.  (That is $5200.00 per year for each son or daughter who attended a college.)

City of Cambridge also awarded a $2500 per year scholarship to the younger son.

Younger son also reportedly was receiving state college scholarship.

What did Americans who paid for these freebies receive for their investment:

Oldest son, was arrested for domestic battery on a former girlfriend.

His wife was arrested last year for shoplifting $1600 in merchandise from a Lord & Taylor store.  Mother is facing immediate arrest for failure to appear regarding this matter.

We are all well aware that the two sons combined to kill four people (3 Americans & a Chinese exchange student), severely injure 100 plus other people, carjacked another victim and only let him live when they found out that he was not an American citizen.

Now we have the two pathetic parents who returned to Russia two years ago, that still draw welfare from the State claiming the sons are innocent and are being framed by the same American government that allowed for their pathetic existence the past 12 plus years.

 Does this make you feel good all over?

How frigging dumb can Americans get?

Does this make you feel really good about paying your income taxes?

When are we going to stop to this madness?

OBAMASCARE = MEDISCARE!

OBAMASCARE = MEDISCARE!

Everyone currently on Medicare needs to wake up and understand exactly who is pushing grandma off the cliff. I am certain all Americans understand that Medicare is funded with taxes designed to provide Social Security and Medicare. To make sure everyone knows these taxes are only required to be paid by people who earn money working in private industry.

Look at the exceptions Obama purposely does not mention in his propaganda campaign. He gets a pass from exposure from the network news media that he and George Soros own and control. Let’s review some of the occupations that do not pay into the Sociality System;  Policemen, Firemen, Teachers, Government employees at all levels including the States, people on welfare, Unemployed workers, SSI disabled, prisoners, Pell grant students and Professors at State universities.

Oh, and before I forget to include, Dead people in the blue States and especially south Texas. ACORN is alive and functioning in every state under assumed names where necessary.

Now let’s look at Obama’s glorious record for job creation during his first and hopefully last term as President. He just cancelled Clintons “Work for Welfare” initiative. When the ones on welfare did work they paid Social Security taxes. The media just doesn’t feel this is important enough to report.

Just this year the Obama administration has added 2,000.000 more people drawing SSI disability from guess where, the Social Security Trust Fund that is broke. Regardless of age if they remain on this program for two years they will be able to receive free Medicare insurance. Medicare is not free for people who work or worked in private industry. I pay some $650 a month for my wife and I to have Medicare and it increases every year

Depending on whose facts or propaganda you follow, Obama has proudly created some 2,000,000 more jobs for additional government bureaucrats. He has increased the number of unemployed and underemployed by 11,000,000. He has added 14,000,000 people to the 25,000,000 who now receive food stamps. What a fantastic record to hide from while seeking re-election. He has eliminated over 60,000,000 people from having to pay Social Security taxes, “WOW”.

His crown jewel of accomplishments he shoved down the taxpayer’s throats was “Obamacare” or as I have tried to wake voters up should have been my title for this article.

 

OMAMASCARE, to fund his program he has taken over $700,000,000.00 from Medicare already. He tells us old people nothing will change in our coverage. If any American on Medicarebelieves this lie, they belong in a funny farm (Mental Institution). In fact any voter who believes Obama’s lies should be institutionalized. This should also include the 14,000,000 illegal aliens who will vote for him. All dead voters are exempt.

Can you imagine what it will cost when these people reach their retirement age? We currently have a shortage of “Rest Homes” to care for the elderly and disabled. When the mass of poor people and illegals reach old age and the need for public care, where will the money come from?

Seniors, are you satisfied that the 15 bureaucrats appointed by Obama will determine how much of the current Medicare coverage you will be left with? I had rather my doctor make my healthcare decisions like he does today, do you?

“Demoncrats” refuse to tell the truth about our economic crisis, WHY, because they have ruined the country. Sadly even the Republicans do not understand what is normally referred to as “common sense”. One thing is certain; they will do a slower job of creating Socialism than the current phonies in power in Washington D.C.  

Well, Obama and his Congressional stogies have reduced my retirement savings by 30%. They have assured that my heirs will never have the freedom I have enjoyed. They have destroyed the American dream of free enterprise. They have destroyed the future for the youth of America, who will have to pay for all of this madness.

Obama has caused the unemployment figure to be reduced by one. I will be 82 next week and I just went back to work. I will now pay into the Social Security system, more to the IRS and to Virginia state income taxes.

This is going to surprise a lot of people who know I live in Texas and even some of my family and close friends. I helped start a company in Virginia some 20 years ago and I have paid Virginia state income taxes for nothing in return. This was my penalty for creating jobs for all of these years. Now I have been advised by Obama himself that I did not create these jobs, the government did. Unfortunately the government did or does not pay my taxes. They only created an economy that robbed me of my savings. If this evil person is re-elected I doubt that the savings they have left me with will be worth a dime on the dollar.

I challenge anyone to dispute this message in writing. I will be happy to post any significant factual corrections and excuses for the current debacle in D.C. I have posted over 460 articles on this blog in the past 22 months and only received 2 negative comments. One was posted and the other came from someone at a “Funny Farm”.

EDUCATION TEXAS-SHOULD TESTING BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN TEACHING?

 

 

The good news for teachers is that the ill-fated Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) testing will be given a well deserved funeral in 2011. This was an unfunded mandate that never deserved a breath and actually replaced valuable teacher time. Teachers were forced to teach for the test rather than teach to have students gain knowledge.

The bad news is our illustrious Legislature mandated 12 end-of–course assessments for high school students in Senate Bill 1031 in 2007 and created new graduation requirements for an additional year of math and science plus grade 3-8 assessments in House Bill 3 in 2009. This resulted in a new State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness or STAAR test to replace TAKS. Wow!

So STAAR grades 3-8 test will include:

Grade 3 Reading and Math

Grade 4 Reading, Math and Writing

Grade 5 Reading, Math and Science

Grade 6 Reading and Math

Grade 7 Reading, Math and Writing

Grade 8 Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies.

STAAR High School tests will include:

English I, English II, English III, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, World Geography, World History, and United States History. 

In plain language the new tests will be used beginning in the 2011-2012 school year. Students entering ninth grade next year will be the first who must meet the extra course in math and science and be subjected to the end-of-course testing requirements. By the way they must also pass their classes, in order to earn a diploma.

Another tidbit you have to search for is what does all of this STAAR surprise cost? A concerned citizen, using the open record law found the answer. The STAAR testing program has been awarded to a for-profit company in the amount of $468,382,617.00 that will cover the period from 2010-2015.

By the way, there has been no additional training developed for the K-12 administrators or teachers and they face not having textbooks or any preparatory classes to prepare students for the additional science/math requirements. Like the TAKS program teachers will be forced to teach to the STAAR requirements. Any failure of students to pass the tests will be blamed on the teachers like happened when TAKS produced negative results.

If our Superintendents and teachers were allowed to demand discipline there would be no need for a testing program. It is criminal that teachers must have liability insurance to protect their personal property. No wonder we have a broken system. It should be no surprise that our Texas education system in our prisons is highly successful, why? There is no discipline problem with prisoners. Why can’t educators accept that until teachers and administrators are allowed to demand discipline, wasting money with testing is irresponsible! They do not care.

Texas current academic performance measured with all states has diminished over the past few years and we are planning to slash the state funding as much as 20%. It appears that someone in Austin is back to smoking weeds. Only dreamers like the State Board of Education and the legislature can develop these pie-in-the-sky grandiose programs. They believe that they can cut spending and snap their fingers and all Texas students will be ready for the universities and we will have thousands of Academics and Rocket Scientists, available to find unemployment?

When will someone in America wake up and admit that every child will not attend a college or university. We spend billions year after year preparing all children to go to a place of higher learning, knowing full well most will never go.

America is the only industrialized nation on the planet that has little or no trades education for those who will eventually be policemen, firefighters, plumbers, carpenters, cosmetologists, small business owners, etc. Maybe if we could have courses to prepare some students for a political future, we could reduce the costs of our Congress and Legislatures. Most politicians are lawyers and they could be free to return to doing the legal work they were educated to perform. The way they have screwed up America, I suspect some would have to be re-educated on how to chase ambulances again!

For those who read my article on education in the Texas prisons, providing free trades education in high school might help the ones who are lost or drop out of school. Knowledge that would help them find jobs might keep some from joining gangs, selling drugs or other criminal activity. They would fit into society at graduation. Now, if they desire to learn a trade after high school, it is not free and the ones who can’t afford higher education certainly can’t afford the trade school fees.

The only way to get a free education today without grants is to go to prison. It would be nice if the U.S. Department of Education could provide PELL grants for a trade’s education initiative. They spend billions annually to send the under-privileged and the ill-prepared to a college or university with little or no hope that the majority will graduate. They try to make the shoe fit even if it is impossible and accomplish a ten percent result. If we would evaluate every child after the eighth grade and have two courses of opportunity, trades versus academics, we would have the right shoe on the right foot.

What I have outlined is nothing more than common sense. Sadly the academics and politicians that design and fund education were never subjected to a course in common sense and most have never had to make a payroll every week. The really sad part is they really do not care about our children as they just want power and prestige.
