VIETNAMESE IMMIGRANT!

My friend Ron Jenkins shared this wonderful story that many Americans will never understand. Today we let illegals flood us with lifelong welfare professionals that seldom add any value to our society, just costs. When people come to improve themselves we add value to America instead of a lifetime of costs borne by we the Taxpayers for a lifetime of costs instead of  adding value. WHY? To help the Democrats get more votes.  C Brewer

The difference between legal and illegal.

This is something everyone in America should read….It looks like we did some good after all!

On Saturday, July 24th, 2010 the town of Prescott Valley, AZ, hosted a Freedom Rally.  Quang Nguyen was asked to speak on his experience of coming to America and what it means.  He spoke the following In dedication to all Vietnam Veterans.  Thought you might enjoy hearing what he had to say:

Start Quote:

35 years ago, if you were to tell me that I am going to stand up here speaking to a couple thousand patriots, in English, I’d laugh at you.  Man, every morning I wake up thanking God for putting me and my family in the greatest country on earth.  I just want you all to know that the American dream does exist and I am living the American dream.  I was asked to speak to you about my experience as a first generation Vietnamese-American, but I’d  rather speak to you as an American.

If you hadn’t noticed, I am not white and I feel pretty comfortable with my people.  I am a proud US citizen and here is my proof. It took me 8 years to get it, waiting in endless lines, but I got it, and I am very proud of it.

I still remember the images of the Tet offensive in 1968, I was six years old.  Now you might want to question how a 6-year-old boy could remember anything. Trust me, those images can never be erased. I can’t even imagine what it was like for young American soldiers, 10,000 miles away from home, fighting on my behalf.

35 years ago, I left South Vietnam for political asylum.  The war had ended.  At the age of 13, I left with the understanding that I may or may not ever get to see my siblings or parents again.  I was one of the first lucky 100,000 Vietnamese allowed to come to the US.  Somehow, my family and I were reunited 5 months later, amazingly, in California.  It was a miracle from God.

If you haven’t heard lately that this is the greatest country on earth, I am telling you that right now.  It was the freedom and the opportunities presented to me that put me here with all of you tonight.  I also remember the barriers that I had to overcome every step of the way.  My high school counselor told me that I cannot make it to college due to my poor communication skills.  I proved him wrong.  I finished college.  You see, all you have to do is to give this little boy an opportunity and encourage him to take and run with it.  Well, I took the opportunity and here I am.

This person standing tonight in front of you could not exist under a socialist/communist environment.  By the way, if you think socialism is the way to go, I am sure many people here will chip in to get you a one-way ticket out of here.  And if you didn’t know, the only difference between socialism and communism is an AK-47 aimed at your head.  That was my experience.

In 1982, I stood with a thousand new immigrants, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and listening to the National Anthem for the first time as an American.  To this day, I can’t remember anything sweeter and more patriotic than that moment in my life.

Fast forwarding, somehow I finished high school, finished college, and like any other goofball 21 year old kid, I was having a great time with my life I had a nice job and a nice apartment in Southern California.  In some way and somehow, I had forgotten how I got here and why I was here.

One day I was at a gas station, I saw a veteran pumping gas on the other side of the island.  I don’t know what made me do it, but I walked over and asked if he had served in Vietnam.  He smiled and said yes.

I shook and held his hand.  This grown man’s eyes began to well up.  I walked away as fast as I could and at that very moment, I was emotionally rocked.  This was a profound moment in my life.  I knew something had to change in my life.  It was time for me to learn how to be a good citizen.  It was time for me to give back.

You see, America is not just a place on the map, it isn’t just a physical location.  It is an ideal, a concept.  And if you are an American, you must understand the concept, you must accept this concept, and most importantly, you have to fight and defend this concept.  This is about Freedom and not free stuff.  And that is why I am standing up here

Brothers and sisters, to be a real American, the very least you must do is to learn English and understand it well.  In my humble opinion, you cannot be a faithful patriotic citizen if you can’t speak the language of the country you live in.  Take this document of 46 pages – last I looked on the Internet, there wasn’t a Vietnamese translation of the U.S. Constitution.  It took me a long time to get to the point of being able to converse and until this day, I still struggle to come up with the right words. It’s not easy, but if it’s too easy, it’s not worth doing. Before I knew this 46-page document, I learned of the 500,000 Americans who fought for this little boy. I learned of the 58,000 names inscribed on the black wall at the Vietnam Memorial.  You are my heroes.  You are my founders.

At this time, I would like to ask all the Vietnam veterans to please stand.  I thank you for my life.  I thank you for your sacrifices, and I thank you for giving me the freedom and liberty I have today.  I now ask all veterans, firefighters, and police officers, to please stand.  On behalf of all first generation immigrants,

I thank you for your services and may God bless you all.

My friend and often guest writer, Ron Jenkins, a retired US Air force Officer sent me this wonderful message that put a tear in this old Navy mans eyes. It is a shame that most Americans have no idea what our special military families endure. C Brewer
Ron, I received this from an old friend………..
Eglin Joint Base Command located near Ft. Walton, Florida, is presently the largest Military Complex in the world and encompasses a large contingent of Air Force units, Naval Warfare units, and the 7th Army Special Forces and 6th Army Rangers. My home is exactly 5 miles outside the main gate of Eglin AFB.

Most folks in the USA don’t live in a Military Town, with lots of guys in uniform walking the streets and jets overhead daily.  They go on with their lives unaware of what a Military Town is all about.  And that’s OK… but I want to share with you what it’s like to live in a Military Town.

We see guys in uniform all the time, we have state of the art, high-performance aircraft in the air nearby all day long.  We hear the SOUND OF FREEDOM when an F-22 or F-35 streaks over the house… and we read in the local paper, sometimes daily, but at least weekly, of the loss of one of our own in combat in the Middle East.  And that is what brings me to the reason for this email.

Staff Sergeant Mark DeAlencar was 37 years old, had a family and was a Green Beret with the 7th Army Special Forces stationed here in the Fort Walton area.  He was killed on April 8, 2017, while fighting Islamic State in eastern Afghanistan.

In January of this year, he was deployed for the second time to Afghanistan.  He promised his adopted daughter, Octavia, that he would be home for her High School Graduation.  He didn’t make it.  But she went to graduation anyway.  And in the audience were eighty (80) US 7th Armed Special Forces soldiers from her dad’s unit in full Parade Dress Uniform. Additionally, they brought THEIR FAMILIES to be with them, as well.

And as Octavia ascended the steps to the stage to receive her diploma THEY ALL SILENTLY STOOD UP.  And when she was presented her diploma they ALL CHEERED, CLAPPED, WHISTLED… and YES, CRIED.  Everyone in attendance then stood up and cried and cheered.

Octavia had graduated and yes she had lost her Dad…but she had found 80 other DADS to stand there with her and take his place.

I just wanted to share this moment with you… and remind you that THIS IS WHAT IT’S LIKE TO LIVE IN A MILITARY TOWN.

This is the real America we all love… and I’m proud to be part of it.

May God bless our men in uniform and their families who give so much.

Take a second to share this with everyone you know.  It’s the least we can do for Octavia and SSgt Mark DeAlencar, 7th Special Forces, United States Army.)

And these do-nothing, accomplishment-less, shameless, punk sports figures who are so proud of their juvenile take-a-knee crap…WOW

From A Marine General:

My friend, Ron Jenkins shared the following message from Geffrey B Higginbothal, Maj. Gen USMC (Ret.). I have not seen a better message to the youth of America and I am proud to share this. I have made some minor changes to keep from embarrassing anyone but anyone can see exactly what General Higginbothal expressed to the ungrateful youth of America that need their brain engaged.

I’ve been asking two simple questions lately;

  • When do “we” get mad?

  • When do we stop being passive

“If you are paid $25.00 an hour to show up to a rally to “counter” the other party using physical force and violence, you are not a “counter protester.”  You are a mercenary.  There is no need for further debate on this. You were paid to attack someone you don’t know for reasons that you couldn’t care enough about to go there for free. You did your “job” and collected your check and your reimbursement of expenses.  You’re a mercenary.  Not a Patriot. Not a Social Justice Warrior. Not a Defender of Freedom or Liberty. Not an upholder of Truth or Justice. None of those things you claim to be.  You are a mercenary.  And mercenaries are not lawful combatants and deserve whatever comes their way at the hands of the people they are attacking.

You have no 1st Amendment rights when you’re a mercenary.  Doesn’t matter what side you’re on. Doesn’t matter what cause you’re showing up to disrupt.  If you can’t express yourself peacefully through diplomatic means, then you better be prepared to meet your maker at the hands of someone who is only barely keeping their own violent tendencies at bay through a massive exercise of self-control.

I know it sounds romantic to attend these rallies and get s**t started with the other side. And when you’re young and passionate, it’s really easy to get whipped up into a frenzy of raw emotions. There is a reason why young people are preferred when it comes to warfare. They are easy to manipulate and control and set off.  But I’m telling you all this right now; you’ve got no idea what road you are starting down.  Romance and idealism wears off really fast when you’re laying in a pool of your own blood trying to stuff your intestines back into your torn abdomen.  I’ve been lucky enough to go forty-two years without having to put the skills I learned in the Marines to use.

I continue to train and keep those skills up to date because I see the madness that is happening all across this country.  I don’t train to attack others like you do.  I train to defend others FROM you. I’m not alone either. There are thousands of men and women in this country who have seen war and death and don’t want any more to do with it.  They want to live in peace.  They want to forget the things they’ve had to do in the service of their country.  They want to raise their kids and have family BBQ’s and build tree houses and soap box derby cars and have tea parties.  They don’t want this s**t that you’re selling.  You have the extremist left and the extremist right that are doing their best to get something started.  To force us into a Civil War.

Even in the 1860’s, the violence between the North and South was nowhere near what we see today.  Not even close.  And yet we still had a war of ideology that consumed hundreds of thousands of lives.  All you young and naive kids on both sides of this equation who think that having a Civil War will advance your agenda or restore your vision of what you think is America, just remember this… Those of us older generations aren’t having any of this s**t.  And if you jump off, you better be prepared to deal with US.  We don’t care what color you’re wearing or what sign you’re holding if you come after us, our friends, our family, our co-workers, our neighbors, etc.,  WE WILL KILL YOU.

So remember that when you’re thinking that it’s just Left vs Right, or Liberal vs Conservative, or Commie vs. Fascist.  We are the variable you’re not considering.  That “Silent Majority” that you pretend does not exist is getting really sick and tired of your bulls**t.

POLITICIAN VS BUSINESSMAN?

WE ARE WATCHING THE REBIRTH OF A NATION!

As you will see at the end of this brilliant article I have no idea who wrote this. Having been in the business world with two large Corporations, Lockheed-Martin and Halliburton I have even played one of the roles described in this article many times. Actually I never worked a day for Lockheed-Martin but they bought the company I worked for for 27 years named LTV. I started out with an aerospace related company named Temco when I finished my enlistment in the US Navy. A few years later an arbiter named James Ling, a small electrical contractor, became one of the first Americans to learn how to get control of a much larger company by being smart. Now we had Ling-Temco. A couple of years later Jim Ling gained control of a much larger company, Chance Vought, and we now had LTV or Ling-Temco-Vought. Every time we merged I was part of a team that went in for the “hatchet” work described later.

The first words you will read in this article that describes exactly what is happening in Washington D.C. states that Donald Trump may be the smartest President we ever had. You can go to the bank and be certain that Donald Trump is not only the smartest President we have ever had, he is the smartest businessman we have ever had. He is playing the fiddle while Congress and the dumbest media clowns ever allowed on the airwaves make total fools of themselves.

The winner of this largest conflict of power in my lifetime will be the American people. If the people don’t panic and just sit back and watch him make fools of every politician, news moron and the broken Justice system the people will regain control of the government. Jobs will be plentiful, profits will boom for business and taxes will be less for everyone. He can get term limits for the worst of our government, Congress itself, and that will tear down the barriers to have “Public Servants” rather than a place for Lawyers to live off of the public teat with benefits beyond reason. The career politicians have built the biggest waste of money and crooked ways to bleed the people ever created. The drained swamp will uncover so much greed and illegal activity we will have to build bigger prisons. My thanks to my often guest writer, Ron Jenkins for sharing this with me.

Hold onto your hat as you will soon be treated to read about what is really happening in the White House. The only way this can be stopped is if Trump is assassinated just like several others have been recently. I am convinced they got Justice Scalia and money assured the silence.

C Brewer September 7th 2017

Donald Trump may be the smartest President we have had for quite some time.

Apparently, liberals and never-Trumpers are so isolated in their political circles that they have no concept how things work in the real world of business and corporate America.

For example, they completely fail to grasp the concept of the “hatchet man.

Allow me to explain:

Say you are a business tycoon. You just successfully completed a large-scale acquisition and merger, bringing together multiple smaller companies into one conglomerate.

After the merger, you want to put your own people in charge of everything. However, all those smaller companies had their own executives – and, at least for the short term- you need to keep many of them around to keep things running.

So, you keep many of those executives around, and let them retain their own senior staff.

You even appoint one of them – the head of the largest of the companies you acquired – to be the CEO of the conglomerate, and he pledges to get all the departments working together harmoniously.

After a transition period, some of them are doing fine in the new conglomerate – but others are clearly causing trouble. In fact, the one you appointed CEO is clearly a disaster.

The newly merged departments are working against each other. Furthermore, you have good suspicion he is dealing in insider trading – nothing you can take to a prosecutor, but there is a lot of circumstantial evidence building up.

Worse, he is not only doing his own dirty dealing, but it appears he may even be leaking intellectual property to your competitors, helping them take market share from you.Clearly, he has to go – and go now.  Problem is, many of the senior employees in your conglomerate are loyal to him. If you just fire him and put in your own chosen CEO, you know you could get a lot of backlash from disgruntled employees.

And in your business, there is such a small profit-margin that you really can’t afford anything at all that threatens performance. So what do you do?

In comes the hatchet man.

The hatchet man is someone you bring in for the sole purpose of slashing the problems and shaking things up over a very short period of time – but doing it in a way that deflects any blame or blow back away from you.

As soon as the problems are hacked away, the hatchet man leaves – taking the ire and resentment with him, and leaving you free to bring in your new team for a fresh start.

This happens in the business world all the time. And Donald Trump is a businessman. He knows this. He has lived this. We’ve seen him do it on “The Apprentice.” We’ve read about it in his books.

This is not a surprise to anyone. Except for liberals and never-Trumpers.

Enter Scaramucci.

Liberals and never-Trumpers see the past weeks as proof of a Hitler-clown-circus spectacle, as evidence that Trump is unhinged and our government is in the hands of madmen.  Anyone who understands the business world and Donald Trump fully understands that what we just witnessed was a perfectly executed hatchet man maneuver.

When Trump won the election, he essentially performed the political equivalent of an acquisition and merger.

He brought together different political factions – establishment Republicans, conservatives, tea party, religious right, moderates, independents, cross-overs, into one winning political coup.

For some, it was a hostile takeover – and if they were going to be dragged in against their will, they would sure as hell resist. This is where Reince Priebus came in.

Priebus, as the then-chairman of the Republican National Committee, was hired as White House Chief of Staff to be a sort of post-merger CEO.  It was his job to bring all these political factions together and get them to work harmoniously. But he failed.

Worse, there is ample evidence to suggest he not only failed, but worked against Trump and the Trump agenda. Look at the leaks. Look at all the chaos. Look at all the bureaucracy continuing to work at odds with the president.

Priebus and a number of other people around him – had to go.

Back to Scaramucci.

Donald Trump has known for some time that Priebus was a disaster. He was going to give him his six-month trial period – that’s a fairly common thing in the private sector.  After that, heads were going to roll. But Trump himself doesn’t want to be the hatchet man. He needs to be able to lead after the bloodbath. So what does he do?  He turns to an old friend he has known for many years – someone with nothing to lose, someone who can step in with a hatchet and hack away, someone who can then just walk away from it all and leave the slate clean. He turned to Scaramucci.

So what does Scaramucci do? He comes in swinging. He fires a few people to make a quick example. He tells others they can “resign” right now if they want to – but if not, they will be fired. Others see what is going on and just up and quit of their own accord.

That problem CEO, Priebus? Oh, the new “structure” of the organization puts Scaramucci in direct competition with Priebus and Priebus throws up his hands and says “fine, I’m out of here.”  And Scaramucci does it all in a way that is spectacularly visible to draw all the fire from Trump critics.

So how does it all end? It ends with Trump putting in his new CEO – the one he probably wanted from day one, but held back – and the new CEO says “OK, Scaramucci – you are no longer needed here.”

Gen. Kelly now has a clean slate to start fresh – and Scaramucci takes all the heat.  Where the left and never-Trumpers see a circus freak-show, realists from the business world see a perfectly executed post-merger hatchet-man job.

The political wonks see Kelly taking command as the first sane thing to happen in this administration. They don’t realize they’ve been played, and played perfectly.  And soon we will likely see some other changes that move the Executive Branch further towards what Trump has wanted from day one. And then watch the real swamp-drainer get to work. It sucks to be Hillary Clinton right now..

Oh, and Scaramucci?

He gets a sweet deal out of all this – no doubt, he and his friend Donald Trump talked it all out first.  Scaramucci was already facing a nasty divorce that would result in the liquidation of his business to divide assets.

A little-known law allows people who are legally required to sell a business as a condition of employment in the Executive Branch (to prevent conflicts of interest) to defer the taxes on their profits from the sale.  Scaramucci was going to have to sell his company anyway due to his pending divorce. Now he and his soon-to-be ex-wife just saved $80 million in taxes.

So don’t think for a moment all this was an unplanned mess that went awry. Scaramucci and Trump knew exactly what they were doing.  All of this was planned – and foreseen. Not just by me, but by others as well.

Scott Adams wrote before Trump was inaugurated that, to his critics, the first year of Trump would be a play in three acts:

Act One – Trump is literally Hitler.

Act Two – Trump is not literally Hitler, but Trump is incompetent.

Act Three – Trump is not incompetent, but we don’t like his policies.

We’ve seen this play out. From election night up through the first 100 days, the left was out rioting and acting as though Trump taking office was literally the end of Western Civilization.

But after 100 days, when Trump had failed to do evil-dictator things like round up all the brown people and put the gays into camps and force women to stay home and have babies, it became farcical to continue the “Trump is Hitler” narrative.  And so from that 100 day point up until now, it has been the “Trump is incompetent” game.

Look at all the chaos. Look at all the leaking. Look at all the tweets. Now, we begin Act Three.

With Priebus out and Kelly in, things will settle down. Pretty soon, all the left will have to say is “we just don’t like Trump’s policies.”…

Act Three.

And once that happens, the left is dead. Because, Trump’s policies are policies that most Americans actually agree with.  We should put America first. Build back our economy.

Create jobs.

Strengthen the military.

Protect the border. Outside a few densely-populated liberal strongholds like New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and – of course – Washington, D.C.,

Americans in general agree with all of this. So when all the left has to say is “Trump’s policies are wrong,” the left will literally be telling most of America, “you people are stupid.”

Trump will win 47 states in 2020. The left will be scratching their heads and wondering what the hell happened.

And you’ll be able to look back and say, “hey, some of us told you all this back in 2017”

TIME FOR MORE THAN CHANGES IN TERM LIMITS?

My friend, Ron Jenkins sent me this message that 90% of Americans don’t understand, don’t care and will do nothing. The people have control of Washington by voting. sadly far too many have never voted, never cared and probably never will unless paid by the Demoncrats for their votes. For the umpteenth time Washington is broke and “Term Limits” are the first step in changing the fact that working for the government shiels you from charges when they break the law. Both Clinton’s, Obama, Pelosi, Reed and I could go on all night, have broken laws ans just laugh as they know the Judges owe them too much to allow a jury trial. This following is a perfect example of how the bureaucrats live versus how you and I would be in prison if we cheated the people. I have been paying into social security since I was 8 years old in 1938. My entitlement in 1994 dollars is far less than someone who retired today.
WHO DIED BEFORE THEY COLLECTED SOCIAL SECURITY?
Keep passing this around until everyone has had the opportunity to read it.  This is sure something to think about!!!!
The only thing wrong with the government’s calculation of available social security is they forgot to figure in the people who died before they ever collected a social security check!!!
Where did that money go?  Remember, not only did you and I contribute to social security but your employer did, too.  It totaled 15% of your income before taxes.  If you averaged only $30k over your working life, that’s close to $220,500.
Read that again.  Did you see where the government paid in one single penny?  We are talking about the money you and your employer put in a government bank to insure you and me that we would have a retirement check from the money we put in, not the government.
Now they are calling the money we put in an entitlement when we reach the age to take it back.

If you calculate the future invested value of $4,500 per year (yours & your employer’s contribution) at a simple 5% interest (less than what the government pays on the money that it borrows), after 49 years of working you’d have $892,919.98.

If you took out only 3% per year, you’d receive $26,78760 per year and it would last better than 30 years (until you’re 95 if you retire at age 65) and that’s with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit!
If you bought an annuity and it paid 4% per year, you’d have a lifetime income of $2,976.40 per month.
The folks in Washington have pulled off a bigger Ponzi  scheme than Bernie Madoff ever did  Entitlement my foot; I paid cash for my social security insurance!  Just because they borrowed the money for other government spending, doesn’t make my benefits some kind of charity or handout!!  Remember the benefits for members of congress?
+          free health care,
+          outrageous retirement packages,
+          67 paid holidays,
+          three weeks paid vacation,
+          unlimited paid sick days.
Now that’s welfare, and they have the nerve to call my Social Security retirement payments entitlements?  They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives, and now, when it’s time for us to collect, the government is running out of money.  Why did the government borrow from it in the first place?  It was supposed to be in a locked box, not part of the general fund.
Sad isn’t it?  99% of people won’t read this. ANON
I’m in the 1% – I just did!

Climate Change VS Man-Made Global Warming. Another view!

My great friend and often guest writer on my blog has compiled some factual information related to the Global Warming fiasco here in the United States. Why this issue has so many people stirred up is beyond me. I doubt that one in ten thousand of the demonstrators I watched on the news today, May Day, have any idea of why they make fools of themselves in the senseless displays of ignorance. I believe that we have created a class of people who learned nothing in their education cycle but how to protest from the lunatic professors we have allowed to run wild in a race to Socialize America. Our government should stop grants, senseless projects and giving one dime to these socialized institutions until they replace these misguided loons who have tenure to spread their nonsense. No one should have tenure including Federal Judges as after they are protected from dismissal they go stark raving mad. Thanks Ron for sharing your work with my readers. C Brewer

Confusion reigns between the hot-button issues of World-Wide Climate Change VS Man-Made Global Warming; despite their being separate and distinctly different issues.  Very few scientists or informed citizens would dispute the existence of cyclical changes in the earth’s climate; which are naturally occurring phenomena with multiple causes. Understandable confusion begins when activists and journalists, conflate the term “man-made global warming” and make no distinction between it and climate changes that have not been impacted by human activity.

Generally accepted scientific data strongly suggests that the world is in a slow warming trend, which by definition is a change in the earth’s climate.  An observable consequence, pointed to by proponents of the adverse influence of humans on the global climate, are the melting of snow and ice concentrations around the world, and, the subsequent rise in the levels of seas and oceans. Those same proponents attribute the cause of that rise, to the impact of mankind on the earth’s environment, while others demand that a myriad of natural causes, receive equal or greater blame, such as the impact of the earth’s position in the solar system, relative to the sun. The impact of worldwide volcanic activity, both undersea and surface eruptions, cannot be ignored.  Nor can the contribution from millions of tonnes of animal excretions, to mention just a few additional causes for our current warming trend.

To be clear, the earth’s climate is on a cyclical upswing. These historical trends have alternated for thousands of years and will continue, irrespective of any human intervention. Any attempt to attribute man’s influence to the exclusion of any others is both manic and myopic. It has to be included, but must not be given all the blame. Unfortunately, the motives for the emphasis on mankind’s culpability may be a desire, on the part of numerous researchers, to preserve the allocation of funds from a variety of governmental agencies.

The proponents of Man-Made Climate change also believe that a collective effort is needed to control and reduce a myriad of human activities that have had a cumulative, negative influence on the earth’s environment. And, that those changes would be instrumental in slowing or reversing Global Climate changes. Unfortunately, the United States is virtually alone, in terms of enacting national policies and restrictions, on activities affecting all manner of environmental pollution.  Part of our governmental action should be increased efforts to influence those other big polluters, like Russia’s former Soviet Union partners and China. They are gaining a competitive advantage in the pricing of goods and services by not enacting anti-pollution regulations. The US should not be expected to bear this burden alone.

The bottom line is that the earth has been in a continual, cyclic trend, alternating between warming and cooling for thousands of years. Therefore, it is difficult to attribute the relatively recent presence of mankind as the principal cause of Global Warming. Just because human activity may not be the biggest cause, we should not cease our anti-pollution activities. The world is currently warming and human-kind is a contributor but not the sole and possibly not even the greatest cause.

TRUMP, IMMIGRATION, FEDERAL COURTS!

Three individuals, Baxter Henderson from Melbourne Australia, Ron Jenkins who lives in San Antonio TX and myself have been friends for over 20 years. I met Baxter in Australia in 1995. Ron and Baxter were friends when Ron was General Manager for the Lottery Commission. Ron is a retired Air Force Officer. Baxter was a Manager for GTech, the company who managed the lottery and one of my consulting and training customers for many years. I established this explanation so you can understand and hopefully appreciate the following exchange between Ron and Baxter that might help you understand what is happening on several issues we are watching with a new face in the White House. I try to learn something every day. Ron’s responses provided me with new knowledge today. I hope you enjoy the exchange.  C Brewer

Baxter, I have many questions for you; first:

1. How is a court in Washington State able to stop a national order and not just within its state?

Ron:  It is a Federal, District Court. The rulings apply in all US federal government jurisdictions. FYI, The US judiciary is divided into 12 regional circuits and further into 94 Federal Districts, which are subordinate to the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS).  The next court down the chain is the 9th Federal Court of Appeals and includes federal courts in the nine western US States, plus Hawaii, Alaska, Guam and the Mariana Islands. The Federal Court that the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) was issued from was a Federal District Court (Judge Robard presiding). The US Justice Department, at the behest of President Trump, had to appeal judge Robard’s ruling to the 9th Federal Court of Appeals. BTW, ruling’s by the 9th are the most overturned court decisions in the country      because it is packed with Liberal Judge Appointees who believe the US Constitution is out dated and should be more active in interpreting the law in this era.

2..(Baxter) They (the plaintiffs) are from Washington and Minnesota) said it was a civil rights issue.

(Ron):  Not exactly.  The TRO was issued by Judge Robard’s based upon his interpretation of the US Constitution, specifically the “establishment Clause” and the right of “due process”.  The issue of “legal standing” was glossed over in his ruling.

(Baxter) How does an order which is only effective outside the USA become a civil rights issue within the USA?

(Ron):  This court was chosen by the plaintiff’s because the judge is a Left leaning Liberal, activist, judge.  He was sympathetic to the argument that Non-citizen’s (i.e., Green Card holder’s and Visitor’s Visa holder’s) are included in the protections and constitutional rights afforded to legal US citizens. I don’t believe that is true and will be the reason why SCOTUS will take up the case.  (only about 2 % of the eight thousand plus cases annually heard by the Federal Appeals Court are accepted for hearing by SCOTUS.)

3.(Baxter) I would have thought that USA courts could only deal with issues that would affect people within the USA.

(Ron).  That issue will probably be the reason that this case will be elevated to the SCOTUS ASAP.  We Conservative’s believe a refugee from Syria or immigrant from Somalia, does not have the same legal rights, under the US Constitution, as a legal US citizen; the Left believes otherwise.

4.(Baxter) If this is allowed to stand is this the end of U.S. democracy?

(Ron). NO. Our three branches of government (Executive, Judicial and Legislative) are independent and have certain powers that provide the “checks and balances” that are designed to keep the country on the right path, according to the will of our Representative Republic’s electorate.

5. (Baxter) From now on what will stop any court in any State (or District), from doing what Washington has done?

(Ron). Nothing.

6.(Baxter) Then every one of Trump’s executive orders will be denied until it goes to the Supreme Court.

(Ron). The worst case scenario would be a legal challenge to any and all Executive Orders. While that is possible, at some point, the courts will refuse to hear every case or the electorate will rebel against the “not so loyal opposition” and vote their members out of office and out of power, ala the TEA Party’s rise during the 2007 campaign.

7.(Baxter) The office of President will be effectively dead.

(Ron).  Again, I hope that won’t happen, although, in recent years the President has, in some eyes, usurped more power than some believe is within his authority, based upon the limitations of his position, based upon the Constitution and it’s system of checks and balances.

8.(Baxter) All of the talking heads are only spending time on this immigration issue.

(Ron) Yep, that is their role. To me it goes much further. Regardless of the merits of the case, the Democrats could just get one of the District courts to declare an order to be illegal and the whole country will come to a stop.

(Baxter) I don’t hear any of them talking about that.

(Ron) So far, I am totally un-effected; the trains are still running, the economy is humming along and the prep school antics of the Democrat’s will ultimately fail.  The current case has many options from cancelling the contentious E/O and issuing a revised version that is narrower and Specifically exempts the issue of the religion of Islam from any new Executive Order (E.O).

(Baxter) I am afraid for your country Ron.

(Ron). Things have been much worse in past eras. The Civil Rights and Viet Nam eras were more contentious, more violent and had more civil unrest.  We survived and some vital lessons were learned. To wit, never compromise on your core beliefs and or give in to threats. That being said, we have numerous international as well as domestic challenges facing this Administration. Thank goodness, we have a strong and resolute leader and he has or soon will have, a senior staff of highly experienced men and women to advise and guide him down a treacherous road, despite       the sniping from opponents in his party and by Democrats.

The print and all other forms of media will continue to lean Left because that is their background and training. The only exception is FOX News.  Every other Television Network and News outlet is overwhelmingly Liberal and their bias is palpable in every report, every story concerning Trump or any Conservative idea.  FOX News is emphasizing the decision by the three judge appellate court didn’t even comment on the statutory authority, in the US Code, that the President cited as his authority to issue the E/O in question.   His two major choices are to rescind and re-issue a new E/O that is crafted in better legalese or merely let it go to the SCOTUS, after his nominee (Neil Gorsuch) is confirmed and balances out the court to a 4-1-4 position.   Ron

“THE TRANSFORMATION IS UNDERWAY.”

WATCH THE PROGRESSIVES SQUIRM!

My friend and often guest writer, Ron Jenkins, sent me a copy of this message to a member of his family. There is so much wisdom, facts, and sincerity expressed I hope you find this has a message you would share with your family like I will and I hope you do.

Unfortunately I have at least one daughter, two granddaughters and eventually some great grands that will have to painfully discover common sense someday on their own. They choose not to listen to me and would at this point, deny they are even related to me. I have enough family that does understand that what the Liberal-Demoncratic-Progressives have brainwashed these destructive paid and unpaid demonstrators with is nothing more than Government Imposed Socialism.

I hope these hate-filled people watch the sometimes crude like surgical transformation of a disunited America back into the “United States of America I so dearly love. God has Saved America if these animals can’t find another Judas and kill Donald Trump. C Brewer

I guess most social issues have relevance to those who keep them close to their hearts.

Recent elections have surely brought to the surface the widespread, & differing opinions held by people from coast to coast and border to border. The Civil War ended over 150 years ago, yet tensions and volatility still exist between North and South; between East and West; between cultures and religions. Vestiges of prejudice and involuntary servitude are not very far from the surface; violence envy & animosity are evident in the daily news cycle.  We are not as mature and civilized a society as we could be or should be.  We have a long way to go; however, I think that some American’s forget how lucky we are to live in this country, rather than Asia, Africa, Middle East or elsewhere; that do not have our freedoms and the opportunities for advancement that we have. You’ve lived O/S, as I have, and have seen it first-hand.

We, as a nation, should do some comparisons with those other parts of the world and recognize that generational change does not occur overnight.  Nor does it come fast enough for the last few X, Y or Z, generations of……impatient, “I WANT it now” citizen’s. Those people who have little understanding of our early history, the heritage of the founders, many of whom came to North American to escape religious persecution and royal tyranny, and to seek the freedom to do it the way they wanted, with as little governmental interference as a Representative Republic could offer.

The keynote these days seems to be “equality”, and to use the phrase I criticized earlier in the week, that could be a “code” word for the concept behind Communism or Liberal Progressive ism.

What many in this country fail to comprehend is that Capitalism built this country and made it rich. And, under Capitalism, not all of us are equal in ability or drive or dedication to a goal. However, I believe many, if not most of the well-off US taxpayers, are willing and able to provide help and support to those able bodied citizens who are less well off, but willing to get trained and skilled, rather than always and indefinitely, relying on gov’t assistance. The three levels of gov’t should do as much as possible to curb welfare fraud and the illegitimate payments to the millions that were added to the welfare rolls, during the last eight years and beyond. Those illegal payments that go to illegal aliens, to people with fake ID’s & driver’s licenses, those who can work but choose not to.

The poor can’t afford and therefore, don’t get the same quality of health care, as does a person who has the means to pay for better health insurance coverage, medical specialist care, private hospitalization or even a funeral.  Apparently, some protesters, think they should.  A private hospital room versus an eight patient ward.  A private school versus a free Community College. Benefits that are 100% Tax free, etc., etc. That isn’t the real world, but it is the Utopian promise of the Socialist and Liberal Progressive in every country that has tried it and failed, in the past millennia.

American’s must and will hopefully continue to evolve into a people with less prejudice towards anyone who is different, in any way, from the way they view themselves. The watch word I am continually espousing is tolerance.  Again, IMHO, to be willing and able to accept others who are different, is the standard I judge myself by. I frequently find myself falling short of my goal, when I react emotionally or viscerally to people or groups who purport to condemn all those who disagree with their pet philosophies & beliefs and who do so without an educational or historical background or the mental equipment to carry forth a sound and rational argument with an opponent.   Ron

THOMAS JEFFERSON – A FORGOTTEN FOUNDING FATHER!

My great friend on Jenkins sent this and I think I published it in the past. Apparently, if I did it was by a different title. This is so very important as we enter a new era with Donald Trump I will post it again. Our schools ,especially under Demoncratic leadership, have been systematically eliminating basic education to hide the brilliance of our founding fathers.

The latest dumbass deletion from our education systems is cursive writing. I suppose we need to assign another number for every new born American like the Social Security Number so they can sign their name. I suggest that they start with “X”-1 and proceed to “X”-300,000,000 so no one would have the same signature

Ron added, It is too bad the schools aren’t teaching the way our country was started. This is very thought provoking if you really read it and then think about it. We are becoming just what our forefathers left England to get away from.

NOW LEARN SOMETHING TODAY.

Jefferson’s Portrait is on the Two Dollar Bill. How many Americans knew this?

Thomas Jefferson was a very remarkable man who started learning very early in life and never stopped.

At 5, began studying under his cousin’s tutor.

At 9, studied Latin, Greek and French.

At 14, studied classical literature and additional languages.

At 16, entered the College of William and Mary. He also could write in Greek with one hand while writing the same in Latin with the other.

At 19, studied Law for 5 years starting under George Wythe.

At 23, started his own law practice.

At 25, was elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses.

At 31, wrote the widely circulated “Summary View of the Rights of British America” And retired from his law practice.

At 32, was a delegate to the Second Continental Congress.

At 33, wrote the Declaration of Independence.

At 33, took three years to revise Virginia’s legal code and wrote a Public Education bill and a statute for Religious Freedom.

At 36, was elected the second Governor of Virginia succeeding Patrick Henry.

At 40, served in Congress for two years.

At 41, was the American minister to France and negotiated commercial treaties with European nations along with Ben Franklin and John Adams.

At 44, collaborated in writing the proposed Constitution of the United States, which was ratified two years later, in 1789.

At 46, served as the first Secretary of State under George Washington.

At 53, served as Vice President and was elected president of the American Philosophical Society.

At 55, drafted the Kentucky Resolutions and became the active head of Democratic-Republican Party (which opposed the Federalist Party).

At 57, was elected the third president of the United States, serving two terms (from 1800 to 1808).

At 60, obtained the Louisiana Purchase doubling the nation’s size.

At 61, was elected to a second term as President.

At 65, retired to Monticello.

At 80, helped President Monroe shape the Monroe Doctrine.

At 81, almost single-handedly created the University of Virginia and served as its first president.

At 83, died on July 4th,1826, the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence along with John Adams.

Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the previous failed attempts at government. He understood actual history, the nature of God, His laws and the nature of man. That happens to be way more than what most understand today. I doubt any President in my life time knew all of this so far. For sure “Obummer” and Hillary the Witch would have failed.

John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the White House for a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: “This is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.”

“When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe.” Thomas Jefferson

“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.” Thomas Jefferson

“It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.” Thomas Jefferson

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” Thomas Jefferson

“My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.” Thomas Jefferson

“No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.” Thomas Jefferson

“The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.”  Thomas Jefferson

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” Thomas Jefferson

“To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.” Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson said in 1802: “I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property – until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.” I wish someone had listened. Can you help Ron and I get this out to every American!

Election 2016 – Watch the Donkeys Run!

My great friend, Ron Jenkins shared the following scenario which I found interesting and hope you do also. It will be a blast watching a new political neophyte make a bunch of political hacks jump through hoops and run like rabbits. Listening to the new Senate minority leader, Chuckie Schumer, brag how tough the Demoncrats will be will be easy for the Donald. He has the ability and the surgical tools to make these “mossbacks” look like fools. C Brewer

Absorb Ron’s Story

On Nov. 8 at around 1700 hours, Hillary and 400+ Hillary Clinton loyalists gathered with 100+ cases of champagne, a Two-Million-Dollar massive fireworks display in downtown New York. They had a custom-built dome symbolizing the mythical “glass ceiling” and HRC, (or, as her Secret Service call sign reflects, “Broomstick One”) readied to celebrate her victory over Trump.

Celebrating the first female President of the United States had the inner-city welfare army dancing in the streets. They were now certain their welfare checks were going to continue to increase.

Mexico was happy as they could continue to look the other way as gang members and ex-cons illegally entered America.

Isis was happy as they could continue to infiltrate America with innocent Muslim’s and radicalize them in Mosque’s, protected by US law.

Newsweek had already published and shipped the next issue with the cover “Madam President” and a detailed analysis of precisely how the Clinton political machine had captured the Electoral College with a whopping 324 votes. They had her acceptance speech in an article gracefully calling for all Americans to join with her and move forward in Utopian, Progressive Socialism.

Among the 400+ giddy followers were those who had already received confirmation of their future assignments & high paid government jobs in the White House, FBI, Department of Labor, and the list goes on.

Everyone as assured of at least four (4) and probably eight (8) years of lucrative jobs that they had dedicated over 3 years of their lives to achieve. They had all rented or bought housing in D.C. or nearby in Georgetown. Reservations had been made at the Hilton and other five star hotels in New York City for the PARTY.

They knew the fix was in: every poll and every media outlet except Fox News, (Eric Bolling specifically) and Drudge was in the tank for Hillary and against Trump. At a rate of 45 to 1 Department of Justice  employees had contributed to the campaign over Trump.  CNN, NBC, CBS had all supplied Hillary with the debate questions, well in advance.  The fix was in over all the scandals and the Wiki Leaks was all the fault of the Russians, who had even changed the language in the emails. The Department of Justice and FBI had cleared Hillary of any criminal conduct.

Almost every media pundit and all of the polls except the LA Times and one other had Hillary with a 1 to 8 point lead. The odds in Las Vegas were 200 to 1 and by election time were still 5 to 1.

The early exit polls were 100% in the Democrat’s favor and the path to victory was clear.

Then, within 5 short hours, it all came crashing down.

Hillary went ballistic; cursing and wailing like a banshee.  They were all stunned; told to go home and go home they did, so they could organize riots and proclaim to the world that Trump was not their President.

Imagine the abject depression as the shock that set in. One more political dynasty bites the dust.

“Congrats to All Patriotic Americans that love their Republic, great job!”

One more thing, if California wants to secede, we should let them and let them take their 5+ million Democrat votes with them. That alone would mean a Conservative, Republican, federal government for the next few decades.

Now will come the divisiveness of the Democrat minority, in the Senate, where they will try to derail Mr. Trump’s nominees for his Cabinet and any and all political appointments within his control.  Let’s just see how cohesive the Democrats can be over the next 60 days and four years.

Let’s see how they try to block Mr. Trump’s nominee for the current Supreme Court vacancy and the replacements for Ginsberg and Breyer, when they announce their retirements, sometime in the next 4 to 8 years. The court is now four to three, Liberal vs Conservative, with Justice Kennedy usually siding with the Liberal women. The replacement for Conservative Justice Scalia will bring it back to where it was, at 4 to 4, with Kennedy as the tie breaker.

When Ginsberg retires as she said she would and Trump appoints a Conservative, the balance will shift once again and it could stay that way for quite a while.

 Ron Jenkins

I hope he appoints Ted Cruz to take Ginsberg’s place and let us enjoy watching a real “Donkey BBQ.
