SENIOR CITIZENS BEWARE – PART TWO

Well it took me nearly four years and over 800 articles to successfully stir up a hornets nest. The “Senior Citizens Beware” article I posted recently, sharing the actual experience of a man in Arizona, finally stirred up some Liberals. The recap of his encounter with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), or as it is better known, “Obamacare” flushed out some rather radical feedback. Next let me thank everyone that took the time to at least comment, both pro and con as feedback is always a sign that someone at least read your work. I have recapped some of the negative comments I received;

  1. Blatant Liar
  2. George Bush created the problem with “Medical Observations” not Obamacare.
  3. The problem with non-payment for “Medical Observations” has nothing to do with the ACA.
  4. My article is “Completely Inaccurate”
  5. I am a “hypocrite”.

You are free to read every word except #5 if you go to the published article on WordPress. I always approve every comment I receive if the language is civil, even the ones questioning my creditability and/or my sanity. The “hypocrite” accusation came by E mail from one of my golfing friends who said Lyndon Johnson was the creator of Medicare and my being on Medicare and criticizing it was dishonest.

This week I listened to President Obama stand with a straight face on TV and make the following statements;

  1. Our economy is the best shape it has ever been.
  2. Unemployment is not a problem anymore.
  3. I have elevated the respect for America worldwide as when I was elected it lower than China or Russia.

I feel sure my Progressive-Liberal critics and the entire national media would argue and complain about my wording. As usual they will all ignore Obama’s “blatant lies”. If the word “liar” had a picture beside it in a dictionary to describe what a liar looks like it would be President Obama. History will record that Obama was the most successful “Con Man” that ever lived on Earth. No one ever has or ever will be able to divide free people and destroy a nation faster than he has. He has surpassed Hitler in the speed of destroying a nation.

Let me share some facts for anyone who reads my articles, especially the ones who do not know me or my creditability. I volunteered to serve in the US Navy at 17. I spent 32 years in senior management positions for two fortune 500 companies. I started nine different businesses in three countries. I passed the Mensa Exam at the 99th percentile and was honored to be a member of Mensa and Intertel. I worked or visited in 32 countries and 49 states. I wrote a “Standard” for the American Petroleum Institute as an individual instead of by committee. I trained over 30,000 individuals in nine different countries in multiple subjects. I passed the Professional Engineering exam without a technical Degree. I received a Master’s Degree in Management with a GPA of 3.92 without an undergraduate degree. I chaired a National ASME Committee on Offshore oil and Gas Safety Valves for several years. I designed a Quality Management Systems for over 200 companies worldwide. I doubt that some of my own family know all of this.

My parents and God gave me a mind and I choose to fill and use it. I am one of very few people who actually achieved the self-satisfaction of meeting or exceeding every goal I ever set for myself. I am married to my second wife for over 54 years. I currently have 43 kids, grandkids and great grandkids, including spouses. Five are doctors, three are lawyers, several hold technical degrees or serve in management positions or business owners, one is a CPA and four are teachers or education specialists. One is also a member of Mensa and Intertel and passed the exam at 14. They range in age from one to sixty-six and I love them all.

I am fortunate to have many close friends who share their knowledge and correspondence with me that I selectively publish to share knowledge or create articles that are obviously ultraconservative as advertised by the title of my WordPress Blog. I usually try to identify my sources and I don’t or ever will question their honesty or ethics. If you disagree with my articles I always encourage and approve all comments.

Let me summarize the reason I published this article. If my writing annoys, upsets, causes you to suffer in any way, I did not make you read it. Maybe you should “STOP READING MY WORK!”

Until Obama, Hillary or other Progressive-Liberal nut cases get the first Amendment to the Constitution repealed I will write whatever I choose, whenever I choose as long as my two fingers can type. Learning requires full knowledge of a subject and I read more Liberal drivel than you would ever believe. I write to keep my old mind active and there are no charges to read my work. Like subsistence Obama provides for over 40 million lazy Americans it is free. If my writing makes you mad like it does to one of my daughters and two granddaughters, so be it.

For anyone who takes the time to read this and is older than 85, I honor you with my respect. For those younger my first wish is for you to be fortunate enough to live this long. My second wish is that you will share your knowledge and experiences with others.

Writing this article made me feel real good about the life I have lived and I hope it makes at least one other freedom loving American smile. Smiling is a way to make others smile, try it yourself.

DEMOCRATS CAN’T BE HONEST!

READ THIS AND SEE ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF LEGAL GOVERNMENT FRAUD

My good friend Allan Moore shared this with me and if you believe that our government is honest and ethical you are a raving idiot. This has never happened before Obama who is evil, dishonest and a disgrace. If you vote for any democrat that supports his policy you are equally as bad. The worst part is that the media, including Fox and Congresspersons running for re-election hide it from the people, senior citizens, who live on fixed incomes. C Brewer

Did you receive your Medicare Handbook for 2015 yesterday? If you have already received yours in the mail please turn to page 12 and go down to the bottom of the page and read “Find out what you pay for Medicare (Part A and Part B). It states that the premium and deductible amounts were not available at the time of printing. It further states you may call 1-800-633-4227 to get the most up-to-date info.

I did just that and talked with a Medicare representative. She told me that they probably would not have those figures in until the end of the first week or possibly the second week of November. Now, let that sink in …

As soon as she stated that to me I replied, “My, isn’t that convenient for the Obama Administration to actually hold off on those figures until after the 2014 election results.” There was dead silence on the other end of the line. I told her thank you and I would call back.

I may be wrong, but as I see it, I really think I am right!

You see on our Social Security increase for next year we are only receiving an increase of around 1%-1.7%. Even the military are getting just over 1%-1.7%. You can bet after the November 4th election the increases for Medicare A & B will be greater than any 1%-1.7%. That is why they are delaying what the increases will be. Because if they had put it in that handbook, any elderly would be voting against the Democrats.

So anyone voting for the Democrats in the forthcoming elections deserves to get the increases that are coming after November 4th.

Thanks Allan, I hope the internet can make this available before the election. Rumor is that the premiums and the deductible will be increased 100% in 2015. That will costs each average senior nearly $2,000.00 more next year. That is going to hurt millions of Americans who barely get by today. The government tells seniors the increase next year in Social Security will average about $20 a month or $240 a year. Senior citizens have no place in Obama and the Democrats new society, just die and go away. CB

SENIORS – AN INTERESTING PROFILE!

A typical U.S. household is headed by a person age 65 or older with a net worth 47 times greater than a household headed by someone under 35, according to a recent analysis of census data.

We are referred to as senior citizens, old fogies, geezers, and in some cases dinosaurs. Some of you are “Baby Boomers” getting ready to retire. Others, like me have been retired for some time. We walk a little slower these days and our eyes and hearing are not what they once were. We have worked hard, raised our children, worshiped our God and grown old together. We are the ones some refer to as being over the hill and that is probably true. But before writing us off completely, there are a few things that need to be considered.

In school we studied English, history, math, and science which enabled us to lead America into the technological age. Most of us remember what outhouses were, myself and many more of us with firsthand experience. We remember the days of crank telephones, party-lines, 18 cent gasoline, and milk and ice being delivered to our homes. For those of you who don’t know what an icebox is, today they are electric and referred to as refrigerators. A few might even recall when cars were started with a crank, I do. Yes, we lived those days

We are now considered old fashioned and outdated by most, including my family. But there are a few things you need to remember before completely writing us off. We won World War II, fought in Korea and Viet Nam. We can quote The Pledge of Allegiance and know where to place our hand while doing so.

We wore the uniform of our country with pride and lost family and friends on the battlefield. We didn’t fight for the Socialist States of America; we fought for the “Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.” We wore different uniforms but carried the same flag. We know the words to the Star Spangled Banner, America, and America the Beautiful by heart and you may even see some tears running down our cheeks as we sing. We have lived what many of you have only read in history books and we feel no obligation to apologize to anyone for America.

Yes, we are old and slow these days but rest assured, we have at least one good fight left in us. We have loved this country, fought for it, and far too many died for it, and now we are going to hopefully save it. It is our country and nobody is going to take it away from us. We took oaths to defend America against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and that is an oath we plan to keep. There are those who want to destroy this land we love but, like our founders, there is no way we are going to remain silent.

It was mostly the young people of this nation who elected Obama and the Democratic Congress. You fell for the “Hope and Change” which in reality was nothing but “Hype and Lies.”

Some of you youngsters have now tasted socialism and seen evil face to face and hopefully have found you don’t like it after all. You make a lot of noise, but most are all too interested in their careers or “Climbing the Social Ladder” to be involved in such mundane things as patriotism and voting. Many of those who fell for the “Great Lie” in 2008 are now having buyer’s remorse. With all the education we gave you, you didn’t have sense enough to see through the lies and instead drank the ‘Kool-Aid.’ Now you’re paying the price and complaining about it. No jobs, lost mortgages, higher taxes and less freedom.

This is what you voted for and this is what you got. We entrusted you with the Torch of Liberty and you traded it for a paycheck and a fancy house.

Well, don’t worry youngsters, the Grey-Haired Brigade is here and in 2014 we are going to take back our nation. We may drive a little slower than you would like but we get where we’re going and in 2014 we’re going to the polls by the millions.

This land does not belong to the man in the White House or to the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. It belongs to “We the People” and “We the People” plan to reclaim our land and our freedom. We hope this time you will do a better job of preserving it and passing it along to our grandchildren. So the next time you have the chance to say the Pledge of Allegiance, Stand up, put your hand over your heart, honor our country and thank God for the old geezers of the “Grey-Haired Brigade.”

Footnote: This is spot on. I am a Gray-Haired Geezer signing on. I have circulated this to other Gray-Haired Geezers and all Americans that I know over this once great county. Can you feel the ground shaking?   It’s not an earthquake, it is a STAMPEDE. In the event you’re not a Gray-Haired Old Geezer, you still are eligible, and encouraged, to sign on.

I want to thank my friend Nevon, who shared the basic outline that I have paraphrased with some significant changes and to include some personal feelings. I don’t know the Grey Haired Old Geezer who started this but I applaud his message and hopefully help wake up enough voters to stop wrecking America. C Brewer

SENIOR CITIZENS

DON’T BLAME US

Senior citizens are constantly being criticized for every conceivable deficiency of the modern world, real or imaginary. We take full responsibility for all we have done and we never try to blame others.

However, upon reflection, we would like to point out that it was not senior citizens who took:

The “melody” out of music,

The “pride” out of appearance,

The “courtesy” out of driving,

The “romance” out of love,

The “commitment” out of marriage,

The “responsibility” out of parenthood,

The “togetherness” out of the family,

The “learning” out of education

The “service” out of patriotism,

The “Golden Rule” from rulers,

The “nativity scene” out of cities,

The “civility” out of behavior,

The “refinement” out of language,

The “dedication” out of employment,

The “prudence” out of spending,

The “ambition” out of achievement or God out of government and school.

We certainly are not the ones who eliminated “patience” and “tolerance” from personal relationships and interactions with others!

And, we do understand the meaning of patriotism, and remember those who have fought and died for our country.

Just look at the “Senior’s” with tears in their eyes and pride in their hearts, as they stand at attention with their hand over their hearts, as the American Flag passes by in a parade!

YES, I’M A SENIOR CITIZEN!

I’m the life of the party…..Even if it lasts until 8 p.m.

I’m very good at opening childproof caps…..With a hammer.

I’m awake many hours before my body allows me to get up.

I’m smiling all the time, because I can’t hear a thing you’re saying.

I’m sure everything I can’t find is in a safe secure place, somewhere.

I’m wrinkled, saggy, lumpy, and that’s just my left leg.

I’m beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.

Yes, I’m a SENIOR CITIZEN and I think I am having the time of my life!

“Spread the laughter

Share the cheer

Let’s be happy

While we’re here.”

MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA AND MAY AMERICA CONTINUE TO THANK GOD!!

SENIOR CITIZENS – NEVER UNDER ESTIMATE WISDOM!

HOW TO CALL THE POLICE WHEN YOU’RE OLD, AND DON’T MOVE FAST ANYMORE.

George Phillips, an elderly man, from Meridian, Mississippi, was going up to bed, when his wife told him that he’d left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. George opened the back door to go turn off the light, but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, who asked “Is someone in your house?”

He said “No,” but some people are breaking into my garden shed and stealing from me.

Then the police dispatcher said “All patrols are busy. You should lock your doors and an officer will be along when one is available.”

George said, “Okay.”

He hung up the phone and counted to 30. Then he phoned the police again.

“Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed. Well, you don’t have to worry about them now because I just shot and killed them both, the dogs are eating them right now.” and he hung up.

Within five minutes, six Police Cars, a SWAT Team, a Helicopter, two Fire Trucks, a Paramedic, and an Ambulance showed up at the Phillips’ residence, and caught the burglars red-handed.

One of the Policemen said to George, “I thought you said that you’d shot them!”

George said, “I thought you said there was nobody available!”

(True Story) I LOVE IT! Don’t mess with old people.

Thanks Shoe, I hope everyone enjoys this as much as this old man did?  C Brewer

SENIORS – Now this is SCARY!

I am not sure the following was an actual happening and I really don’t care. From all that I have read this will be the law of the land if Obamacare is not cancelled by the Surpreme Court this month. Obviously at nearly 82, in good health and blessed with the mind that God provided, I enjoy writing this blog. This keeps my mind active and golf keeps my aging body from falling apart. I am blessed and honored to be able to share my experiences and knowledge with anyone willing to read. For those of you that have not reached 75, you are likely to get there some day God willing. For the first time in my life our government has gone totally mad. I have experienced many times when it tried but sane people stopped it fast. Four more years of our current mindless President and Congress will insure destruction of our Republic form of government. Those who vote to re-elect these care-less people deserve their fate. They will for sure never reach my age. Thanks Vickey for sharing these stories.  C Brewer

GOD SAVE AMERICA

Forget about getting to age 75, this exact thing happened to me this morning at Danbury hospital here in Ct. I was scheduled for a cardio-lite stress test. This is a tread mill stress test where during the process they inject nuclear dye into your blood stream and then put you in a CAT scan or something similar and take a picture of your heart.

If all is good the heart shows up red, if there are blocked arteries anywhere that portion of the heart shows up pink. I have had three of these tests in the past twelve years due to blocked arteries discovered in 2000. They use the test to determine if I need a roto router or a bypass operation.

So I arrive at the hospital at 8am this morning and I am in the process of checking in at Cardiology and the lady says that my appointment has been cancelled. She makes a call and speaks with someone and hands me the phone. It is a nurse in cardiology who says that my medical coverage denied the procedure.

I said it was routine, part of my heart maintenance process and ordered by my PCP and with approval from my Cardiologist who is the head of Danbury Cardiology which is right where I was standing.

She goes, “yes but we were denied our request”. So I say, I have Medicare so what is my backup insurance doing denying anything.

Then the bombshell, she says it was the Medicare board that denied the procedure.

At that point, I turn to everyone behind me, and it was a long line, and I say to them “well you won’t have to wait too long today because my stress test procedure was just cancelled by a Medicare Death Panel.

I am only 67 so can you imagine what is going to happen when we really get old”. The entire waiting room and everyone there from patients to staff just went dead silent.

So I turn to the front desk and tell them, ” I guess I will have to write a letter to the editor of the Danbury News Times and call my Senators and Congressman and let them know the Death Panels have already convened”.

Then I walked out. By the time I got home the message machine was blinking. My PCP had already called and so did the hospital and guess what, Medicare decided to approve my stress test procedure and if I could get back down to the hospital they would fit me in right now for this 3 hour procedure.

I told them I couldn’t make it, that I was going fishing because I didn’t know how many more fishing trips I could get in before I went into cardiac arrest but not to worry about me costing the government any money because I am a 30% disabled Army veteran, due to Agent Orange poisoning which is what caused this heart problem to begin with, and I qualify to be buried for free in a plain pine wrapper in the cheap graves section at any National cemetary.

I certainly don’t want to cost our government any money so maybe we just won’t do this procedure anymore and we can use the money to redistribute it to all of the illegals to keep them alive so they can mow the lawns at the National Cemetary.

So this Death Panel crap has started. If we don’t vote this guy and his criminal cronies out of office this November then we will all die younger than we should as broke paupers as the country goes bankrupt.

Feel free to distribute my note to anyone and make it a mission to not only make your vote count but on behalf of all of us please make an effort to change the thinking of anyone remotely willingly to get intellectually engaged in this critical time in our country’s history.

WELL ISN’T THIS SOME SPECIAL NEWS GRANDMA AND PAPA!!!

I had one of the most troubling, most disturbing conversations ever with Dr. Suzanne Allen, head of emergency services at the Johnson City Medical Center in Tennessee. We were discussing the “future” and I asked her had she seen any affects of Obama Care in her work?

“Oh, yes. We are seeing cutbacks throughout the services we provide. For example, we are now having to deal with patients who would normally receive dialysis can no longer be accepted.

In the past, there was always automatic approval under Medicare for anyone who needed dialysis — not anymore.”

So, what will be their outcome? “They will die soon without dialysis,” she stated.

What about other services? She indicated as of 2013 (after the election), no one over 75 will be given major medical procedures unless approved by locally administered Ethics Panels. These Panels will determine whether a patient receives medical treatment or not.

While details on specific operating procedures and schedules, Dr. Allen points out that most life-threatening emergencies do not occur during normal hospital business hours, and if there are emergencies that depend to be resolve within minutes or just few hours, the likely hood of getting these Panels approval in time to save a life are going to be very challenging and difficult, if not impossible she said.

This applies to major operations such as receiving stents, bypass surgery, kidney operations, or treating for an aneurysm that would be normally covered under Medicare today. In other words, if you needed a life-saving operation, Medicare will not provide coverage anymore after 2013 if you are 75 or over. When in 2013? “We haven’t been given a specific date — could be in January or July….but it’s after the election.”

This is shocking to any of us who will be 75 this year. Her advice, get healthy and stay healthy. We do not know the specifics of the actual implementation of the full Obama Care policies and procedures — “they haven’t filtered down

to the local level yet. But we are already seeing severe cuts in what we provide to the elderly — we refused dialysis to an individual who was 78 just the other day….we refused to give stents to a gentleman who was in his late 80s.”

Every day, she said, we are seeing these cutbacks aimed at reducing care across the board for anyone who is over 75.

We can only hope that Obama Care will be overturned by the Supreme Court — otherwise, this is a death sentence to those who are over 75….perhaps you should pass this on to your friends who are thinking of voting for Obama this year.

Note: Anyone not voting at all, is a Vote for Obama…..

Regardless if you have private health care coverage now (I have Aetna Medicare Part B) — it will no longer apply after 2013 if the Ethics Panels disapprove of a procedure that may save your life.

Didn’t know about it? Of course, not. As Nancy Pelosi said….”well, if you want to know what’s in the bill, you’ll have to read it…..” After it was passed.

This is a graphic reminder of the need to stay healthy. Get your plot now at Forest Lawn….while they last. Is this a death sentence to those of  YOU who will reach 75?…..Yes!
