We see lots of pictures of wounded male veterans
but women vets get wounded and maimed too.
You may need to take a second, closer look though.
The first thing I saw was a bunch of beautiful smiles.
Study this picture again. Let the story it tells sink in.
These women and many others, as well as their male comrades,
paid this price for our freedoms.
And, they did it for less than what welfare recipients are paid!!!
DID YOU GET THAT?!?
There is more patriotism and class in those 11 ladies pictured
than the majority of Congress and the former White House combined!!!
And a HECK of a lot more than those over-paid athletes
who choose to “take a knee” when the National Anthem is played!!!
 
They risked these injuries (or death) FOR YOU and ME, AMERICA!

Transgenders In The Military

Unless you have served in the active duty military you have no right to even discuss these issues. It takes a lot of guts to sign up and lose many rights you have had  for a given period of time. I volunteered to serve and went through this experience at 17 years old. When I served, segregation was still in effect and that was wrong. The Navy not only made me a man quickly it introduced me to the honor of being a veteran of the United States Military. Even the government can’t deny me the right of being “Honorably” Discharged. If you don’t have the desire to volunteer to serve in the military they certainly don’t want you for sure      C Brewer   8-3-17

Nobody has a “right” to serve in the Military.  Nobody.

What makes people think the Military is an equal opportunity employer?  Very far from it.  

The Military uses prejudice regularly and consistently to deny citizens from joining for being too old or too young, too fat or too skinny, too tall or too short.  

Citizens are denied for having flat feet, or for missing or additional fingers.  Poor eyesight will disqualify you, as well as bad teeth.  Malnourished?  Drug addiction?  Bad back?  Criminal history?  Low IQ?  Anxiety?  Phobias?  Hearing damage?  Six arms?  Hear voices in your head?  Self-identify as a Unicorn?  Need a special access ramp for your wheelchair?  Can’t run the required course in the required time?  Can’t do the required number of pushups?

Not really a “morning person” and refuse to get out of bed before noon?  

All can be reasons for denial.  

The Military has one job.  War.  Anything else is a distraction and a liability.

Did someone just scream “That isn’t Fair”?  War is VERY unfair, there are no exceptions made for being special or challenged or socially wonderful.  

YOU change yourself to meet Military standards.  Not the other way around.  

I say again:  You don’t change the Military… you must change yourself.  

The Military doesn’t need to accommodate anyone with special issues.  The Military needs to Win Wars.  

If any of your personal issues are a liability that detract from readiness or lethality… Thank you for applying and good luck in future endeavors.  Who’s next in line?

SOME CARE FOR OUR VETERANS!

My great friend, Dr. Peter Forrest, shared this wonderful story that I hope everyone that reads this will share it with everyone they know. Every golfer on Earth needs to read this and even if you are not a golfer it should put a tear in your eyes. Even Snopes (who are politically biased) stated this story is true! Please help circulate this wonderful story.

I played the Disney, Lake Buena Vista course. As usual the starters matched me with three other players. After a few holes we began to get to know each other a bit. One fellow was rather young and had his wife riding along in the golf cart with him.

I noticed that his golf bag had his name on it and after closer inspection, it also said “wounded war veterans “.

When I had my first chance to chat with him I asked him about the bag.

His response was simply that it was a gift. I then asked if he was wounded and he said yes. When I asked more about his injury, his response was “I’d rather not talk about it, sir”.

Over a few holes I learned that he had spent the last 15 months in an army rehabilitation hospital in San Antonio, Texas. His wife moved there to be with him and he was released from the hospital in September. He was a rather quiet fellow; however, he did say that he wanted to get good at golf.

We had a nice round and as we became a bit more familiar I asked him about the brand new set of Ping woods and irons he was playing. Some looked like they had never been hit.

His response was simple. He said that this round was the first full round he had played with these clubs. Later in the round, he told me the following.

As part of the discharge process from the rehabilitation hospital, Ping comes in and provides three days of golf instruction, followed by club fitting. Upon discharge from the hospital, Ping gives each of the discharged veterans, generally about 40 soldiers, a brand new set of custom fitted clubs along with the impressive golf bags.

The fellow I met was named Ben Woods and he looked me in the eye and said that being fitted for those clubs was one of the best things that ever happened to him and he was determined to learn to play golf well enough to deserve the gift Ping had given him.

Ben is now out of the service medically discharged just a month ago. He is as fine a young man as you would ever want to meet.

Ping, whose products are made with pride here in America (Arizona), has the good judgement not to advertise this program.

This put a tear in this 86-year-old Navy veteran who took up golf seriously when I retired 23 years ago. I enlisted at 17 and after 5 years I was honorably discharged over 64 years ago. FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION OR GO HOME.

I may be the only American who is fed up with even our own President and Government ignoring our Constitution and laws of the land. I just read an article written by Cathy Burke in Newsmax that made my blood boil.

“Trump is Typical Person Without a Soul”. The Demoncrats invited a Muslim, Khizr Khan, to make the above statement on National TV. This was the lowest move to try to get “Hillary, The Witch”, again my wife would not let me use a “B”, elected to be President of the United States. Mr. Khan lost a son fighting the same Muslims who wish to conquer the world as a US soldier. That son deserves to be honored as an American hero for serving and dying in the military. I honor his service but if he volunteered and served in the military he swore to follow our Constitution just like every alien who is accepted as a US citizen. If he could have watched his death be used in an election as his father made statements about Donald Trump he would spin in his grave. I dearly hope Trump files charges against Mr. Khan for slander. Only God knows if a man has a soul and MR Khan is not God.

Of all people in the world that would allow this slander be used as a political support, “Hillary the Witch” lost her soul many years ago She and her “druggies” from Woodstock fame slandered our troops that fought in Viet Nam. I am certain the parents of the nearly 60,000 young Americans who died fighting a war for the Demoncrats would not vote for her to be President of a dog pound.

Mr. Khan related that Mr. Trump “is totally unfit for the leadership of this beautiful country”. He has no idea what Trump will do. His other statements that really upset me were; “The world has seen the blackness of his character, of his soul, that he is void of recognizing, empathizing with people” and “Muslims hate the menace of terrorism”.

If Mr. Khan is so upset with the menace of Muslim terrorism why didn’t he fight for his freedom where he came from? He has not changed his religion or mentioned the inhuman slaughter of tens of thousands of people including several thousand American troops in the past several years by Muslims. If there are two, three, four or more kinds of Muslims then someone needs to set the world straight. I have read many times that a true Muslim cannot be a law abiding American citizen if they follow the Muslim faith. If I am wrong send me the references that allow a Muslim swear to our Constitution and laws and still be a true Muslim.

Using Mr. Khan’s belief regarding anyone not having a soul, we have never had a President, a Congressman, a Supreme Court Judge or probably anyone in our government with a soul. If he is suggesting that “Hillary the Witch” or any Demoncrats have a soul he is a babbling idiot.

America needs is a business man who will unite the people before we become a Muslim nation. It is time we had a President that cared about our neglected veterans than illegals and Muslims. America was successful until we started adopting foreign languages, customs and holidays. I am not against immigration if the people desire to become Americans. A Muslim who worships the Koran, peaceful or militant, can never be a lawful American citizen or he either violates his faith or our Constitution. Again prove me wrong with facts and I will recant my statements.

I will share some thoughts for Demoncrats, aliens, Muslims, Black lives Matter, Hispanics and white old settlers. We all better pray that the real Americans, our native Indians, who live in squalor and like prisoners, never gain freedom to kill us all as invaders. They must watch with amusement while they see how our first Black President has divided us so surgercially in just short of eight years. Never lose hope.

MEMORIAL DAY – 2016 POLITICAL PROTEST? – INVITATION!

I sat down at my PC today to do an article on Memorial Day and the sacrifices so many Americans have made in my lifetime to protect our freedoms. I have recently written several articles and posted many instances of how America mistreats its veterans on Facebook. Millions of Americans, including myself, have freely volunteered to serve in one of our military services in their lifetime.

The government owes me nothing, I have never asked for anything as I was fortunate to live the American dream and able to provide for myself. Unfortunately due to wounds, injuries, inhuman treatment, neglect, imprisonment and Agent Orange administered by our own government in Viet Nam, we continue to have thousands of wonderful Americans who need help.

Every member of Congress, the President and every employee of the US government should be ashamed of the torture they have designed to treat these brave veterans. The saddest part is our President and Congress are more interested in providing free services to aliens, legal and illegal, to buy their votes. This includes both Demoncrats and Republicans and they just ignore the travesty year after year.

Along come a fresh, brash, successful American named Donald Trump and the people like myself have arisen to tell Washington that we have had enough. He is the first politician in my 85 years that has promised to actually treat the veterans with equal healthcare service. This one promise gained my vote and support as none of the others who have and are still running care about the veterans. I will also add that Trump’s promise to “stop” the illegal alien invasion and the Obama acts of inviting known enemies to enjoy all of the benefits for Americans, except military veterans, are provided.

At the same time I was listening to the news which was showing the scenes of recent protest, political dissent, including civil disobedience at a Seattle May Day protest marred by unbelievable violence. I typed into Google to read about “Recent political violence in America”. What happened was unreal as I was given access to 88,700,000 Search Results.

To accentuate the “Disunited States of America let me share some of the near ninety million illustrations it appears available for review:

Mar 14, 2016 – “Tonight wild, chair-swinging violence erupted at a Trump rally” in Detroit”.

“Donald Trump and Why America is Hurtling toward a Violent schism”.

If Congress had a scintilla of common sense or an ounce of decent honesty they would enact legislation with 100% support on this Memorial Day. This law would demand immediate arrest of every protester at any violent event, even if they were just watching and send them to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. These lazy sleaze bags, likely on welfare or college professors could all protest actual events of civil disobedience, inhuman treatment and real warfare. Pay them what we pay the military that we send to these God forsaken places.

To my fellow American veterans I wish you a wonderful Memorial Day we likely will celebrate among ourselves.

To Congress, President Obama, the Supreme Court, our media, spineless protesters, Illegal invaders, Progressive -Liberals and our leaderless government, let me invite you all to

APOPTOSIS (āp’əp-tō’sĭs, āp’ə-tō’-)

I actually spent more time looking for a way to capture your attention by searching for a real term to discuss what is actually happening in America. I was fascinated to discover that “Implode”, “Self-Destruct”, and other terms being used to describe what is happening in the United States today are poorly defined by the dictionaries available. After deeply reading and writing about what is happening from within to destroy the greatest country ever created by man I pray that Donald Trump can continue to wake up this sleeping giant.

Before I try to explain why I choose this word it reminded me of the “progressive” movement that has been underway in America. The Progressives really have no singular political affiliation. My reading has revealed that the father of this movement was Theodore Roosevelt. His edicts and actions allowed the taking over millions of acres of land by every way possible to enhance the power of the central government. Every Progressive since has made federalizing more assets to continue to empower centralized control as a replacement for “States Rights”.

To try to make the analogy fit my chosen title let me wordsmith the definition of Apoptosis to what has and is continuing to happen in America. This term is defined as a “natural process of cell self-destruction that is genetically programmed to have a limited life span or is damaged. Apoptosis can be induced either by a stimulus, toxic drugs, or by removal of a repressor agent. The cells disintegrate then eliminated by phagocytosis, also called programmed cell death. Should you choose to dig deeper with an open mind you would find that all freedom loving Americans would perceive that Trump is our last hope to be our phagocytosis. If you intend to vote for Hillary or Bernie don’t waste your time trying to understand my thesis. You will just end up chasing your tail like a mindless puppy. Funny I used this analogy as anyone who could possibly vote for either of these Demoncratic and fiercely Progressive candidates is either mindless or brainwashed.

Trump is the first American to run for President who is either not owned by the Progressives or is too dumb to know he is being used like marionette. Carter was the first in my lifetime and Obama has proven he is so self-centered and hate filled he has accelerated the movement to self-destruct at the speed of light.

Folks America is broken. Our central government is hell-bent on eliminating all States Rights. Obama has misused Executive Orders to accelerate enough hatred to incite both the black Americans and Hispanic illegal aliens to increase rebellion, destruction of property and eventually mass bloodshed to start another civil war. He has decimated the most senior leadership of our military. He has choked the development of advanced weapons. He armed the Mexican cartels with weapons to incite insurrections. He applauds the actions of destruction of personal property by those he has induced to hate successful Americans.

Obama is just another puppet for the Progressives and does not even care or know why. He hates America, freedoms and white people. He has scared Congress so bad they just sit on their hands and watch as there is no leadership today. He has total control of a totally biased Justice Department today. After eliminating Justice Scalia, we have a leaderless Supreme Court that today uses compassion and Progressive objectives to enact decisions rather than our Constitution and Bill of Rights. The scariest possible thing I have written about before is the damage that will happen should Hillary or Bernie be elected President. The next President will be nominating replacements for the Supreme Court that will control America’s destiny for the next 100 years if not forever and/or total self-destruction.

Unfortunately the people who will be hurt the worse will never read this and even a babbling idiot understands that a welfare society is only possible if you have a never ending supply of ducks that lay golden eggs. You can tax the rich until they have no more but somebody has to work to survive. Our central government has destroyed one of the best educational systems in the world with unionization and greed. Taxes have driven our most productive and inventive manufacturing organizations to move to other countries to survive as they can’t compete with American labor demands.

Donald Trump can be our Pied Piper and clean up the Washington swamp if enough American people are fed up with watching our country drown in regulation, insane climate propaganda and welfare ourselves to the poorhouse.

We faced a similar fate when I was a boy in the 1930’s and woke up when the Germans and Japanese Progressives tried to conquer the world. The Progressives forced the depression just like they are using Obama today to bankrupt the country so the Progressives can increase their power.

As I am in the last years of my life Obama has just made my retirement more of a challenge that I had planned for. What really disturbs me is that my 46 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will face the rest of their lives a slave to a federal government that just keep destroying the freedoms I have loved so much.

As next Monday is Memorial Day let me wish all of my fellow veterans of military service a wonderful life. America was the greatest and can be the greatest nation again if enough people will vote for Donald Trump. There will never be another chance if the Progressives get four more years.

CONUNDRUMS!

I have been under the weather for over five weeks and they can’t isolate ant reason why. One trip to the ER, three different Doctors and every test imaginable have been punishing but it appears that approaching 86 is the cause. I still read every day but concentrating required to write has been difficult.

Thankfully I have many friends who share articles and until I can improve I will share some of the most interesting with you. The article “Conundrums” was sent by my old friend Dr. Peter Forrest. I hope you enjoy the unique analogies as much as I did? I have no idea who wrote this and if you know I would be delighted to give credit if known. C Brewer

Conundrums

“A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don’t have one, you’ll probably never need one again.” 

The definition of the word Conundrum is: something that is puzzling or confusing. 

Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America

1. America is capitalists and greedy – yethalf of the population is subsidized.

2. Half of the population is subsidized – yet they think they are victims. 

3. They think they are victims – yet their representatives run the government. 

4. Their representatives run the government – yet the poor keep getting poorer. 

5. The poor keep getting poorer – yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about. 

6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about – yet they want America to be more like those other countries. 

Think about it! And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century. Makes you wonder who is doing the math. 

These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment: 

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.     

Funny how that works. And here’s another one worth considering… 

2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money.  But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money !What’s interesting is the first group “worked for” their money, but the second didn’t. 

Think about it…..and Last but not least : 

3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens. 

Am I the only one missing something?

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO AMERICA?

If you have never read anything I ever wrote please read and share this with every real American possible. This is a factual story of what happened to two Honorably Discharged Veterans of the US military on Wednesday September 16, 2015. One of these individuals happens to be myself and the other I will protect his identity and just call him “Jim”.

Jim and I were both born in 1930 in Texas. I enlisted in the US Navy reserve shortly after my 17th birthday after graduating from high school at 16 in 1947. Jim was born on December 6th and did not finish high school until 1948 and he enlisted in the Army shortly after his 18th birthday. We both went on active duty in 1948. Our lives took different paths but we are both proud and loyal American citizens living out the rest of our lives in Sabine County Texas.

Yesterday we both had medical issues and how these transpired is sad, unfair, biased and should be criminal charges against every member of Congress, the military, the President and it is a reflection of how warped our values have become in America. I hope everyone running for President would be forced to explain what they intend to do about the way our veterans are being treated but only one, Donald Trump, has had the courage to even discuss this issue.

For those who are unaware, all veterans benefits are means tested and because of my successful business life, I am not qualified to get a free aspirin from the Veterans Administration for the four plus years I served a long long time ago. This article is not about me as I can afford to buy supplemental insurance. Just for those of you who have not reached 65, Medicare is not free, in fact my friend “JIM” is also on Medicare. What you may not know is what is not free. Medicare only covers 80% of medical costs and then you pay the other 20% or buy supplemental insurance. As a benchmark the costs of Medicare supplemental insurance for my wife and I is exceeds $700 a month and our deductible costs each year is over $500.

Even Medicare has limitations on extended costs and to make sure a major medical event dos not deplete our entire savings, we pay some $800 a year for a catastrophic $25,000 deductible insurance policy.

Jim had to arise at 5:30am yesterday and his daughter had to drive him to Lufkin Texas, some 60 + miles to catch a Veterans Administration bus to the VA hospital in Houston Texas. He has suffered a mild stroke a few moths ago and this was a followup visit to see the doctor. They picked up other veterans and arrived at the hospital about 10:30am. They had time for lunch before his appointment at 1pm. The Doctor examined him, found no problems and they got back on the VA bus and arrived in Lufkin at 5:30pm, drove home and he does not have to go back for a year. Tomorrow Jim and his daughter have to return to the small VA clinic in Lufkin for a visit with another VA doctor for another unrelated health issue. Another issue that was a shock to me was that he is not reimbursed for any travel as he and his wife’s combined income exceeds the means test. Listening to this story today made me want to throw up.

Yesterday I had to go to our local hospital to have test run on my legs and feet for circulation evaluations as I am experiencing medical issues that involve my balance and two recent falls that were scary. Old age is not for sissies. I left home at 12:30 for a 15 minute trip to the Sabine County Hospital some 8 miles away. They spent two hours ultrasonically testing my legs and feet. I was home by 3:30. You can easily see that my medical situation was a lot easier to take care of.

The part that makes my blood boil is an illegal alien could have gone to the Emergency Room at the local hospital with a hang nail or a hangover and would have been treated as an indigent person and guess what? Jim and I, along with the rest of Sabine County taxpayers, would have to pay for the treatment, as no one can be turned away.

Folks, if you are happy about this true scenario, you are a raving idiot. Why is Donald Trump and Ted Cruz the only ones running for President being attacked for trying to fix this inequity? America is a wreck because of politics. Watching the recap of last nights GOP debate was another disappointing waste of time. I refuse to actually watch these debates as they have become verbal sword fights between adults, well some of them qualify but watching people self-destruct live is not entertaining and no way informative. Well I suppose watching grown people making an ass of themselves may be most entertaining to Demoncrats (not misspelled)?

America has changed so much in my 85 years that is scares me that my grandchildren will not enjoy the freedoms that people like “Jim”, myself and so many other veterans served to protect that have been destroyed by politicians.  C Brewer 9-17-2015

VETERANS BENEFITS – WOUNDED WARRIORS!

Before I share some disturbing facts about the use of compassion, possibly material to make some feel guilty and distorted messages, I am a veteran of the US Navy. I was never wounded and I have never had to depend on the US government for any free veteran benefit. I qualify for a military funeral but I have decided to be cremated at no cost to the government.

Either intelligence, luck or a burning desire to be successful saved me from the embarrassment of depending on our government to give me anything. Having married young and a father at 18, I did qualify for a GI low-interest loan on my first house before I ever owned a car at age 23. Later in life I had a Texas Veterans low-interest loan on some land that was an eventual poor investment.

Those veterans who were not as fortunate as myself should never have to depend on a charity of any kind to receive humane treatment for anything. There are hundreds of charities devoted to helping veterans but one, Wounded Warriors, is plastered on commercials on every TV channel 24/7 and when you read the following facts I have taken from an article posted by Tony Oliva on July 3, 2015 you should be as upset as I am. The biggest shame is the stories of how the veterans are mistreated with lack of healthcare. Every Congress person should be forced to answer one question, WHY?

He mentions other charities worse than WWP.

He went to the Wounded Warrior Project website and reviewed their tax return from 2013.

Line 1b, total revenue, the money that the Wounded Warrior Project brings in was $234,682,943.  Over 200 MILLION dollars in a year.

Now, how was that money spent?  Let’s first look at what goes toward helping vets. Look at the numbers.

Alumni: Whatever this is?   $31,466,113

Combat Stress Recovery:    $16,127,622

Soldier Ride:                         $8,824,978

Other Program Services:      $60,780,024

That means that 49.93% of money that the WWP raised actually went to helping wounded vets.

Now look at where the rest of the money was spent:

Compensation and benefits for WWP employees and directors: $26,182,966.

$15, 218,191 for office space.

Nearly $2 MILLION for I.T?

Just under $5 MILLION for occupancy costs?

$6,377,443 for travel expenses?  Mr. Oliva stated that travel expenses are NOT for sending wounded vets around the country. That expense would be listed in the program expenses. This was travel expenses for WWP employees traveling around the country.

Consulting costs: $33,081,349

Meeting and events was nearly $17 MILLION.

All in all the total expenses for “running” the Wounded Warrior Project total $158,073,943 “WOW”.

DEMOCRATS CAN’T BE HONEST!

READ THIS AND SEE ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF LEGAL GOVERNMENT FRAUD

My good friend Allan Moore shared this with me and if you believe that our government is honest and ethical you are a raving idiot. This has never happened before Obama who is evil, dishonest and a disgrace. If you vote for any democrat that supports his policy you are equally as bad. The worst part is that the media, including Fox and Congresspersons running for re-election hide it from the people, senior citizens, who live on fixed incomes. C Brewer

Did you receive your Medicare Handbook for 2015 yesterday? If you have already received yours in the mail please turn to page 12 and go down to the bottom of the page and read “Find out what you pay for Medicare (Part A and Part B). It states that the premium and deductible amounts were not available at the time of printing. It further states you may call 1-800-633-4227 to get the most up-to-date info.

I did just that and talked with a Medicare representative. She told me that they probably would not have those figures in until the end of the first week or possibly the second week of November. Now, let that sink in …

As soon as she stated that to me I replied, “My, isn’t that convenient for the Obama Administration to actually hold off on those figures until after the 2014 election results.” There was dead silence on the other end of the line. I told her thank you and I would call back.

I may be wrong, but as I see it, I really think I am right!

You see on our Social Security increase for next year we are only receiving an increase of around 1%-1.7%. Even the military are getting just over 1%-1.7%. You can bet after the November 4th election the increases for Medicare A & B will be greater than any 1%-1.7%. That is why they are delaying what the increases will be. Because if they had put it in that handbook, any elderly would be voting against the Democrats.

So anyone voting for the Democrats in the forthcoming elections deserves to get the increases that are coming after November 4th.

Thanks Allan, I hope the internet can make this available before the election. Rumor is that the premiums and the deductible will be increased 100% in 2015. That will costs each average senior nearly $2,000.00 more next year. That is going to hurt millions of Americans who barely get by today. The government tells seniors the increase next year in Social Security will average about $20 a month or $240 a year. Senior citizens have no place in Obama and the Democrats new society, just die and go away. CB
