TRUMP’S FIRST BIG MISTAKE!

I have supported our President since he announced his intention to seek the office. The reason for my decision was that he was only the second American from a major political group to seek the office who was not a career politician. The other was Dwight Eisenhower who was also the first person I was able to vote for to be President a long time ago. I had spent over four years in the Navy, three and a half on active duty. I was Married with one daughter and one on the way when I cast my first vote for anything.

Now we have Americans voting at 18 that can’t add 2 + 2, ignored by society or preparing to enter a college or University. After four years of being taught to ignore the Constitution, how to spit on or burn our flag, hate our military and demonstrate before they graduate. This has been happening long enough now to divide the people and spew hate in every direction. The hate in America appears to have reached a crescendo that will end with another civil war if Trump fails.

Watching every move Trump had promised to do, several have ended up squashed by Congress, the political driven Supreme court or the Demoncratic Secret Society. These groups have funded protest for everything possible and are corrupting every Federal Agency including the FBI, the State Department and likely every arm of Government. The media is using every event to stir up Americans with fake news, hysterical lies, innuendos to motivate the young people to riot, damage property and hate our country.

Trump has been systematically doing things he promised in the months of bloodthirsty and savage campaigning. He has started draining the swamp as promised while having to fight both the Republican and Democratic losers who have nearly led and managed America to bankruptcy and third world stature.

Much to my surprise he has now attacked one of the most innovative and expertly managed companies since Sam Walton started Sam’s Clubs and Walmart. He has, for some strange reason, mounted an attack on Amazom.com for taking advantage of a contract with the Postal Service. If he has a problem with Jeff Bezos he should attack what Amazon has done wrong. I doubt the Amazon folks took advantage of an agency that has never made a profit in history. President Trump should have avoided the Postal Service, Tennessee Valley Authority and Amtrac when starting a fight with anyone about failure. He should be trying to privatize these perennial failures and eliminate the losses written off every year. If he is jealous of Bezos wait until he is no longer President. He should be trying to get Amazon to modernize every government agency that exists and save us Trillions by “Doing the Right Things Right the First Time”. This was the slogan for my companies

If the truth were known I imagine the contract Amazon has with the Postal Service was sought after by the USPS? Before he attacked by backstabbing Amazon he should have asked some questions.How many people did the USPS employ just to do the increased Amazon workload.

If it was none, what were the people doing before the added work?

If it was 2,000 new people, what will they do if the Amazon contract is ended? My guess is nothing, what is your guess?

Of all the recent new companies Amazon operations and leadership should be used to teach our Government how to be successful. I doubt Amazon has a pension program that allows people to retire after 20 years service. I spent 27 years, 25 in management, for a major corporation. I did leave them to improve my family’s life but had my 27 years been in management for a Government Agency I could have retired at 47 instead of 63 and be enjoying my 40th year of a fat Government pension. Instead I retired at 65 with the 27 years of service. I have drawn $221.47 each month for 22 years now with zero, none, nada other benefits.  

If “Joe American” working in any position similar to a Government worker had any idea the difference he will get in pension benefits there would be Hell to pay explaining why. I hope President Trump will keep his focus to level the playing field and adjust the Government employee benefits to match private industry. Leave Amazon alone unless they break the law. Get the FBI honest and make every Government agency out there justify their existence. Start with the USPS as I feel certain any successful business in America could make a profit managing them in less than two years. I know I could if I had the funding.

Wal-Mart vs. The Morons

My good friend Dan Fussel sent me this analogy of facts that put some interesting emphasis on how screwed up our government has become. America became the most powerful and successful country in the world because we allowed brilliant and creative individuals to improve so much creativity and success.

As our government grew and started creating taxes, regulations and focusing on what we can’t do instead of allowing the creative to help us prosper. Wal-Mart is a perfect example of how America was the land of opportunity. Now we watch Demoncrats doing everything possible to attack their success with demands we raise the minimum wage and provide fringe benefits just like they have in manufacturing things.

The liberals have killed our ability to make anything and we have watched millions of jobs flee America for countries that covet having work for its people. Folks, listen to Donald Trump who at least knows how to make money making things again. We have created a welfare class of citizens that is bankrupting us. 

Then we opened the borders to illegal aliens to work cheap but burden to give them healthcare, education and other social services that accelerate our path to financial ruin. Open your eyes and see that the future for our children will not provide them with the freedoms and success we enjoyed. Trump may be our last chance to fix the government that has gone mad with power and welfare to buy votes.  C Brewer

90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart. You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that

MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the economy.

To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature, it is now official that the majority of you are corrupt morons:

The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 240 years to get it right and it is broke.

Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 80 years to get it right and it is broke.

Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 77years to get it right and it is broke.

War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 51 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to “the poor” and they only want more.

Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 50 years to get it right and they are broke.

Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 45 years to get it right and it is broke.

The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 38 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every “government service” you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars.

AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM??

Folks, keep this circulating. It is very well stated. Maybe it will end up in the e-mails of some of our “duly elected’ (they never read anything) and their staff will clue them in on how Americans feel.

I know what’s wrong. We have lost our minds to “Political Correctness”!!!!!!!

Someone please tell me what is wrong with all the people who run this country!!!!!!

We’re “broke” and can’t help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc. and the last months we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile, and Turkey and now Pakistan (the previous home of bin Laden). literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!

Our retired seniors living on a ‘fixed income’ receive no aid nor do they get any breaks.

AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without needed medicines, and mentally ill without treatment, etc.

Imagine if the GOVERNMENT gave U. S. the same support they give to other countries. Sad isn’t it?

And the Washington elite wonder why so many people identify with Donald Trump’s message – basically all of the above – and don’t trust the dishonest self-promoting Clintons with their self-enriching positions of power plays!

COMPUTERS – They change your life!

 

This has been “HELL” week for me. My usually calm life of golfing, afternoon naps and evening bingo was interrupted by a computer hacker. 125 of my closest friends and I received an “E” mail from me at my Yahoo address that I was in trouble. It was from me and to me at another “E” address.

I was asking all of my friends and myself to send me money as I had been robbed in the Philippines.  My passport had been confiscated and I was prevented from leaving as I could not pay my hotel bill of over $3000. If you responded, it told you to send me money at a Manila address.

Many of my 125 friends know that I worked in 32 countries and by 3pm on Wednesday the 9th I had received over 30 phone calls and about the same number of “E” mails from as far away as Australia checking to see if this was true. What surprised me was all of my friends were aware I retired over 17 years ago. As strange as it might seem, I have never been to the Philippines in my life.

I had earlier tried to send a message to my Yahoo friends but the hacker had destroyed my entire Yahoo account. I did send “E” mails to everyone I could think of from another address. I sent the following message and also recorded a message on my answering machine. “I have not been robbed, I am not in the Philippines but if they wished to send money, I needed new golf balls. Just send the money to my Hemphill, Texas mailing address. We left to avoid the calls.

I visited with people I had not seen or talked to in years and even had an invitation to play golf in Houston. I was overwhelmed to realize I had that many people who cared enough to call or send messages.

My Yahoo account also contained links to some 20 websites I subscribe to for keeping up with world events. When Fox News let Glenn Beck get away, I stopped watching the news media all together. With perpetual 24/7 politics, I stopped the newspapers a year ago and without Beck to challenge my knowledge of American History, news was so slanted it made me sick.

I used my Yahoo account to survive living in rural America. Our closest Mall is 60 miles away and we are 8 miles from the big city of Hemphill, Texas. Our closest Wal-Mart is 24 miles away in Many, Louisiana. If Amazon and E-Bay ever closed, we would be devastated. Well, my Amazon I.D. number was my Yahoo address as well as the 20 other links. For those of you not computer literate, you also have to have a password. When you link up with the sites they ask for your I.D. number and password. They don’t know you no longer have the Yahoo address and when you enter your password, you get a message that your I.D. and password will not work and ask you to re-enter your password and they provide no way to tell them your I.D. is the problem. If you forget your password every site can provide you with the information by sending an “E” mail to your, guess what, your Yahoo address that is now defunct.    

Lesson two for the illiterate, it takes a wizard to find a way to talk to anyone at Yahoo, Google, Amazon, E=Bay or the hundreds of other places to buy things. They are not equipped to speak to you as they provide 10,000 probable answers for you to choose from to solve what they have determined to be the solution to all possible things that can go wrong when you buy from them. I had an issue with E-bay a few months back and after three hours of total frustration I finally found a mailing address and a couple of weeks later they did send me an “E” mail but never provided me a way to talk to a human. I just stopped using E-Bay except for emergency items.

My first attempt was to revive my Amazon purchasing ability that I usually use 3 or 4 times a week. After an hour I finally found a way to send them an “E” mail that was promptly answered and “bonanza”, I actually got a phone number and nearly fainted. I made the call and after answering 10 minutes of options to press buttons, I had a human voice ask if she could help me. I regret I failed to write her name down as she was an “Angel”. She was patient, courteous and spent 30 minutes helping get my account straightened out and I was free to order again.

Buying with Amazon has introduced me to some great new friends, mostly at UPS. The delivery people know Norma and I by our first names as we see them more often than our four children and 8 grandchildren combined. It would not have surprised us to see them come by to make sure we are OK if a week passed without an Amazon delivery.

I know what you city folks will say, why don’t they move back to the city? The reason is we enjoy the paradise of living in a County with slightly over 10,000 in the 600 square miles of area. We don’t have one red/green stop light in the County and only four 4 way stop signs. I wake up to see from a window without curtains across a lake that is 80 miles long between Texas and Louisiana. I can hear birds sing, see stars at night and we rarely hear an airplane or helicopter, day or night.

Not unexpected, I have not yet heard from Yahoo and probably never will. I spent a day trying to find a number to call and finally found a way to send an “E” mail. The new generation of online businesses makes so much money they have no interest in customer satisfaction. They have so many customers, who cares if you are troubled.

GOVERNMENT MANAGED BUSINESSES

 

I have created nine different businesses in the US and Canada in my lifetime. I retired some 17 years ago and three of these businesses have survived, all three over 21 years and two over 27 years. Why, because they made a profit. Two were sold and four were failures.

One would think that any business venture would be sold, disbanded or reorganized if it failed to produce a positive return on investment. I have served on or consulted with several non-profit organizations in my 81 years and they have to at least break even to survive. This business segment is not allowed to make a profit; it is called a “net favorable balance”. Depending on the ingenuity of the creators and the diligence of the IRS, this form of business can provide some extremely attractive salaries and fringe benefits. I have always regretted I did not attempt to be a television evangelist or become a politician and really make some big bucks. The residuals alone would be awesome.

Our government chose to create the US Postal Service (USPS) a long time before Fred Smith was born. I suppose there was no one alive at that time to attempt providing the US mail as a company. It was dangerous to avoid Indians and robbers but at least Wells Fargo did deliver packages and probably mail for the government. Our USPS has never come close to producing a net favorable balance in my lifetime. Their losses have multiplied every year and make a sizeable contribution to our national debt every year.

 As citizens we just expect the USPS to deliver the mail and ignore the obvious mismanagement and unionization that will never be corrected. We would never allow this to be Fedex Postal Service, UPS Postal Service or Wal-Mart Postal Service. These companies have demonstrated they can be profitable even with the burden of regulations we keep piling on business with Obama. Two have proven records that have been profitable competing directly with the US Postal Service delivering packages.

Just think about Wal-Mart as our source to deliver the mail. They already have a huge distribution network, stores in nearly every location in the United States. With some changes to eliminate thousands of small Post Offices that survive at the pleasure of politicians we could save  billions. In addition the USPS could sell some equipment they have and any required buildings to Wal-Mart.

Then the thousands of unnecessary USPS buildings could be sold to anyone who thinks they can make a profit in a business located in America. This might be the closest thing to a fairy tale in this article based on the anti-business climate today.

Should the American citizens, illegal aliens and the voting dead can’t muster the courage to completely overhaul the Congress, Executive and Judicial branches of our government today it will just get worse. People have the power to send them to the unemployment lines, including the liberal dingbats on the Supreme Court. Next I will explore selling the USPS and other government managed entities to China. That should be interesting?
