A Conservative View

Praying that Donald Trump can save Americas freedoms!

ACTORS AND INTELLIGENCE!

My good friend Dr. Peter Forrest shared this look into the entertainment world. None of this surprised me as I seldom or never watch a movie unless a proven conservative like Clint Eastwood, Tom Selleck and the few others who have been brave enough to openly admit their conservative credentials. I have no idea who amassed this material but I would like to give them credit unless they desire to remain unknown?

Actors live in a make believe world and we buy into their world which gives them power, prestige and influence…..Of course, many actors are truly smart but that does not give them expertise just a soap box. It is up to us to expose fraud from truth, honest words from script.

The Einstein’s of Hollywood

Ever looked up the education credentials of Hollywood and New York soothsayers?   Most of them rely on knowledge clouds drifting across the Pacific, perhaps from an Asian mystic who wears lots of colorful beads.

The mystic has brought them deep understanding of economics, governance, military affairs and especially science. It inspires bold words on most topics.

LEONARDO DiCaprio’s self-declared climate expertise enables him to speak on the world’s environmental issues with a high-school education.  He never took a college biology, chemistry, physics or climatology course, yet he knows more than most scientists. He proved that by addressing climate change before a full gathering of the UN.

SEAN PENN’s quick takes on everything put him at the lofty level of an Einstein. He visited Iraq once and became an expert on that country.  The same for Iran.  He also became buddies with the brutal Venezuelan communist Hugo Chavez and consistently lauded that murderous thug. Now that Chavez is gone and Venezuelans are raiding dumpsters for food scraps, Penn is having a rare silent moment. Penn deserves some credit for becoming a world-affairs genius based on two years of auto mechanics classes at Santa Monica College.

KATY PERRY’s passion about politics and economics freed her to quit high school at 15 without compromising her expert status. She recently demonstrated wizardry by making an anti-Trump video. It suggested the new president would commit acts similar to forced World War II lockups of loyal Japanese Americans. Perry probably did not know the internment plan was developed and executed by DEMOCRAT President Roosevelt.

ROBERT Danio must also be a quick learner. He acquired amazing scientific knowledge before dropping out of high school.  He knows so much about geology that he joined Artists Against Fracking.  (All the producing wells in his native Manhattan must have provided first-hand experience.)  He’s also an expert on pediatric medicine, enabling him to speak often against vaccinating infants and children.

HARRY BELAFONTE is another multiple-subject whiz who needed little formal education. Some people might think this talented singer might limit his words to songs since his IQ is so low.  Don’t worry. Despite advancing age, he remains expert on most things. When black people of greater intelligence (that’s most black people) say something moderate or conservative, he hurls “the N word” at them.  Decades ago, he loudly denounced Reagan’s elimination of CETA, the Comprehensive Employment Training Act.  It was one of the most wasteful federal programs ever — many vanished dollars, few jobs.  Belafonte tore into Reagan during an interview. Finally, the interviewer asked Belafonte what CETA stood for.  Belafonte had no clue. He knew almost nothing about the act.

ROSIE O’DONNELL was my personal favorite long before her hateful remark that Trump’s 10-year-old son looked autistic.  Her coarse philosophy must be that if you say something loudly, it need not be correct. She also must have skipped chemistry during her high-school education. Otherwise, she would have not have offered “proof” that 9/11 was an inside job. She often bellowed accumulated vast theological knowledge by age 9, when he was “ordained” as a preacher. He didn’t need more than a high-school education to keep marching forward. His most successful high school class must have been “Shystehood”.  Despite one scandal after another, his 2004 run for president stands out. The Federal Election Commission forced him to return $100,000 in taxpayer money provided by FEC. One of many abuses was his $145,146 charge for “Campaign letter preparation — Kinko’s.” Later, FEC fined Sharpton $285,000.that planes could not have brought down the Twin Towers because “steel doesn’t burn.” This constant jackass must not know that high temperatures DO reduce steel’s strength.

AL SHARPTON would be America’s greatest at-large criminal, if not for Hillary’s tens of millions swapped for influence and favors.  Sharpton owes nearly $5 million in delinquent taxes to IRS and New York State. Makes you wonder why NBC/MSNBC would ever hire him. Sharpton

JULIA ROBERTS proves that physical beauty does not ensure a beautiful brain. She had a fling at Georgia State University before pursuing acting lessons and joining a modeling group. Her acting and modeling skills guided her to such thoughtful observations as “Republican” comes between “reptile and “repugnant” in the dictionary.  Impressed?

BROOKE SHIELDS, an Obama supporter, verifies the Roberts theory – that physical beauty does not guarantee a beautiful brain. During her days as a boisterous animal-rights supporter, Shields had a mink coat custom-made.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN Somebody please whisper to Springsteen that his party’s business-crunching regulations and world-leading corporate tax rate compels U.S. manufacturers to go elsewhere.

Finally, two others are outside the entertainment world, disqualifying them from winning an Oscar, Emmy or Grammy.  Politicians Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters do compete for the Rock Head of the Year trophy each time they speak.  Pelosi frequently wins with comments like needing to pass a bill “so we can find out what’s in it.”  Waters has already locked up the 2017 trophy for suggesting a Trump impeachment over his campaign antics. Listen closely, Maxine. “Presidents can be impeached only for what they do in office could have been No. 1 on this list. He squabbled with nuns when in Catholic school. Transferring to a public school, he thought so little of the education experience that he skipped graduation. Had he gone to college, he might have majored in Hate 101. That’s what we hear when he’s not singing. He claims Trump is a “moron” who advocates “white nationalism.” Springsteen demonstrates the analytical skills’ void of most show-biz folk when he laments America’s industrialization decline.

ANON

I hope you enjoy learning how smart some of these folks have become parading in front of a camera. If I were allowed to vote on which entertainer or the two astute Congresswomen would win an Oscar for “DUMB””, Maxine is the winner. C Brewer

FREEDOM IS NOT ALWAYS FREE!

I hope every democrat, republican, independent and especially our misguided young people who have been brainwashed by communists dressed like socialists. The following message is extremely important “Facts” recorded by history. At 88 I am in the twilight of some extra years granted and I have been blessed. I enlisted in the US Navy at 17 with the approval of my parents. I am proud I made this decision and I still tear up during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner. Please share this with everyone you know to hopefully help unite us again. Clyde Brewer

Alexander’s Column · Nov. 7, 2018
The Right to Vote, Guaranteed by Patriot Veterans

It is a disgraceful irony that the freedom of those who advocate statist tyranny is ensured by generations of Patriot veterans who have defended Liberty.
Mark Alexander

“Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say, ‘What should be the reward of such sacrifices?’ … If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands, which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!” —Samuel Adams (1777)

Some have said this midterm election was the most critical in history. It wasn’t — far from it. But it was important.

As of this publication, Democrats have won enough congressional seats in the House to take control. But there was no “blue wave.” Republicans may have lost up to 34 House seats, but that compares very favorably to first midterm losses by Democrat presidents.

Demos lost 52 midterm seats in 1994 after Bill Clinton’s election, and a massive 63 midterm seats in 2010 after Barack Obama’s election.

Meanwhile, in the Senate, Republicans did more than just maintain their thin margin; they actually added three and possibly four seats, depending on whether narrow GOP leads hold up in Arizona.

As I’ve written previously, this midterm election was a referendum on Demo voter IQ and whether Democrat Party constituents could free themselves from the Demo/MSM’s “Hate Trump” chokehold on their opinion long enough to acknowledge that our nation is much better off now than it was two years ago.

After all, hating Donald Trump is tantamount to hating half of America.

The Trump administration’s domestic and foreign policy successes are extraordinary, and most notably his free-enterprise economic policies have benefited ALL Americans. In fact, it is those policies that were on the ballot yesterday, versus the fear, anger, hatred, and division offered by the Democrats.

I attended a Trump/Pence rally Sunday, where one of the most rousing ovations he received was in response to this remark: “I am asking every citizen from every party, every background and every race, color and creed, to reject the Democrat politics of anger and division, and to unite behind our proud and righteous destiny as Americans.”

But the Left’s anger and division ruled the day in more than 30 hotly contested congressional districts across the nation, where a majority of voters bought into Democrat hate-mongering and cast ballots against peace and prosperity, endeavoring to halt the progress of the last two years.

What we determined Tuesday is that a growing number of Americans lack the civic understanding to offer a thoughtful vote.

As Managing Editor Nate Jackson wrote on Election Day, “America’s Founders gave us, in the words of Benjamin Franklin, ‘a republic … if [we] can keep it.’ The way we keep that republic is to be informed about who and what we’re voting for. As John Adams wrote, ‘Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people.’ And as Samuel Adams put it, a citizen’s vote is ‘one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.'”

Regarding the election results, one thing is clear in this week when we honor American Veterans. The leftist gains in this midterm dishonor the service and sacrifice of millions of American Patriots in uniform and the generations who came before.

This Sunday marks the 100th anniversary of Veterans Day, a day that honors those who have, for generations, ensured our ability to have free elections.

Last weekend, I was contemplating the extraordinary life of my friend and former neighbor, Medal of Honor recipient Desmond Doss — a man who was small in stature and humble in spirit.

But his Medal of Honor citation, which outlines his extraordinary and repeated acts of valor — saving more than 75 men atop “Hacksaw Ridge” — reads like fiction. What he did simply doesn’t seem possible. But Desmond’s heroism during 22 days of action with the Medical Detachment, 307th Infantry, 77th Infantry Division between April 29 and May 21, 1945, are well documented. In my humble opinion (though he would never have accepted such praise), Desmond’s citation is among the most awe-inspiring of all 3,514 medals awarded since its inception.

In Desmond’s words, “I was praying the whole time. I just kept praying, ‘Lord, please help me get one more [man].'”

We set aside Veterans Day to honor the high price of sacrifice paid by generations of Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coastguardsmen. They have carried forward the banner of Liberty since the first shots were fired at Lexington and Concord. Millions of American Patriots have honored their oaths “to support and defend” the Liberty that was “endowed by our Creator” and enshrined in our Constitution.

Of such sacrifice, 19th century philosopher John Stuart Mill, in his essay “The Contest In America,” wrote, “War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse. A man who has nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance at being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.”

It is a disgraceful irony that, to this day, the freedom of “miserable creatures” who advocate statist tyranny is ensured by generations of Patriot veterans who have defended Liberty.

Of such Patriots, Gen. Douglas MacArthur said, “My estimate of him was formed on the battlefields many, many years ago, and has never changed. I regarded him then, as I regard him now, as one of the world’s noblest figures; not only as one of the finest military characters, but also as one of the most stainless. His name and fame are the birthright of every American citizen. In his youth and strength, his love and loyalty, he gave all that mortality can give. He needs no eulogy from me, or from any other man. He has written his own history and written it in red on his enemy’s breast. But when I think of his patience under adversity, of his courage under fire, and of his modesty in victory, I am filled with an emotion of admiration I cannot put into words. He belongs to history as furnishing one of the greatest examples of successful patriotism. He belongs to posterity as the instructor of future generations in the principles of liberty and freedom. He belongs to the present, to us, by his virtues and by his achievements. … Duty, honor, country: Those three hallowed words reverently dictate what you ought to be, what you can be, what you will be. They are your rallying point to build courage when courage seems to fail, to regain faith when there seems to be little cause for faith, to create hope when hope becomes forlorn.”

It’s worth remembering the words of Army Veteran Charles M. Province: “It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.”

Veterans, it’s been said, are those who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to “The United States of America” for an amount up to and including their life.

Indeed, as President Ronald Reagan declared: “Peace fails when we forget what we stand for. It fails when we forget that our republic is based on firm principles, that with them we are the last best hope of man. … Peace is only maintained and won by those who have clear eyes and brave minds. In memory of those who gave the last full measure of devotion, may our efforts to achieve lasting peace gain strength.”

Our family’s Patriot warrior ancestry begins with those who fought with the Overmountain Men at Kings Mountain. Those early veterans turned the tide of the Revolutionary War, and their legacy extends through the generations to our own son, who today is a Marine infantry officer.

Patriots, on this Veterans Day, and every day of the year, may God bless our men and women in uniform — those who have stood and continue to stand in harm’s way. For their steadfast devotion to duty, honor, and country, we, the American people, offer them and their families our humble gratitude and heartfelt thanks. It is with eternal gratitude that we remember those who have paid the ultimate price in service to our nation.

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” (John 15:13)

Footnote: Fellow Patriots, I ask you to consider a second vote this week that will pay dividends far beyond this election cycle. Please support your Patriot team and help us support and defend Liberty and extend our nation’s legacy of Liberty to the next generation. Support our 2018 Year-End Campaign today. We rely solely on the financial generosity of Patriots like you.

PROGRESS ????

WordPress has been a lot of fun over the last 10 years and gave me a simple foremat to publish 1169 articles and build an audience that enjoy my wide range of subjects. Having worked in 23 countries and visit in 9 more has provided me knowledge of lifestyles, knowledge, heritage, different religions and meet hundreds of new friends worldwide.

I spent the first 32 years, after serving in the US Navy with 31/2 years on activite duty before and during the Korean war. I was no hero but I met, admired and walked beside some Hero’s I will never forget. I spent 27 years in the Aesospace life with one company that changed names several times and was acquired by Lockheed-Martin after my departure. From there I was employed by Otis Engineering, a wholly owned and large Corporation as a Halliburton subsidy.

I joined Otis in 1978 and spent five wonderful years as Director of Quality and had my first experience of responsibility in the foriegn world. I got to see the sands of Saudi Arabia, the tulips and Shell in the Neatherlands, the Fjoirds of Norway, the thrift of Scotland and mant other foriegn and domestic US States. I was introduced to regulation of oil and gas wells, the regulatory requirements managed by the Department of the Interior (Now the Department of Energy.) who used balanced Committees to commicate so much easier that the single source of quality demands like the DOD. Our Government will never share what each other use to assure they get what they pay for. Later as a consultant I authored the first Quality System Requirements, Q-1, for the petroleium industry and administered by the American Petroleium Institute, API)

Today I am 88 and still have complete mental access and knowledge and own a large part of Quality Systems Registrar, the first US owned company to be Accredited to issue certifications to the myraid os companies worldwide. We are 28 years old and have the respect of some 400 companies, a few foriegn.

I am writing this maybe for the last time I will try to use WordPress and maybe the last article of my life. I had knee replacement surgury on June 4th and it is a procedure that is painful and if you bypass adequate therapy it can be painful forever. This was a planned event. Before I left the hospital in Lufkin Texas nine days later I had two Pacemakers installed. The first one was not working satisfactorily. I spent 24 more days in the hospital here where I live in Hemphill Texas, completing therapy..

While I was hospitalized I supposed WordPress which was simple, easy for people like me who can’t or won’t to be a Nerd. They changed the entire system used to create an article. The erased all of my files used to code the articles to mimize the ability of a user to find material he needs to use by catagory, time frame, and other identy to save him time and provide feedback to the author.. I pay for other options that will never be recovered. I have written several request to WordPress for help and the answers I receive tell me they have now aquired so many Nerds who thrive on confusion to bastardize a simple system that will likely help me if I pay more. I do not know if there is a simple system availabe. If you know of one please share it with me. It saddens me that I will lose access to the material I have created these 10 years and I am not certain I will continue to write anymore. If this is my last article thanks for your interest, some who have been reading my work for the entire ten or so years.

GO TRUMP, fight for “Term Limits” and the Swamp will drain itself.

INTERESTING SWAMP ANALOGY!

My Baton Rouge friend, Patsy Sommers, sent me this article that is a great scenario. When you read and absorb the comparison of these two different miserable places, try to decide and tell me which one scares you the most?

A TIME TO DRAIN……………….ANON

As the water level decreased, the creatures were exposed. As the water level disappeared, all that was left was 3 feet of yucky black mud and the roots to dying cypress trees. The fish, snakes, frogs, rats, and birds were all stranded in the yucky mud.

Those creatures of the swamp fought for their lives as the swamp disappeared. The fish flopped around in the black mud looking for some water for life. The frogs croaked incessantly all night while their young pollywogs were stranded lifeless at the top of the black mud. Snakes slithered in every direction in the black mud in search of food. The rats that live in hollows would have abandoned their nests while the birds that feed off the swamp creatures also abandoned the area.
Finally, the mud dried out. No more snakes. No more rats. No more fish. No more frogs. No more mosquitoes. And no more birds that feed off those creatures of the swamp.

That same thing is happening to the political swamp in WASHINGTON D.C. Trump is draining the swamp. His picks for his cabinet are all swamp drainers. Yeah, 3 are from Goldman Sachs. But only 3 of 23. Practically all of his cabinet have executive experience (military, government, or the private sector) … but it is the EXECUTIVE BRANCH, now isn’t it?

The mud is becoming visible as all the creatures who live in the swamp are fighting for their lives. Government employees at the IRS, EPA, and Education are flapping in the mud like dying fish. The lobbyists are slithering here and there looking for government funds like the snakes in the mud especially those who wrote the Obamacare legislation. The liberal media cartel is chirping and croaking all the time like frogs trying to reverse the draining. The tax and spend politicians are dying off like the blood-sucking mosquitoes. The political appointees of Obama are fleeing DC for other jobs like the birds who lost their meal tickets. And the information leakers like Comey and Lynch are looking for new places to nest like the rats that already left the swamp. Soon, all that will remain will be dying institutions like the public education dept. as the dead cypress trees of our society.

Everyone who lived off the swamp is praying for rain. Election rain so Democrats might win some elections from Republicans since the Democrats suffered such horrible defeats during the 8 years of Obama. They want an impeachment rain, so those professional politicians can get rid of Trump, the swamp drainer. Low approval rating rain so the media can claim they were correct about Trump. Virtual rain, fake rain, so pundits can claim that Trump is not making any progress even though the results say the opposite.

Draining the swamp is messy, muddy. But the mud will soon dry. Democrats just lost special elections in Arkansas and Omaha after sinking millions into them. Democrats might grab an election here or there in places like Georgia where the demographics are changing to black communities, but not without millions and millions of campaigns money … and Democrats cannot afford to do that for all the elections in 2018. Democrats must defend 23 Senators in 2018 as compared to 10 for Republicans and Democrats must win 25 seats in the US House from Republicans and then win back 900 state legislative seats and 14 governorships. If Georgia
is an example, that will cost Democrats hundreds of millions to try.

SCOTUS will be rendering its decisions about Trump executive orders just before the 2018 elections … and more than likely,

SCOTUS will rule against the Obama appointed judges who live in the lower court swamps. SCOTUS will help Trump.

Comey is gone. Lynch is in trouble Clinton is back in trouble. The Clinton Foundation donors are talking. Clapper and Yates both said that there is no evidence of collusion between Trump and the Russians.

Schumer is gasping for rain like one of those stranded fish. His Republican swamp buddy McCain is gone… a rat leaving the swamp even though they shared an apartment together. His Wall Street swamp buddies cannot help him. The Washington Post and The New York Times and CNN and NBC are all trying to seed the clouds. But none of it is producing enough rain to help Schumer stop Trump from draining the swamp.

Draining the swamp is loud. Listen to all the hysterical liberal media cartel who are trying to make it rain in order to save the swamp where they live. Chanting. Lies. Rain dances. But no real rain is coming. Only fake rain. The swamp will soon be dry. And when it is, then the next task to make America great again will take root and grow. ANON

ALL REPUBLICANS NEED TO COME OUT AND VOTE OUT THESE DEMOCRATIC SWAMP DWELLING LIBERAL OBSTRUCTIONISTS, IN NOVEMBER!

OUR PRESIDENT NEEDS OUR HELP! LET’S GIVE IT TO HIM IN BIG NUMBERS at voting time! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!

HOW THE 2016 ELECTION WAS WON.

Even a moron should understand this short,  simple, civics lesson, punctuated by some amazing statistics.  I doubt if this is taught in our schools, especially to both our Spanish only speaking citizens and illegal voters.

We have the Electoral College because our Constitutional laws require one.

A 39 second Must Read you should want to pass on.

In their infinite wisdom, the United States’ Founders created the Electoral College to ensure the STATES were fairly represented.  Why should one or two densely populated areas speak for the whole of the nation?

The following list of statistics has been making the rounds on the Internet  It should finally put an end to the argument as to why the Electoral College makes sense.

There are 3,141 counties in the United States.

Trump won 3,084 of them.

Clinton won 57. (let that sink in)

There are 62 counties in New York State.

Trump won 46 of them.

Clinton won 16.

But, Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes.

In the 5 counties that encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens)

Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton won 4 of these counties; Trump only won Richmond)

Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country.

These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles.

The United States is comprised of 3,797,000 square miles.

When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election.

Large, densely populated Democrat cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc.) DO NOT and SHOULD NOT speak for the rest of our country!

And…it’s been verified and documented that those aforementioned 319 square miles are where the majority of our nation’s problems foment.  ANON

Well worth the 39 seconds to read?   Now please share this. I did.

GIVE UP DONKEYS, TRY TO STEAL ANOTHER ELECTION IN 2020.  CB

KILL AN AMERICAN – PART ONE

My friend, Don Dukes, sent me the following article and like myself, Don was born during the American depression in the 1930’s. This basic description of an American was closer aligned to life before the 1960’s and Lyndon Johnson’s acts to create another “Civil War”. Reading this gave me a rush of pride that was intended by the unnamed author who has failed to describe what has happened to American freedoms over my lifetime. This article is being posted on my blog today word for word.

As I am recovering from knee surgery it may be awhile before I complete a part two article. I will explain how the powerful in America are trying to eliminate the middle class which has neutered their power over the past 60 years. Folks, America has a political power war today that only the Americans can settle. It may be another Civil War and if you would like ro send me your comments, questions suggestions regarding America today, just comment on this posting or request my E address.   C Brewer

I did and you may missed this in the rush of news, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper, an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American; any American.

Australian Dentist Response

So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is. So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)

‘An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.

An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navajo, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses.

An American is also free to believe in no religion…… For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.

The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes the God-given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking anything in return………

When Afghanistan was overrun by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country!

As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan. The national symbol of America, The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These, in fact, are the people who built America.

Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families. It’s been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.

So you can try to kill an American if you must.. Hitler did. So did General Tojo , and Stalin , and Mao Tse-Tung, and other bloodthirsty tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

Please keep this going! Pass this around the World  .Then pass it around again. It says it all, for all of us. Please do not just delete. Pass it on first!

Thanks!

America’s Biggest Enemy Today….America!

The political divide we have in America today is the most serious event that has reared its ugly head in my 88 years of being born a free American male. Until the uprising between Americans began, because of the war in Vietnam, America had normal instead of serious problems with race, equality and even immigration issues. Internal issues have been the major reason for every country failure that has happened in history. At this point America’s second Civil War preparations actually are underway with programmed events that seem to force the hatred and increased civil disobedience in far too many places. States and Cities are now openly ignoring Federal Laws and inciting citizens to destroy property and maim or kill each other.

America’s first internal battle with itself was the Civil War in the 1860’s. Approximately 620,000 soldiers died from combat, accident, starvation, and disease during America’s first Civil War with itself to settle the Slavery issue. Even with the war, no outside country attempted to attack America during its recovery. The saddest thing happening again is the division of families where brothers and sisters detest their fathers/mothers and even other brothers/sisters. The scariest fact is that this had not happened again in my lifetime until the mainstream media started fanning the fires to incite civil strife, assisted by Government employees leaking fake news and hoping for open warfire now.

I have grandchildren and possibly other family that have no desire to be associated or let great grandchildren even know I exist because of political beliefs. That’s “HATE”.

I am not alone and wish to share an exchange between a friend and his son who shall remain unknown. These exchanges show how diverse politics can be. Unfortunately one can see the hope for a Trump failure and the wisdom of the father hoping to calm diverse feelings.

EXCHANGES

Son.. Today has been quite a whirlwind day for the Trump inner circle. Two close, former allies, admitting and being convicted by a jury, of federal crimes.

Dad.. Messrs Cohen and Manafort convicted!  Do their convictions change what I think about POTUS?

I never thought Trump was a choir boy or someone who preferred sack cloth to Harris tweed.

As an “entrepreneur” and world class business person, it is unlikely that he had no skeletons in his closet.

As someone who was on the verge of building a grand hotel in Moscow, he made all sorts of connections with Russians.  And, one assumes, that he knew or should have known, that these Russian connections were most likely agents of the KGB or whatever the alphabet soup of Soviet security organizations that are included in the KGB orbit.

His decision to run for the Presidency was a known risk, that he decided to take.

What drives a man like “The Donald”?  Ambition, ego, greed and all the rest of the flaws that a businessman would collect, in an effort to make and keep a million or a billion dollars!  What I think is that more than 60 million American voters pulled the lever for him despite his flaws and baggage. Has he made mistakes, well duh!!

What did we expect….the perfection of political correctness?

How many political friends or insiders did he know or have as friends, during his business career and how many appointments did he have to make to populate his government?  He had to rely upon the advice and counsel of others, almost exclusively to make hundreds of appointments, of people he didn’t know. That’s what happens when someone from outside the Washington Swamp gets elected, to try and drain some of the contaminated water, he quickly finds himself in chest deep. He appointed Jeff  Sessions as AG as a reward for prior support and loyalty; however, that was not a good decision. Sessions should now resign, before Trump is forced to fire him. The reason Sessions cited for recusing himself was inappropriate, as was the basis for his action, because there was no conflict of interest.

If he remains healthy, i’ll be amazed. The pressure on him to say and do the right things at every occasion, at every meeting, at every opportunity, must be overwhelming.  Yet, he volunteered! No one pushed him, other than his own alter-ego!! As for Manafort, specifically, his convictions were well deserved. However, the crimes were for activities well before he joined the Trump team & very late in the campaign. As for the lawyer, well, I don’t have a lot of respect for the legal profession, to start with and even less after he squealed like a trapped rat and bargained for his life.

Son.. The implications for POTUS are horrible. This is not gloating at all.

Dad.. Let me assume you’re referring to the possibility of the Republicans losing its majority’s in the Congress?

That seems to be the driving force for every living Democrat and, the logical extension from that, is an effort to impeach him out of office. Nothing has changed in my view of what was once the concept of a “Loyal Opposition”.

In American politic’s. The daggers have been out for him since before his inauguration; sour grapes and animus are now the face of the Democrat Party. The hatred for him is palpable in the national media that echoes throughout acountry and, prodded by biased political pundits who were so unbelievably irate that they were so wrong. Whatever happened to the concept of “keeping your mouth shut, if you can’t say anything positive!”?  I have to walk out of the room whenever whiney Chuck Schumer reads another hateful diatribe against the man. The not so loyal opposition is trying to undo an election because they can’t believe and won’t accept, that their highly flawed candidate wasn’t anointed as their ideological savior.

Son.. I really would like to know your thoughts…..do you still see Trump in the same way?

Dad.. What way is that?  My basic opinion hasn’t changed because I started out with no illusions and knowing he was a mortal man with foibles & flaws. I knew that he would be torpedoed by holdovers from previous administrations and the increasingly corrupt FBI, CIA and DIA.  I feel sorry for those Americans who can’t accept that Trump beat a bad candidate for the highest office in the land. The nation needed someone to try and undue some of the damage that BHO had done to the country and to our standing in the world. Obama’s actions to disarm our military, suck up to Socialist/Communist regimes and apologize for being  the greatest nation in a hard and cruel world, were just some of what Trump promised to undo. Hear, Hear!!

Son.. Are his indiscretions and those close to him, i.e., Cohen, his long-time fixer, important to you?

Dad.. Not really!!  I have concern that the Democrats will now intensify their opposition to Trump’s SCOTUS nominee, Justice Kavanaugh.

The collective naiveté expressed by the fawning press, is as disgusting as usual.  I am usually not inclined to justify bad behavior by citing similar behavior by others. Just as other people have been toppled from their lofty perches, those less powerful, less successful, enjoy chipping away at the top dog; it’s an example of what the Aussies call the “Tall Poppy” syndrome”. In other words, they enjoy cutting the big dog down to size; it’s fast becoming our national pastime.

Son.. You have been very quiet lately, since the clearance issue has come up. Thoughts?

Dad.. Yes, a few! I appreciate you asking. Believe it or not, I have a few other interests beyond national politics. Here at “God’s Waiting Room”, we have lost several good friends lately and I have been attending memorials, as well as getting ready to teach my Refresher Course in Contract Bridge.

One of the reasons we have so many differences we have slowly removed many ways we used in the past to make sure the next generation had a historical education of the past. Just in my lifetime we have slowly phased out the older phases of American history and today we have few historians left and have nearly phased out both American as well any State history. This was not accidental, it was planned, programed over 100 years ago by President Teddy Roosevelt and has been perpetuated, paid for and performed by the Progressives who have never worried openly about how long it would take to Socialize America. For the first time in my life Socialism is supported by 30% of American voters.

The only American alive today with the Gonads to stop the race to socialize America is Trump. The Progressives know this and fear him more than Putin or any other world leader. They know if he can be eliminated America can be neutralized without ever firing a shot. Watching this self-destruction in action is painful.

ICE, “Illegial Crisis Engineers”

Having lived in Texas all of my life has obviously brought the illegal alien issues into our lives along with the folks in New Mexico and Arizona. I omitted California as they have been the land of fruit and nuts all of my life. California will always  have a lip lock on the fruity groups but the Hanoi Jane’s and John Kerry’s expanded the dissidents movements from the Pacific coast eastward to the Canadian border and Atlantic coast during and after the war in Viet Nam.

About the same time in the late 1960’s we had an explosion and some of the nuts spread to places like Arkansas, and Illinois. This brought us the Clinton’s, Ayres, Obama’s and  other assorted wing nuts who started their own war with our government. These warped American traitors were encouraged by the sorriest Texan and  President ever born, Lyndon Johnson. LBJ wrecked America and caused more damage to our “Freedoms” than every enemy we ever fought a war with.

I have a solution to make everyone happy and keep our ICE agents busy and make the people who oppose the ICE program happy.

To help our economy ICE can buy a fleet of luxury busses and some luxury train sleepers to transport every illegal that shows up on the Arizona/New Mexico/Texas border seeking a free new life for the next 90 days. Everyone from Arizona would be sent to Oregon/Washington/Idaho/Montana/North Dakota/Wyoming/Colorado/Utah. ICE would create a formula to dispense the illegals equally in each city and state. Those from New Mexico would be equally dispensed to Oklahoma/Kansas/South Dakota/Wisconsin/Iowa.

The ones who arrive in Texas would be handled a little differently. The State Capital would be moved from Austin to San Antonio. Travis county would be completely fenced in and would be given to Mexico free and clear. Passports would be required. Every  American in the new Mexican “State of Travis” could choose if they wished to have a Mexican or American nationality and passport but not both. With the thousands of Texas politicians and lawyers in Travis County who like nothing in America would be ever so happy as free Mexican citizens.

Illegals crossing the Rio Grande desiring to live in Travis County would be escorted by ICE to the new fenced in “Travis’ border. All others would be taken by bus and train to the sanctuary state of their desire. Ones who had no preference would be delivered to Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Virginia and West Virginia based on population.

Once they all got relocated. Ice would return to their duty stations and the borders would be closed. Any alien desiring to return home and those undesired by the new states who would then pay ICE to send them to jail or home. ICE would be allowed to sell them to California.

I would hire Joe Arpaio to establish prisons along the Rio Grande to inter aliens and make the countries of origin pay to house and feed them or take them home. That would pay for the walls.

Man, it’s fun to see a plan come together.

CIVIL WAR IS HAPPENING NOW!

My friend and fellow golfer, Ed Johnson. sent me this dynamite article that is the best illustration of what is happening today in America I have read. Jack Minzey, the author, was a perceptive genius and penned this outstanding  comparison a war without arms. If someone does not stop the Mueller exploitation and Witch Hunt the shooting could be next.

The actions described lead me to believe some powerful Democrats, Progressives, Liberals are hoping to increase the shooting and killing and to further divide Americans. They control the media and have far too many Federal Judges to create chaos, hate and diversions. When you analyze who has been amassing guns and ammunition preparing to defend their rights any armed conflict appears to be one sided. I would like to stimulate some dialog? Clyde Brewer.

A few weeks ago, Jack Minzey, sent what was to be the final chapter in the long line of books and treatises which he had written.

Jack went to be with the Lord on 8 April 2018.

Professionally, Jack was head of the Department of Education at Eastern Michigan University as well as a prolific author of numerous books, most of which were on the topic of Education and the Government role therein.  His interest in Conservative Politics was exceeded only by his intellectual ability.

This is the last of his works:

 Civil War

How do civil wars happen?

Two or more sides disagree on who runs the country. And they can’t settle the question through elections because they don’t even agree that elections are how you decide who’s in charge.  That’s the basic issue here. Who decides who runs the country? When you hate each other but accept the election results, you have a country. When you stop accepting election results, you have a countdown to a civil war.

The Mueller investigation is about removing President Trump from office and overturning the results of an election. We all know that. But it’s not the first time they’ve done this. The first time a Republican president was elected this century, they said he didn’t really win. The Supreme Court gave him the election. There’s a pattern here.

What do sure odds of the Democrats rejecting the next Republican president really mean? It means they don’t accept the results of any election that they don’t win. It means they don’t believe that transfers of power in this country are determined by elections.

That’s a civil war.

There’s no shooting. At least not unless you count the attempt to kill a bunch of Republicans at a charity baseball game practice. But the Democrats have rejected our system of government.

This isn’t dissent. It’s not disagreement. You can hate the other party. You can think they’re the worst thing that ever happened to the country. But then you work harder to win the next election. When you consistently reject the results of elections that you don’t win, what you want is a dictatorship.

Your very own dictatorship.

The only legitimate exercise of power in this country, according to Democrats, is its own. Whenever Republicans exercise power, it’s inherently illegitimate. The Democrats lost Congress. They lost the White House. So what did they do? They began trying to run the country through Federal judges and bureaucrats. Every time that a Federal judge issues an order saying that the President of the United States can’t scratch his own back without his say so, that’s the civil war.

Our system of government is based on the constitution, but that’s not the system that runs this country. The Democrat’s system is that any part of government that it runs gets total and unlimited power over the country.

If the Democrats are in the White House, then the president can do anything. And I mean anything. He can have his own amnesty for illegal aliens. He can fine you for not having health insurance. His power is unlimited. He’s a dictator.

But when Republicans get into the White House, suddenly the President can’t do anything. He isn’t even allowed to undo the illegal alien amnesty that his predecessor illegally invented. A Democrat in the White House has ‘discretion’ to completely decide every aspect of immigration policy. A Republican doesn’t even have the ‘discretion’ to reverse him. That’s how the game is played That’s how our country is run. Sad but true, although the left hasn’t yet won that particular fight.

When a Democrat is in the White House, states aren’t even allowed to enforce immigration law. But when a Republican is in the White House, states can create their own immigration laws. Under Obama, a state wasn’t allowed to go to the bathroom without asking permission. But under Trump, Jerry Brown can go around saying that California is an independent republic and sign treaties with other countries.

The Constitution has something to say about that.

Whether it’s Federal or State, Executive, Legislative or Judiciary, the left moves power around to run the country. If it controls an institution, then that institution is suddenly the supreme power in the land. This is what I call a moving dictatorship.

Donald Trump has caused the Shadow Government to come out of hiding: Professional government is a guild. Like medieval guilds. You can’t serve in if you’re not a member. If you haven’t been indoctrinated into its arcane rituals. If you aren’t in the club. And Trump isn’t in the club. He brought in a bunch of people who aren’t in the club with him.

Now we’re seeing what the pros do when amateurs try to walk in on them. They spy on them, they investigate them and they send them to jail. They use the tools of power to bring them down.

That’s not a free country.

It’s not a free country when FBI agents who support Hillary take out an ‘insurance policy’ against Trump winning the election. It’s not a free country when Obama officials engage in massive unmasking of the opposition. It’s not a free country when the media responds to the other guy winning by trying to ban the conservative media that supported him from social media. It’s not a free country when all of the above collude together to overturn an election because the guy who wasn’t supposed to win did.

Have no doubt, we’re in a civil war between conservative volunteer government and a leftist Democrat professional government.

What a great perception. CB

CHILDREN OF THE GREATEST GENERATION

My dear friend Peter Forrest shared this walk down memory lane that I will share with anyone who might never believe the early life we had. This recap is just a teaser when compared with things I can remember growing up. I was born in 1930 and have memories far beyond the things listed as others still alive could also share. I hope every one of the 47 people currently in my families keep a copy of this article and remember the changes that that happened most will never believe. The hardest thing my family and friends will find hard to believe Is trying to remember me having any connection to a “Silent” anything. I hope this creates some interest and questions, especially by my army of grandchildren before the “FAT LADY SINGS”. If anyone knows who wrote this please advise me so I can give them credits. Clyde Brewer

Born in the 1930s and early 40s, we exist as a very special age cohort. We are the Silent Generation.

We are the smallest number of children born since the early 1900s.  We are the “last ones.”

We are the last generation, climbing out of the depression, who can remember the winds of war and the impact of a world at war which rattled the structure of our daily lives for years.

We are the last to remember ration books for everythingfrom gas to sugar to shoes to stoves.

We saved tin foil and poured fat into tin cans.

We saw cars up on blocks because tires weren’t available.

We can remember milk being delivered to our house early in the morning and placed in the milk box on the porch.

We are the last to see the gold stars in the front windows of our grieving neighbors whose sons died in the War.

We saw the ‘boys’ home from the war, build their little houses.

We are the last generation who spent childhood without television; instead, we imagined what we heard on the radio.

As we all like to brag, with no TV, we spent our childhood “playing outside” .

We did play outside, and we did play on our own.

There was no little league.

There was no city playground for kids.

The lack of television in our early years meant, for most of us, that we had little real understanding of what the world was like.

On Saturday afternoons, the movies, gave us newsreels of the war sandwiched in between westerns and cartoons.

Telephones were one to a house, often shared (party Lines)and hung on the wall.

Computers were called calculators, they only added and were hand cranked; typewriters were driven by pounding fingers, throwing the carriage, and changing the ribbon.

The internet and GOOGLE were words that did not exist.

Newspapers and magazines were written for adults and the news was broadcast on our table radio in the evening by Gabriel Heatter.

We are the last group who had to find out for ourselves.

As we grew up, the country was exploding with growth.

The G.I. Bill gave returning veterans the means to get an education and spurred colleges to grow.

VA loans fanned a housing boom.

Pent up demand coupled with new installment payment plans put factories to work.

New highways would bring jobs and mobility.

The veterans joined civic clubs and became active in politics.

The radio network expanded from 3 stations to thousands of stations

Our parents were suddenly free from the confines of the depression and the war, and they threw themselves into exploring opportunities they had never imagined.

We weren’t neglected, but we weren’t today’s all-consuming family focus.

They were glad we played by ourselves until the street lights came on.

They were busy discovering the post war world.

We entered a world of overflowing plenty and opportunity; a world where we were welcomed.

We enjoyed a luxury; we felt secure in our future.

Depression poverty was deep rooted.

Polio was still a crippler.

The Korean War was a dark presage in the early 50s and by mid-decade school children were ducking under desks for Air-Raid training.

Russia built the Iron Curtain and China became Red China ..

Eisenhower sent the first ‘advisers’ to Vietnam.

Castro set up camp in Cuba and Khrushchev came to power.

We are the last generation to experience an interlude when there were no threats to our homeland.

We came of age in the 40s and 50s.  The war was over and the cold war, terrorism, global warming , and  perpetual economic insecurity had yet to haunt life with unease.

Only our generation can remember both a time of great war, and a time when our world was secure and full of bright promise and plenty. We have lived through both.

We grew up at the best possible time, a time when the world was getting better. not worse.

We are the Silent Generation. (most of us possibly?) CB

“The Last Ones”

More than 99 % of us are either retired or deceased, and we feel privileged to have”lived in the best of times”!
