A Conservative View

Praying that Donald Trump can save Americas freedoms!

The year was 1947. Some of you will recall that on  July 8, 1947,  70 years ago,  numerous witnesses claim that an Unidentified Flying Object, (UFO), with five aliens aboard, crashed onto a sheep and mule ranch just outside  Roswell,  New Mexico

This is a well-known incident that many say has long been covered-up by the U.S. Air Force,  as well as other Federal Agencies and Organizations…

However, what you may “NOT” know is that in the month of April, year 1948,  nine months after that historic day, the following people were born:

Barrack Obama  Sr.

Albert A. Gore, Jr.

Hillary Rodham

William J. Clinton

John F. Kerry

Howard Dean

Nancy Pelosi

Dianne Feinstein

Charles E. Schumer

Barbara Boxer

Joe Biden

This is the obvious consequence of aliens breeding with sheep and jack-asses.

I truly hope this bit of information clears up a lot of things for you. It certainly did for me.

And now every real American can stop wondering why these mix breeds  support shutting down our Government had no other reason but to help Illegal Aliens.

And now you know the historical significance with the rest of the story.

My friend, Bob McGraw, sent me the factual and historical data that I embellished with some personal and editorial observations.  Please share with all of your friends, including Government Employees who may be on paid leave tonight?

My friend, Peter Forrest, sent me these questions and it seems more than interesting to ask your “Liberal Friends” to see if they can explain even one. I want to ask you to please share any answers you might receive as I don’t have even one Liberal” that will speak to me. Even my own liberal family members no longer speak to me. I promise to print any answers but I doubt I will get any feedback as Liberals” never have an answer to anything I ask them. They just shrug their shoulders and walk away. I have no idea who compiled these questions and if anyone knows, tell me so I can give them credits.

Since only 8 million people have ObamaCare, how will 24 million people die after it is repealed? Will 16 million people be randomly shot?

If Donald Trump deleted all of his emails, wiped his server with Bleachbit and destroyed all of his phones with a hammer, would the Mainstream Media suddenly lose all interest in the story and declare him innocent?

If women do the same job for less money, why do companies hire men to do the same job for more money?

If you rob a bank in a Sanctuary City, is it illegal or is it just an ‘Undocumented Withdrawal’?

Each ISIS attack now is a reaction to Trump policies, but all ISIS attacks during Obama’s term were due to Climate Change and a plea for jobs. Why?

After the London ‘Lone Wolf’ terrorist attack government officials have arrested at least eight other ‘Lone Wolves’ who had conspired with the original ‘Lone Wolf’ in planning the ‘Lone Wolf’ attack.  Even though all involved are Muslims, you can be assured, the ‘Lone Wolf’ attack has nothing at all to do with Islam, just like the other 1000 plus ‘Lone Wolf’ attacks by Muslims, are completely unassociated with Islam. Why?

We are scolded every day to stop calling “Freebies” ‘Entitlements’. Welfare, Food Stamps, WIC, ad nauseum are not entitlements. They are taxpayer-funded handouts, and should be called, What?

Social Security and Veterans Benefits are Entitlements because the people receiving them are entitled to them. They were earned and paid for by the recipients. Why does the Media keep listing them with other Freebies?

If Muslims want to run away from a Muslim country, does that mean they’re Islamophobic?

If Liberals don’t believe in biological gender then why did they march for women’s rights?

If Trump was involved with the Russians hacking the Presidential election. How did the Russians get Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the DNC to steal the Primary from Bernie Sanders? How did Russia get Donna Brazile to leak debate questions to Hillary Clinton in advance of the debates?

Why is it that Democrats think Super-delegates are necessary for their nominations, but they have a problem with the Electoral College? Aren’t they used for the same reasons?

If you don’t want the FBI involved in elections, why did the Democrats nominate someone who’s being investigated by the FBI.

If Hillary’s got paid $250,000 an hour for her speeches, how come no one showed up to her free ones?

The DNC is mad at Russia because they ‘think’ they are trying to manipulate our election by exposing that the DNC was manipulating our election, why?

Just one more thing on Trump’s ‘Locker Room Vocabulary’. Why is it that Liberals and the Media are upset about the words Trump used 11 years ago but they are comfortable with strange adult men using the Ladies Room with your Wives and Daughters?  ANON

I feel sure I could keep adding more questions but the Liberals will ignore theses as no one forces them to follow the rules. If we has an honest media and Federal Employees that were not biased it would be nice to watch closely if any of these questions ever appear again. When the FBI can’t be trusted who can you trust?

If the Democrats were made to follow the rules and laws they would never get anyone elected at the national level again. Draining the swamp has been found to be wider and deeper than even Trump expected. Let’s all try to help.

For the past several months possibly billions of dollars of Liberal money has been spent hoping to defeat the recent tax reduction. They have bought 100% of the Democrats in Congress to scream at the top of their lungs that we need tax increases to keep funding our new segment of voters, the unemployed and underemployed welfare army, WHY?

The primary reason is that the over educated, uneducated and under educated  American voters coupled with the welfare army can continue the Liberal/Progressive march to Socialism. The really sad thing to watch, if you care, is the and 95% Socialist and Communist professors in our higher education system that poison every day the young minds with their hate for freedoms. The really stupid part is the same professors can easily be imprisoned once they win their mission.

I received the following message from multiple sources that every American with any intelligence should read.

“The Trump administration released their annual Report to Congress on White House Office Personnel. It includes the name, status, salary and position title of all 377 White House employees”.

“The report also said that Trump decided not to take a dime of his salary, instead he donated it to an amazing cause! (see below). I was able to check was true, plus Ivanka and Jarred are paid zero”.

“The report also showed that President Trump is far better at saving money than Obama was. The total annual White House salaries under Trump are $35.8 million vs. $40.9 under Obama, a savings of $5.1 million. Here are Some other key findings”.

“There are 110 fewer employees on White House staff under Trump than under Obama at this point in their respective presidencies”.

“Nineteen fewer staffers are dedicated to The First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS). Currently there are five staffers dedicated to Melania Trump vs. 24 staffers who served Michelle Obama (FY2009)”.

“However, it’s what the report said Trump did with this salary that has everyone talking. Instead of taking his salary, Trump donated all $400,000 to the Department of the Interior where it will be used for construction and repair needs at military cemeteries! AMAZING! It’s so great to have a President who loves our brave military men and women so much”!

“Oh, and where’s the media coverage of this? Oh, that’s right, they don’t cover anything good that the President does”.                   ANON

Watching the news “FOX” today it was refreshing to see Walmart share their tax savings with their millions of employees. Since the tax relief legislation was enacted by Congress, without a single Democratic vote, in the House and Senate we watched an amazing number of American companies give significant bonuses to all employees.

Unless you watch Fox News you would never know the real value and help for the average working American. CNN and the other major networks have had lockjaw and little has been shared unless they could possibly gerrymander the facts into a disadvantage for Donald Trump.

I have a suggestion to make to the entire Democratic Party who opposed this help for everyone who works for a living. Let me propose a Democratic program to help all of those on welfare, every prisoner in America, 13 million illegals, 800,000 DACA aliens and the students who have been radicalized by Socialists Professors

Starting with the wealthy Democratic donors, some who hide from exposure, 100% of the Democratic Congresspersons, all liberal Government employees, all Progressives and every liberal employee in the Mainstream Media. You have to a person stated that the tax legislation would only help the rich. If everyone noted above would promise to donate every new dollar they will receive in the tax legislation decrease it could help the designated poor people in America including the aliens they love so dearly.

A picture of Pelosi and Schumer serving T Bones to the prisoners of a Federal “pokey” would be great publicity. A picture of George Soros lounging around with some inner city gang leaders would be dynamite. Watching Bill Clinton marching with a promo sign at a House of Ill Repute would really help show support for the working woman.

Should the “Donkey Party” accept my above challenges it might actually gain enough votes to get control of Congress again.

Let the 2018 political games begin. Trump is leading us to  an America that will work for a living again. Then we will have no needs for the army of illegals who get welfare to exist.                          C Brewer  1-11.18

This story touched me deeply as I was a boy 15 years old when World War II ended with millions of boys dead. The impact was the driving force that led me to volunteer to enlist in the US Navy two later at 17 after graduating from high school. It is a shame we do not have mandatory basic military training for every boy and girl American, foreign students and illegals. They either make a man or a woman out of every child or designate them as a future problem. They also can pinpoint those who are ready for higher education or provide the others for the trades. Many will remain in the military as a career.

The Navy prepared me well for my future and made a man out of this boy professionally. I served during the Korean war but never faced combat. I am proud to be a veteran. My wife, Norma, had one Uncle killed on Iwo Jima and another Uncle lost both legs. Both were also just boys. I am posting this on my blog and hope my family keeps posting this again and again long after I my lifetime is over. My thanks to my friend Peter Forrest who shared this great story with me.    Clyde Brewer

This read is long but worth the time. If you read it before it’s pretty good to read again. ( I have read it five times.  CB)

Each year I am hired to go to Washington, DC,  With the eighth grade class from Clinton, WI where I grew up, to videotape their trip. I Greatly enjoy visiting our nation’s Capital, and each year I take some Special memories back with me. This fall’s trip was especially Memorable.

On The last night of our trip, we stopped at the Iwo Jima Memorial. This memorial is the largest bronze statue in the world and
Depicts one of the most famous photographs in history — that of the six Brave soldiers raising the American Flag at the top of a rocky hill on The island of Iwo Jima, Japan, during WW II. Over One hundred students and chaperones piled off the buses and headed Towards the memorial. I noticed a solitary figure at the base of the Statue, and as I got closer he asked, ‘Where are you guys From?’

I Told him that we were from Wisconsin . ‘Hey, I’m a cheese head, too! Come gather around, Cheese heads, and I will Tell you a story.’

(It Was James Bradley who just happened to be in Washington , DC , to speak at The memorial the following day. He was there that night to say good Night to his dad, who had passed away. He was just about to leave when He saw the buses pull up. I videotaped him as he spoke to us, and Received his permission to share what he said from my videotape. It is One thing to tour the incredible monuments filled with history in Washington, DC, but it is Quite another to get the kind of insight we received that Night.)

When All had gathered around, he reverently began to speak. (Here are his Words that night..)

‘My Name is James Bradley and I’m from Antigo, Wisconsin My dad is on that statue, and I Wrote a book called ‘Flags of Our Fathers’. It is the story of the six Boys you see behind me.

‘Six Boys raised the flag. The first guy putting the pole in the ground is Harlon Block. Harlon was an all-state football player. He enlisted in The Marine Corps with all the senior members of his football team.. They Were off to play another type of game. A game called ‘War.’ But it Didn’t turn out to be a game. Harlon, at the age of 21, died with his Intestines in his hands. I don’t say that to gross you out, I say that Because there are people who stand in front of this statue and talk About the glory of war. You guys need to know that most of the boys in Iwo Jima were 17, 18, and 19 years old – and it was so hard that the Ones who did make it home never even would talk to their families about It.

(He Pointed to the statue) ‘You see this next guy? That’s Rene Gagnon From New Hampshire If you took Rene’s helmet off at the moment this photo was taken and Looked in the webbing of that helmet, you would find a photograph….a Photograph of his girlfriend Rene put that in there for protection Because he was scared. He was 18 years old. It was just boys who won the Battle of Iwo Jima . Boys. Not old Men.

‘The Next guy here, the third guy in this tableau, was Sergeant Mike Strank. Mike is my hero. He was the hero of all these guys. They called him the ‘old man’ because he was so old. He was already 24. When Mike would Motivate his boys in training camp, he didn’t say, ‘Let’s go kill some Japanese’ or ‘Let’s die for our country’ He knew he was talking to Little boys.. Instead he would say, ‘You do what I say, and I’ll get you Home to your mothers.’

‘The Last guy on this side of the statue is Ira Hayes, a Pima Indian from Arizona . Ira Hayes was one of them who Lived to walk off Iwo Jima . He went into the White House With my dad. President Truman told him, ‘You’re a hero’ He told Reporters, ‘How can I feel like a hero when 250 of my buddies hit the Island with me and only 27 of us walked off Alive?’

So you take your class at school, 250 of you spending a year together having fun, doing everything together. Then all 250 of you hit the beach, but only 27 of your classmates walk off alive. That was Ira Hayes. He had images of horror in his mind. Ira Hayes carried the pain home with him and eventually died dead drunk, face down, drowned in a very shallow puddle, at the age of 32 (ten years after this picture was taken).

‘The next guy, going around the statue, is Franklin Sousley from Hilltop, Kentucky . A fun-lovin’ hillbilly boy. His best friend, who is now 70, told me, ‘Yeah, you know, we took two cows up on the porch of the Hilltop General Store. Then we strung wire across the stairs so the cows couldn’t get down. Then we fed them Epsom salts. Those cows crapped all night.’ Yes, he was a fun-lovin’ hillbilly boy. Franklin died on Iwo Jima at the age of 19. When the telegram came to tell his mother that he was dead, it went to the Hilltop General Store. A barefoot boy ran that telegram up to his mother’s farm. The neighbors could hear her scream all night and into the morning. Those neighbors lived a quarter of a mile away..

‘The next guy, as we continue to go around the statue, is my dad, John Bradley, from Antigo, Wisconsin , where I was raised. My dad lived until 1994, but he would never give interviews. When Walter Cronkite’s producers or the New York Times would call, we were trained as little kids to say ‘No, I’m sorry, sir, my dad’s not here. He is in Canada fishing. No, there is no phone there, sir. No, we don’t know when he is coming back.’ My dad never fished or even went to Canada . Usually, he was sitting there right at the table eating his Campbell ‘s soup. But we had to tell the press that he was out fishing. He didn’t want to talk to the press.

‘You see, like Ira Hayes, my dad didn’t see himself as a hero. Everyone thinks these guys are heroes, ’cause they are in a photo and on a monument. My dad knew better. He was a medic. John Bradley from Wisconsin was a combat caregiver. On Iwo Jima he probably held over 200 boys as they died. And when boys died on Iwo Jima , they writhed and screamed, without any medication or help with the pain.

‘When I was a little boy, my third grade teacher told me that my dad was a hero. When I went home and told my dad that, he looked at me and said, ‘I want you always to remember that the heroes of Iwo Jima are the guys who did not come back. Did NOT come back.’

‘So that’s the story about six nice young boys.. Three died on Iwo Jima , and three came back as national heroes. Overall, 7,000
boys died on Iwo Jima in the worst battle in the history of the Marine Corps. My voice is giving out, so I will end here. Thank you for your time.’

Suddenly, the monument wasn’t just a big old piece of metal with a flag sticking out of the top. It came to life before our eyes with the heartfelt words of a son who did indeed have a father who was a hero. Maybe not a hero for the reasons most people would believe, but a hero nonetheless.

One thing I learned while on tour with my 8th grade students in DC that is not mentioned here is . . that if you look at the statue very closely and count the number of ‘hands’ raising the flag, there are 13. When the man who made the statue was asked why there were 13, he simply said the13th hand was the hand of God.

Great story – worth your time – worth every American’s time. Please pass it on. ANON

I have no idea if anyone actually reads the articles I write as virtually no one appears willing to send me feedback. My friend, Freddie “Tadpole” Keel, encouraged me to write and initially set up my WordPress site and taught me how to use it. Preparing to create this posting I as more than surprised to see that I published my first article on September 17, 2010, over 7 years ago. My next surprise was to see that I have published 1128 articles, so far.

My only disappointment is that over those seven years I have received only 1141 comments. Writing is usually a way for people to make a living. For me it has always been a way to share my thoughts, beliefs and knowledge gained in my 47 year career. Starting at seventeen when I joined the Navy, 27 years, 25 in management for Lockheed, 5 years in executive management for Halliburton and 11 years in business for myself. One of my most rewarding task was writing Quality Standard Q-1, including committee structure and guidance procedures for the American Petroleum Institute. I finished my Masters degree at 47. I am a retired Registered Professional Engineer, Member of Mensa, Intertel, ASME, SPE, AQC,and a life member of the PTA.

I had my first international experience at age 28 and when I retired I had worked in 23 different countries and 49 states. I have visited in 32 countries. One unusual thing is the country I was in 33 times, Japan, was a country where I never worked a day. I changed planes in Tokyo and never set foot outside the airport flying to and from other Asian countries. The foreign countries I spent the most time in were Indonesia, Singapore, Denmark, Mexico and Canada.

I started both alone and with partners nine different companies in the US, Canada and Singapore. One thing I found interesting was the help from government agencies in starting businesses in Canada and Singapore. They helped at every step including financial with government loans.

In the United States any form of Government help to start a small business is nonexistent or hidden.

I have enjoyed 24 years of retirement and 87 years of life. The primary reason I am still alive is the love of my life, Norma, who has been my wife, partner, motivator and Judge for 57 years. My mind has not regressed but physically from my knees down I feel 97, I have seven children and counting spouses i currently have 46 in my family of grandchildren, great grandchildren and my first great great grandchild. This group has 5 Doctors, 4 Lawyers (3 too many), 5 educators, a CPA, Petroleum Engineer, Aerospace Manager, three Nurses, 6 now in college and 2 less than 6 months old. Now let me finish this walk through my life and ask everyone who reads this to tell me about your life and I will write articles about some who read my work. If family and friends were money I would be the richest man on earth. Please respond.

Stay with this — the answer is at the end.

One evening a grandson was talking to his grandfather about current events.

The grandson asked his grandfather what he thought about the shootings at schools, the computer age, and just things in general..

The Grandfather replied, “Well, let me think a minute, I was born before:

‘ television

‘ penicillin

‘ polio shots

‘ frozen foods

‘ Xerox

‘ contact lenses

‘ Frisbees and

‘ the pill

There were no:

‘ credit cards

‘ laser beams or

‘ ball-point pens

Man had not invented :

‘ pantyhose

‘ air conditioners

‘ dishwashers

‘ clothes dryers

‘ and the clothes were hung out to dry in the fresh air and

‘ space travel was only in Flash Gordon books.

Your Grandmother and I got married first,… and then lived together..

Every family had a father and a mother.

I called every woman older than me, “mam”.

And after I turned 25, I still called policemen and every man with a title, “Sir.”

We were before gay-rights, computer-dating, dual careers, daycare centers, and group therapy.

Our lives were governed by the Bible, good judgment, and common sense.

We were taught to know the difference between right and wrong and to stand up and take responsibility for our actions.

Serving your country was a privilege; living in this country was a bigger privilege.

We thought fast food was eating half a biscuit while running to catch the school bus.

Having a meaningful relationship meant getting along with your cousins.

Draft dodgers were those who closed front doors as the evening breeze started.

Time-sharing meant time the family spent together in the evenings and weekends-not purchasing condominiums.

We never heard of FM radios, tape decks, CDs, electric typewriters, yogurt, or guys wearing earrings.

We listened to Big Bands, Jack Benny, and the President’s speeches on our radios.

And I don’t ever remember any kid blowing his brains out listening to Tommy Dorsey.

If you saw anything with ‘Made in Japan ‘ on it, it was junk the term ‘making out’ referred to how you did on your school exam.

Pizza Hut, McDonald’s, and instant coffee were unheard of.

We had 5 &10-cent stores where you could actually buy things for 5 and 10 cents.

Ice-cream cones, phone calls, rides on a streetcar, and a Pepsi were all a nickel.

And if you didn’t want to splurge, you could spend your nickel on enough stamps to mail 1 letter and 2 postcards.

You could buy a new Ford Coupe for $600, … but who could afford one? Too bad, because gas was 11 cents a gallon.

In my day:

‘ “grass” was mowed,

‘ “coke” was a cold drink,

‘ “pot” was something your mother cooked in and

‘ “rock music” was your grandmother’s lullaby.

‘ “Aids” were helpers in the Principal’s office,

‘ “chip” meant a piece of wood,

‘ “hardware” was found in a hardware store and

‘ “software” wasn’t even a word.

And we were the last generation to actually believe that a lady needed a husband to have a baby. No wonder people call us “old and confused” and say there is a generation gap or from the archives.

How old do you think I am?

Are you ready ?

This man would be only 70 years old today. ANON

Can you image that I am 87 when we did not have many other things. C Brewer 12-27-17

You know. . . time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years.

It seems just yesterday that I was young, and embarking on my new life. Yet in a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all the years went. I know that I lived them all. I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams. But, here it is… the winter of my life and it catches me by surprise…How did I get here so fast? Where did the years go and where did my youth go?

I remember well seeing older people through the years and thinking that those older people were years away from me and that winter was so far off that I could not fathom it or imagine fully what it would be like. But, here it is…my friends are retired and getting grey…they move slower and I see an older person now. Some are in better and some worse shape than me…but, I see the great change…Not like the ones that I remember who were young and vibrant…but, like me, their age is beginning to show and we are now those older folks that we used to see and never thought we’d be.

Each day now, I find that just getting a shower is a real target for the day! And taking a nap is not a treat anymore… it’s mandatory! Cause if I don’t on my own free will… I just fall asleep where I sit!

And so…now I enter into this new season of my life unprepared for all the aches and pains and the loss of strength and ability to go and do things that I wish I had done but never did!

But, at least I know, that though the winter has come, and I’m not sure how long it will last…this I know, that when it’s over on this earth…it’s NOT over. A new adventure will begin!

Yes, I have regrets. There are things I wish I hadn’t done…things I should have done, but indeed, there are many things I’m happy to have done. It’s all in a lifetime.

So, if you’re not in your winter yet…let me remind you, that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to accomplish in your life please do it quickly! Don’t put things off too long!

Life goes by quickly. So, do what you can today, as you can never be sure whether this is your winter or not! You have no promise that you will see all the seasons of your life…so, live for today and say all the things that you want your loved ones to remember…and hope that they appreciate and love you for all the things that you have done for them in all the years past!

“Life” is a gift to you. The way you live your life is your gift to those who come after. Make it a fantastic one.

My friend Ron Jenkins shared this wonderful story that many Americans will never understand. Today we let illegals flood us with lifelong welfare professionals that seldom add any value to our society, just costs. When people come to improve themselves we add value to America instead of a lifetime of costs borne by we the Taxpayers for a lifetime of costs instead of  adding value. WHY? To help the Democrats get more votes.  C Brewer

The difference between legal and illegal.

This is something everyone in America should read….It looks like we did some good after all!

On Saturday, July 24th, 2010 the town of Prescott Valley, AZ, hosted a Freedom Rally.  Quang Nguyen was asked to speak on his experience of coming to America and what it means.  He spoke the following In dedication to all Vietnam Veterans.  Thought you might enjoy hearing what he had to say:

Start Quote:

35 years ago, if you were to tell me that I am going to stand up here speaking to a couple thousand patriots, in English, I’d laugh at you.  Man, every morning I wake up thanking God for putting me and my family in the greatest country on earth.  I just want you all to know that the American dream does exist and I am living the American dream.  I was asked to speak to you about my experience as a first generation Vietnamese-American, but I’d  rather speak to you as an American.

If you hadn’t noticed, I am not white and I feel pretty comfortable with my people.  I am a proud US citizen and here is my proof. It took me 8 years to get it, waiting in endless lines, but I got it, and I am very proud of it.

I still remember the images of the Tet offensive in 1968, I was six years old.  Now you might want to question how a 6-year-old boy could remember anything. Trust me, those images can never be erased. I can’t even imagine what it was like for young American soldiers, 10,000 miles away from home, fighting on my behalf.

35 years ago, I left South Vietnam for political asylum.  The war had ended.  At the age of 13, I left with the understanding that I may or may not ever get to see my siblings or parents again.  I was one of the first lucky 100,000 Vietnamese allowed to come to the US.  Somehow, my family and I were reunited 5 months later, amazingly, in California.  It was a miracle from God.

If you haven’t heard lately that this is the greatest country on earth, I am telling you that right now.  It was the freedom and the opportunities presented to me that put me here with all of you tonight.  I also remember the barriers that I had to overcome every step of the way.  My high school counselor told me that I cannot make it to college due to my poor communication skills.  I proved him wrong.  I finished college.  You see, all you have to do is to give this little boy an opportunity and encourage him to take and run with it.  Well, I took the opportunity and here I am.

This person standing tonight in front of you could not exist under a socialist/communist environment.  By the way, if you think socialism is the way to go, I am sure many people here will chip in to get you a one-way ticket out of here.  And if you didn’t know, the only difference between socialism and communism is an AK-47 aimed at your head.  That was my experience.

In 1982, I stood with a thousand new immigrants, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and listening to the National Anthem for the first time as an American.  To this day, I can’t remember anything sweeter and more patriotic than that moment in my life.

Fast forwarding, somehow I finished high school, finished college, and like any other goofball 21 year old kid, I was having a great time with my life I had a nice job and a nice apartment in Southern California.  In some way and somehow, I had forgotten how I got here and why I was here.

One day I was at a gas station, I saw a veteran pumping gas on the other side of the island.  I don’t know what made me do it, but I walked over and asked if he had served in Vietnam.  He smiled and said yes.

I shook and held his hand.  This grown man’s eyes began to well up.  I walked away as fast as I could and at that very moment, I was emotionally rocked.  This was a profound moment in my life.  I knew something had to change in my life.  It was time for me to learn how to be a good citizen.  It was time for me to give back.

You see, America is not just a place on the map, it isn’t just a physical location.  It is an ideal, a concept.  And if you are an American, you must understand the concept, you must accept this concept, and most importantly, you have to fight and defend this concept.  This is about Freedom and not free stuff.  And that is why I am standing up here

Brothers and sisters, to be a real American, the very least you must do is to learn English and understand it well.  In my humble opinion, you cannot be a faithful patriotic citizen if you can’t speak the language of the country you live in.  Take this document of 46 pages – last I looked on the Internet, there wasn’t a Vietnamese translation of the U.S. Constitution.  It took me a long time to get to the point of being able to converse and until this day, I still struggle to come up with the right words. It’s not easy, but if it’s too easy, it’s not worth doing. Before I knew this 46-page document, I learned of the 500,000 Americans who fought for this little boy. I learned of the 58,000 names inscribed on the black wall at the Vietnam Memorial.  You are my heroes.  You are my founders.

At this time, I would like to ask all the Vietnam veterans to please stand.  I thank you for my life.  I thank you for your sacrifices, and I thank you for giving me the freedom and liberty I have today.  I now ask all veterans, firefighters, and police officers, to please stand.  On behalf of all first generation immigrants,

I thank you for your services and may God bless you all.

Something you wouldn’t see in the mainstream media…

 A Little Story
In 1991, at the end of Desert Storm, a 19 yr. old US Army Cavalry Scout Private who had just spent 8 months at war sat out on a street at Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia.
He sat there on his duffle bag with his Battalion around him for 4 days waiting for the buses to come and take him to the King Fahad Airport so he could go home.
Unfortunately, the politicians of the day never planned for how to bring so many soldiers home after the war ended so there was a shortage of planes. Politicians are great at talking, but terrible at doing.
Finally, the buses came, and took the young man to the airport. The planes waiting were from Tower Air.  The owner of Tower Air had volunteered his planes and staff to bring soldiers home for the cost of fuel only.
Happily, the young veteran got home just in time for Easter weekend in 1991,
That Private was me.
The Airline owner – Donald J Trump.
Written by Ron Knouse and spent that time emotionally healing with friends and family surrounding him.
This needs to go viral. He’s done so many good things you never hear about.
They love to rip him up.

I wonder if anyone but myself is sick of politics? We elected a non-politician to drain a swamp and the swamp is so huge and spans the entire United States, not just Washington DC. The problem is after nearly a year we are finally being treated to a journey back to “Peyton Place”.

We have seen the Russians blamed for Hillary’s demise when they were actually paid by the Democratic National Committee to build a clandestine plot to defeat Donald Trump. We have a “Search and Destroy” mission within the Justice Department to ruin the life of anyone close to Trump or his family. They are being fed by the mainstream media with every piece of fake news possible to get Trump ejected. They know when the swamp is drained they will be drummed out of the country by the people.

Washington DC is so scared of the mass of illegal actions that Congress is actually forcing some to resign before they are under oath. Our justice Department is so rife with hate, bias and liberals it would likely fold up if all of the cowards were dismissed. The bias and hate of the Federal Judges has even surprised me. Even the Supreme Court now makes decisions based on politics rather than the law.

If the truth was known and every member of Congress was forced to take a lie detector test no one would pass. If any of the males were asked if they ever made a pass at a woman and if any female were asked if they ever tricked a man all would fail if they said no. If 100% were asked if they ever padded an expense report all would fail if audited. None would pass if asked if they ever lied in their life as all would fail if they said no.

What we see happening in both Congress and all government employees is a race to survive and a good cleansing would be most refreshing.

Hopefully after Tuesday we can hear the news again as Mr. Roy Moore will be elected or defeated. In my 87 years I have never watched a “Lynching” of an American without his day in court. He has been labeled guilty by the media, Republicans and Democrats in Congress without a fair trial. To me the women who were obviously sought out by the Democratic Party to scream harassment now, were paid. Why did they not come forth when he was elected Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, not once but twice, 2000-2003 and 2012-2016.

What the media has omitted was at the time of every accusation he was a Democrat. Who is Roy Moore? He graduated from the US Military Academy with a BS in 1969 and served as a Captain in the US Army. He received his JD from the University of Alabama in 1977. He is married with four children and five grandchildren.

Not having or caring to learn more the only thing I would condemn Moore for is being a lawyer. I would be first to admit we have far too many lawyers, especially in Congress. Even if Moore loses his opponent is also a lawyer and the people can’t win either way. I know nothing about Doug Jones or really care to. He is a liberal and enemy of common sense.
